Curso's True High Brix!

Hey Curso, so I seen that tea you gave to jon and I have a question or two. So I assume you add water to the bucket to bubble but is it a full five gallons of water or less? Also do you see a problem with cutting the ingredients in half? I don't need 15 gallons of tea at the moment, my one plant only takes a gallon at a time.

Honestly if you have just worm castings you could get away with that. Put a cup or so in a stocking in a gallon of water and bubble it for 24 hours. The put that gallon (filtered) into your water and feed the ladies. You'll be happy with results.

I'm going to try to get some pics up today. This Pineapple Skunk is getting to heavy to support itself and broke a few branches on its own. Fine by me, I chopped the couple branches and scoped them, mostly cloudy with a clear here and there. The Cookies well...I'm for sure not taking it yet. I gave them both some energy yesterday and they'll get just water from here on out. I really want to finish these last plants under the LED for a week or so and see what happens.

Veg tent is going to get flipped tomorrow to sex the questionable plants. I have 3 (blue cheese and sour diesel #2) in there that are fem seed and 5 that are questionable so we'll find out in a couple days what I'm working with. Males will get culled and the rest will get ready to flower in 7gl smart pots. They all got sprayed with stress for the first time on Saturday. They loved it. These indigo endos, if they are female, man, they're going to be nice plants. I was going to top them and train them some however I haven't grown this strain and have more seeds of it so I'm going to just let them do what they do. Other than the usual clean up, I'm going to let them just grow. The plants I haven't grown before (indigo endo, blue cheese) will go by the book, the others (gdp x cookies, AK and Sour Diesel #2) I will play with.

So I was going to bubble some tea but then got to wondering how long after bubbling can it sit before use? I just flushed 15 gal through to correct a potassium deficiency so it's still kinda wet.

I was going to use:
1 1/2 cup soil
3/4 cupAzomite
1/8 cup Mycos
And some worn castings(2 cups?)
2 TBS of molasses
What do you think?
I was also thinking of adding something high in P because I'm in week 3 of flower but maybe not.

The mix is solid, I would wait until they dry out before adding tea, we don't want to over water them. Bubble it for 12-24 hours, filter it then dilute it 10:1'ish. Kylekushman.com has some interesting stuff to say about tea, I'd link it but I'm like super lazy right now...lol I followed his links from products and read on the OGtea too. Not that I plan on using it but it's always interesting to read what other people have to say on tea's.

My light will be here sometime today. So pics will follow...I am Super excited to get more light.

You are the man!!!

Okay got the before LED pics of the 2 real nice plants. The Pineapple Skunk lost her top and the tops to a couple branches and hermied a bit in late flower. I'm going to let them both ride at least another week on just water.

Now THAT'S what I like to see in plants a week away from finishing - still nice and green everywhere. They're gonna be some big yielders, too.

Beautiful, Curso!

Thanks bro :) The first Pineapple skunk gave me a little bit over 3 zips of good bud and 2 of hash trim ;) I'm really happy with that strain even though it hermied late it very well could have been my fault. By far the heaviest plant I have grown in High Brix. Good yields are totally possible. It smells great in the jar I haven't really messed with it to much other than a couple big fat Cones that knocked me on my ass. I got that with a 600w hps...I can't wait to see what I can do with the 240 x 5w LED :high-five:

YaY me!!! My Top Led arrived in one piece and in very good working condition. Man this thing is super bright and makes the plants look really sexy.

I didn't go to pic happy with it. I was happy to get it up and the girls back under some light ;)

I am loving those lights. Show me what they can do curso and maybe soon I will dive in head first.

I've been monitoring the TOPLed threads, and I understand those 5W diodes are ferociously bright. 240 of 'em, huh?

Yeah bro its pretty f'ing bright in there :high-five: I'm monitoring the taller of the Cookies it's top is pretty close to the light and I might have to cut it down if it starts to show signs of burning. We'll see how it does when I put the vegging plants in there ;) Until then, it sure is a pretty light...lol!!!

I'm workin it bro ;) I really want to get a couple plants in there. But I know they will be much, much better plants if I wait until I can lower the light to the proper level. Give me a week, the anxiousness of seeing it flower will by then be overwhelming :high-five:

I am sure I'll enjoy it and most likely take the top of the taller Cookie plant tomorrow. I'd rather have some early than jacked up. Yes it's very, very bright I was really shocked when I plugged it in. It's a whole lot brighter than I had expected it to be. I get what you meant when you said you could feel the light. It kinda reminds me of the feeling of getting in to a tanning bed. It's strange there was a noticeable difference in the buds on the Pineapple Skunk a couple hours after being under this light.

I was planning on getting LED once we moved down south. However I don't want to go down south as early as we had planned and Top LED came around and good price for good coverage. I was telling my buddy, it only takes a couple zips to pay for it, worth a test in my book.

yup i can tell by observing my plants behavior (reaching for an posturing towards the light) that they very seriously "see" this light and want to get as close to it as they can, more so and faster than ive ever seen plants react to any other form of light except the sun, the science involved with determining what parts of sunlight they use most is really starting to show and pay off in these newer model (gen) lights, i dig the idea that they can create lights that impress the plants rather than humans, in essence delivering very powerful plant lights that save us $ in operation cost, my guess in another generation or 2 they will outperform hid with half as much power hell i may be wrong it may be there already my light draws half as much as a 400watt hps and i dont know what my yield is yet so it remains to be seen for me, i know about what to expect from my 400 for this run ,a few more weeks and i will have an idea, exciting stuff to say the least:thumb:

Woo Hoo...Curso has gone LED!!! Awesome my friend. With everyone on here converting to the LED, I really have to stack my chips and take the plunge soon. Especially with all of my out of town business trips, I would feel so much more comfortable leaving my lights on knowing that I don't have fire hazards waiting to happen with HID. I can't wait to see your future grows with LED Curso! especially with DocBuds soil/brix mix... I read that a better PAR value typically will raise brix levels, so I am excited to see how it effects your plants with the specialized soil. I'm happy for you bro!!!
