Curso's True High Brix!

Man bro, they're pretty nice...I'll make them better the next time. But I have a really good idea for the next time with a pretzel crust. Maybe that'll be next, pretzel crusted individual cheese cakes. Yeah I think I can get behind that. ;)

Out here, salt and sweet is hitting hard. Fleur de Sal Caramel, chocolate pretzel, chocalate dipped, sea salt encrusted pistachios.....these damn wineries are breeding munchy food that takes it to another level altogether. I think the pretzel crust would give a better texture...and with some crunchy pieces of salt...wow!

Mmmm that sugar cookie base looks a lovely shade of ganja green!

Yeah bro they are for sure a good thing. I was a little bit bummed about the green. I like ninja edibles. That's why I think the pretzel crust will be better than the sugar cookie and it'll add a bit of salt, that chocolate is a bit much. The recipe used graham cracker crust and topping that's very smore'ish but more often than not that stuff makes a mess.

Helpful tip...If you know your going to be working with something super sweet like those "smore's" bars it's really not a bad idea to make 1/2 & 1/2 (salted/unsalted) butter. It helps balance that super sweet chocolate and marshmallow. This also gives your edibles that missing "Damn that's good" salt...its a funny thing.

Yeah man salt and sweet...they just belong together.

Here it is..Feel free to steal it...Toasted coconut mixed in caramel on top of the layer of chocolate over the pretzel crust. You can infuse cannabutter into everything. Could even find a way to get Himalayan Salt into it...

I love your chef's approach, Curso. You bring into the grow room too. Super cool.

Very well put Doc. On another note I may just be making a few sacrifices in the next couple of months. After the last few weeks here with Curso's and Shotta's grows I've decided Doc's High Brix is a must!

It's an easy, repeatable method bro. No real guess work. The instructions I'm sure will be much less complicated than they seem with then new set. Honestly it isn't complicated at all. Just follow the yellow brick road for a while. Once you get where you need to go then you can see where the other path takes you ;)

You're 100% right bro.

It's always been funny to me that human beings forget about the "being" part of our existence and become something else like human followings or something along those lines. Maybe cannabis takes the "sheep" out of us. I'm guessing they discovered that depleting all the natural cannaboids we are born with out and illegal means to revive it, turns us into better sheep for everybody.

Here's the urkle poking along...
IMG_59653.JPG

Btw...insanely jealous of your urkle's purpling, just lovely. Hoping my cocoa lady goes purple..fingers crossed.

Also love your leaves praying to the light. I've kooked it a few times with my watering schedule and let them get a bit too dry. I think I've taught myself the correct pot weight before water..should be better from here on out.

While I'm complaining about how my plants not purple like yours, or reaching for the light like yours, I'll add that I'm having a bugger of a time having my flower tent full all the time. It seems like I'm on almost a 2 month veg schedule..but am finding that popping new beans every two months just doesn't cut it. Also doesn't help that I'm plowing through all sorts of unfamiliar strains...with varying flowering times.

Anyway I'm done ranting. Great stuff on your end curso!

Each plant is different bro. I'm plowing through beans too man. It looks to me like the 3 PPP I just threw in are all dudes. Bummer. So I soaked like 6 more...At least I can pick the best of the dudes out of them and have a good dude :)

Watering...there is an art to it. Not even being funny. Finding that happy medium isn't easy to do, but once you find it, it becomes repeatable.

Bro, don't compare you plants to my current ones. Go back 100 pages or so I haven't always been hitting it on the head, I've had a quite a few rim shots. Just remember you continue to dial things in forever, it's small changes that make the differences. I'm always searching for way's to improve with everything I do. My food can always be better, I can always fight better, my plants can be better. As long as you see where you can improve and you make it happen, you're evolving.

Well I hated doing it but the 3 dudes are dead. One will continue, I have a clone of the sativa dom male and the female that is flowering now. I'll be back crossing this strain I really like the way this female is growing and all those dudes were nice plants, the female also smells like fruit punch skunk. I dig that shit. The sativa dom pheno just had a bit more vigor. I'm looking for something a bit faster than the OPP. OPP is really, really nice, I really enjoy it. It's parents just aren't known to yield well so I am trying to add something bigger into the rotation. I got just over 6 off that plant. Good but not a fantastic yield for the amount of time she vegged. So, we'll see how this strain acts being the co star of my flower tent for a while. I only have 2 in there flowering now (tpp will come down sometime really soon). So these should get nice and big with a little bit of spreading out ;)

The dudes got buried in their own soil. I don't think I'll be flowering right as I transplant any more after looking at the root structure of those plants. They didn't really start breaking out of the ball or at least not like I had wanted them to.

I didn't bother with pics, I couldn't be bothered to be reminded that I had to kill some long veg plants. I will however take some of the flowering plants in a few minutes. I'm about to hook them up to be light hogs ;)

Thanks bro..LOL dont bother bro ;) that's the past man...Be part of the present :high-five: Soil just got fed 3 dudes and its about to get all the big leaf I just took. I didnt add anything to this soil. It got a ton of roots in the pot and I didn't give it the usual rest. I'll let that soil eat the plants ;)

Yeah I thought about starting a new thread but decided I will when my soil actually is no longer fit for service. The past 172 pages are a good reference of how my kit grow evolved. All those pages are what got me to where I am right now ;)

You probably wont find any information on my method of recooking until Doc puts out the information in the new set of instructions. I haven't really mentioned my method of doing it in my journal. Just to Doc, testing goes through Doc before the information becomes best practice. Even though it does no harm at all, it was still not in the instructions so I never mentioned it really. I think there is more information on it in Doc's thread than there is in mine. I'm happy to answer questions about it though.
