Doc has a real cut!!! I'll give the seeds I got this much, they are some really nice plants and they smell fantastic. I got them from BC Bud Depot's web site $125 for a dozen (s1's) (they are $150 (now) after winning la cannabis cup (hybrid) with them) and no freebies, that was fine with me I got COOKIES...lol It did take them a month to get here, they have/had orders of them backed up.

Thanks bro :) The Toxic Blue 33 is from Ch9 Female Seeds and it was a freebie when I ordered the Pineapple Skunk from the tude a while back. The breeder said the same thing about it being well suited for SOG. It sure is giving me a nice cola. I have 2 teens that are getting vegged right now, one will be in there until the first cycle is done, the other 30ish days after that (about 2 months) we'll see what happens :)

This is what I like to hear!! I had a guy I know tell me it was "just okay" . I took that with a grain of salt though, he also thinks it's impossible for me to be growing in soil with no bugs...And...It really all depends on how its grown, what he smoked was probably hydro grown...I have mine in High Brix soil, so I expect a much, much, much better result than "just okay"

yeah dude when i ask people about a strain im growing they seem to know how to get me to look down about it lol.

the oil they made out of this strain is the thickest darkest stuff, like black liquourice with a really dark brown/maybe even purple tint, i cant be sure. my tolerance is definetly not good i must say i quit for a job and they laid me off now im right back at it though.

the girl scout cookies had me in the clouds just about as good as the ICE oil i had at the time, no couch locking effect just wanted to walk all around very uplifting and just really all around nice and long lasting i would say.

the ICE had me very high, not as powerful as some of my other favourites but it was good, only thing it just didn't last but it was good and couch locked me. just better than the cookies i will say because of the couchlock which i love in my bud.

Good strains dont come to me often where i live, you get it.
but when they do come they are the popular ones, I am growing white widow and have never tried it.
someone told me it was a weaker smoke for them which i keep hearing nothing but good things, how do you feel about white widow ? (im taking what he said with a grain of salt.)

I do outdoors and i hardly EVER have a problem with bugs before harvest time,
i buy new soil and i clean and wash my pots before using them. and i treat the soil with an organic pesticide (especially if im going to hand mix.)

I like WW, I haven't grown it but its good smoke. A buddy grew it for a while it produced really nice for him and was great smoke (until I had High Brix, now I'm pretty snobby). Honestly, I think that even the worst mexican brick seeds grown properly have a great chance of being excellent smoke. Again it's all how it's grown.

HashHound has a WW that he loves and grows often said "its the best he's ever had" an elite pheno of it. Hash Hounds Brixperiment with Doc's Kit He grows some nice produce.

Good strains (like clone only strains) don't make it here often either bro...lol I wait for seeds and hope.

I would love to try some of that ICE oil ;)

i was wondering if the look of a plant is based on genetics ? based on phenotype , both ? could two different strains look alike because of phenotype of them ?

could it be the breeding strain used by the seedbank ? (i dont know much about my seeds.) except people like to use the seedbank for seeds,some people even say they swear by these seeds so that makes me happy.

my two strains of WW look different, but one WW looks similar to the orange bud. im quite sure the breeding strain is the same but im so uneducated. sorry to make you adress so many questions.

Don't worry about the topic...My plants are doing well....there on topic...lol

Anyways its based on all of the above, genetics(parents) have a direct effect on the pheno(individual). Seed banks are really just store fronts for the breeders. Kinda like Wmart...they don't make shit they just sell it. You most likely do have 2 different phenos which is kinda cool IMO, you get to pick what one you like best and keep her around. Ask all the questions you want, if I can't answer it, there's someone here that can and most likely will. There is a great group of helpful, knowledgeable people here @ 420 mag that are happy to help.

Never grown a plant longer than needed to smoke, so here goes the questions.

How do i keep her around ? and how long do they really live for ?

Never took cuttings before but could i clone her you mean ? (only my second time buying seeds probably a waste to not clone. might as well learn.)

Also been wondering if theres a limit to how long a plant can flower for ? and if there is what happens to the plant if you leave it too long without harvesting ? (not too long just a few weeks maybe a month late.)
 
You'll want to clone them before they start to flower or you'll have to reveg them (it just takes longer). You'll need a few things there has to be a how to on here somewhere.
I can tell you how I clone... with a clean sharp blade cut a branch, throw it in a glass of water, I then cut it on a bias and shave it almost like a you would a carrot about 1/2 inch of the bottom all the way around, this gives them a ton more surface area to spit roots out of, put it in the cloning gel for about 30 seconds, then into a root riot plug. The plug goes into the tray with 16oz of water, with a seed mat underneath and a humidity dome on top. With Doc's Kit we get a foliar spray called Stress, I spray them daily and have a plug of roots in 5ish days. I also trim 1/2 the large leaves on first node under the top no leaves under, and thats that.

There is really no limit to how long they can flower for, however, there is some timing that you'll want to be aware of. The longer it goes (past ripe) the more the THC starts to breakdown. Some people like a lot of amber trics (I'm guessing you would too) for a more couch lock buzz. Ripe to me is a mixture of clear/milky/amber. Clear=speedy racey buzz, Milky=stoned relaxed, Amber =lazy couch lock. I prefer the clear/milky personally only because I have enough things that make me lazy.

Same with the sour diesel and OGK :) I say this because I know you have them going now and are getting things really dialed in ;) Your Blue Dream looks dreamy I forgot to mention that in your thread, stupid sour diesel breakfast...lol Id love to vape a bud of that BD for breakfast.

im pretty much past the point where i would want to clone, i definetly will be taking clones next grow.

next time around i will buy ALL of the supplies i need before even starting my next round of seeds.

and if they are both female WW which im pretty sure they are, im going to do one amber and one clear/milky,
just so i can compare the difference in flower times when i smoke. and i would hate to just have bud that makes me couch lock, need variety depends on the situation.

I agree!! I love a good daytime smoke and a goodnight smoke too. I have a few different strains going just for that reason :high-five:

I'm going to send the GSC and the Sour Diesel #2 out to be tested once they're done and I'm going to attempt to get a hydro bud of the sour diesel for shits and giggles. Just to see the difference, they're from the same mother so it'll be a fair comparison. I don't want to take the GSC into the local with no information other than "hey man this shit is good" and the sour d is a mainstay. Doc Bud sell's them, they're $75 and it gives you everything you need aside from a 3.8cft bale ProMix HP and some worm poop (15 lbs). Look for his post on the page before this and shoot him a pm. He'll take good care of you. I love the results they're fantastic!!! It's really easy too and the directions are stoner proof.

well you know its been that long cuz the mother that was a month into flower died so i had to wait on clones to veg , then before i got the 4x4 flowering could not keep up, had to veg the gdp mom3+ months due to small flower tent ,now veg cant keep up with flower! much better!:thumb: besides icemud says my journals are a roller coaster ride, lol and i have to agree mr murphy seemes to take special interest in me often! :rofl: between my skitzo mind changing, and mishaps, i gotta say its a grow soap opera to be sure,with cliffhanger elements, lots of deviate sex! (cs spray,transgender masterbation aka self pollination,lesbians aka pollinating reg females with fem pollen,3way love triangles aka cubing,group sex aka 1male in a room of ladies,forced impregnation! b&d aka lst,and master slave stuff aka me telling the ladies who to get jiggy with and when&where, ) if it were ppl it would be a xxx show :rofl: and then theres me wisecrackin' and goofballin' as much as i can, tragic and sudden deaths, exploding bulbs -o-death, i can see why ice says that lol
