Cultivator's Return - Multiple Grows

Hola Amigos, todos bien? Here is a picture of the old Alien system room. Its 21 days into flower now. Hand fed and desperately needs a routine prune to remove the sucker branches and excess fan leaves. I didn't take these pics but I will take some tomorrow when I do the prune. Its absolutely full in here now!

I also have the Green Poison that is completely desperate to be potted up and placed under some quality light. They have sat under a 600w mh for far too long as and must get in there final homes. I will get it done this week and get some pics up asap. I really need to get this journal moving along again.

Thanks to everyone who voted for my BLZ in Plant of the Month competition. Would have been nice to see the Plant of the Month win too but thats me just being greedy haha.

Anyway I will be donating the Magical butter machine if anyone wants it, pref in states to save on shipping cost but I will have it posted anywhere. There may be costs involved with shipping and taxes to pay on delivery to the person that wants it and they will be responsible for that. I already have one of these devices so I don't need another, someone else may as well enjoy it.

Also the item runs on 110v so if someone outside of America wanted it they would have to get a 110-240v transformer to use it.

Sorry I haven't got an update done today, ive been feeling shit so I didn't get out do jobs and I had to send my apprentice. I will get a nice update done tomorrow when im feeling better.

Thanks again to those who voted for me in the comps. For those who are unaware there are competitions every month for best bud, plant, member of the month and photo of the month. Get over to the entertainment section and join in, add your pics and have a go at winning prizes and getting the kudos of a title by your name. If you don't want to compete for fun make sure you are getting your votes in each month. Its just a bit of fun and to be enjoyed and not taken too seriously......

Busy day today....

So I have been and potted up my Green poison. They have been on a slow veg the past 2 weeks as ive been mega busy and just haven't had the time to tend to them. I mean they have been fed and had adequate light but really they should have been potted up a while ago and been ready to flip. I have set up 3x 1.2x2.4x2m tents, they will hold 8 plants each. and I will put 3 600w hps in each tent. I have 1 600w MH in each tent at the moment as I have no extraction set up but I will get the other lights up and carbon filters in each test and I will likely use 1 2000cfm fan for 2 tents and 1 780-1000cfm fan for the single tent. This will manage temps but will also ensure great airflow and co2 through the plants. I could put 10plants per tent, I have 40 green poison and 4 skunk no1 but I will have to give the excess away or bin them because I don't want plants competing for light.

I potted them into 25litre square plastic pots. I like to use fabric pots but I couldnt get hold of any in time so plastic it is. I put a layer of pebble 3inches or so deep on the bottom, then filled with coco and added great white mycorrhizae to the coco directly, sprinkling it in about half way in pot then again the hole where the transplanted plant was to go.

I then pruned up the plants and bent them or LST as its called. I will keep top of them now and encourage bushy plants to grow. These are recommended 7 week flowering time. But I will take them to 8 most likely unless they truly do finish in 7.

I then went and pruned up my BLZ bud in the 9 light room. I got 2/3rds of it done then got fed up and wanted to come home. They are 22days into flower and look ok. They are way smaller than the last round which I don't mind. It was difficult working with 7ft tall plants. They are around 5ft now which is perfect and doesn't look like they will get too much taller. I was really expecting huge plants with them being clones of the last bunch but they are not so big, although the flowering traits are exactly the same as you would expect. Heres a few pics anyway. They aren't the best pictures but I will get some better pics tomorrow when all pruning is done.

Cult Canada just legalized. Grats on the notm win! I had a bit to catch up on but the plants look good.... no surprise there. I'd be down for the podcast or you ltube just be sure to share a link and info.

I'd Maybe try and start with the basics and square one. I know maybe a lot of us are familiar with that stuff, but I love how you always preach light and airflow. It's really the most important. So maybe environment. Or how to assemble a grow space. Ideal temps for plants and roots. Distance you keep the lights in veg vs. Flower. Introduction to nutrients and why and how the plant uses them.

Wait maybe that could be episode 2. I think the first should be your journey as a grower, like, how when did you start. How the laws and perception of cannabis has evolved. The strains and nutrients. And what are things that have NOT changed. When did you find your idea feed schedule. Explain why you use hps and coco. Why coco works so well for you etc.

Just my 2 cents. Glad to hear you have more access to the internet. Loom forward to more frosty goodness.

Some nice ideas there. maybe you should just write the schedule and I will do the talking haha. Im def going to do it asap, I just have an issue with my accent when I speak. I know people will find it difficult to understand me ands im a little apprehensive about showing my face. But if we don't strive to come out and make change nothing will. The main issue is that I have a lengthy criminal record from when I was young and although the only convictions I have are for weed in the past 10 years, shit sticks as they say. I look like a bit of a nutter in real life and I don't want people to judge before they even hear me out if that makes sense? Of course the 420 members know of me so that is a group that won't judge so much but I don't have the squeaky clean image that would be better pressed to spread the word, I could be discredited by law enforcement quite easily. I have spent a long time learning my craft and yes I done it for profit in the beginning but now its different, although stressful I love my job and meeting new growers and exchanging ideas and now helping others with my concentrates.

I will absolutely start a podcast or something like that real soon, I guess its just nerve racking making the first move and all though I can talk for days I don't want to ramble or get off topic, I want to try make it respectable as possible. So leave it with me but im def working on it. It be great if I had with production of the channel as im useless creatively and terrible with technology.

Don't worry bout people judging you, thats ridiculous, your one of the few at the top of the underground movement still, the daily mail slammed big buddha for flooding the uk with "hallucagenic skunk starter packs" didnt stop him. The people who are gonna judge you are those sort of people , so who cares. Regarding your accent, cherel crow... im sure their are some other northerners big in usa.... I can always write up subtitles for ya haha ;)

haha its Cheryl Cole hahaha.

My accent is alot stronger than hers and different but I have learned to take the edge off it with travelling and living in different in diff European countries, The issue is I fucking hate the sound of my voice haha.

I think I could build a cool youtube channel though with podcasts. I listen to several podcasts and I got some good do's and dont's. It would also be cool if I could earn a little income from it but its not a deal breaker. I did start a channel about 5 years ago and had some great vids on there that I kept private and I got paranoid and blocked myself from the site. Now I can't access it because I forgot password and the email account no longer exists I have an Instagram account with lots of cool stuff on (at least I think its cool lol). but I only have like 150 followers. So either people think my content is shite or im just useless at marketing haha, probs a little of both.

Anyway im for sure going to build some content, I just want to make sure when I do that its quality with lots of info but entertaining at the same time.

Buds look hench for 22 days
You ever seen a plant 8 weeks in without a single brown hair me mates got some plants growing strange I fort
Mate your accent ain’t actually that bad ya sound quite calm voiced. to be fair id be more worried about ya identity than ya voice I’m sure you’ll come up with some good idea

I have seen that mate, ive seen it quite a few times actually mate. Just keep it going.

So Ive just had a bit of an idea. im thinking I maybe go to some grows and video it, maybe interview some growers and look around their grows. Just start with small rooms and tents as predominantly thats what most people do right? Therefore it translates to the viewer better. So im thinking like maybe 1 hour show to begin with and in that hour I video grow and maybe interview people then I do maybe 30mins live. The reason for this is that I can video the grow from a device that doesn't track location, I don't want to ruin peoples grows when they kindly open their door to me. id record it on a digital cam corder or GoPro or something then upload it and after the video I do a live section where I discus parts of the grow, maybe do a Q&A?

How does that sound to start? I have to do it safely man, I don't want anyone going to prison or being robbed. I was also thinking if anyone on 420 has a journal and they want to do a vid with me I could come to them, video the set up, chat and they can be on or off camera then again I do some sort of Q&A and a tutorial? Would anyone even be suggestible to something like that as it would take a huge amount of trust on both parties? By doin this we start breaking down barriers and stereo types of growers being long haired hippies are ski masked men with guns.

Recently ive been promoting oil and in just 3 weeks ive had so many people inbox me about oil, mostly because people are hearing about CBD and want to take it and have zero idea where to start. Often being ripped off from buying shitty inferior oil thats is labelled as 100%. CBD. I want to try and inform people about CBD because if people take it thinking it will help and its mainly olive oil they won't get much of anything and pay out fortunes in the mean time. I won't charge people for it for profit if they are genuinely ill. OH YOU HAVE LIVER CANCER? GIVE ME 4500£ for 3 months treatment! No I can't do that, I give it for the cost of making it as I can't afford to give it away for free when its made from premium flower and not just waste material. So many people in the UK and Spain make terrible oil and bulk it up with other oils, my oil is the only oil ive seen on the streets thats had any care put into it, because I do care! Thats not to say there isn't good oils, its just what ive seen in the area I am at. I have a trust base, people follow me for this reason. I wonder how many people follow these journals? probs not too many, especially when you consider the power of Instagram and Facebook just even for run of the mill accounts.

I was thinking of adding like a donation thing to the channel and then instead of using that money to go on hols and stuff, to use it to make and provide oil for free to those who really need it. I have ideas bouncing everywhere. I'm interested in all feedback but remember its only going to be an hour or so once per week to begin with. I wonder what time suit every one for the live show, baring in mind the fact that we all in diff time zones, suggestions please....

Thanks everyone...

I think the idea for the hour is great, I would def be interested in seeing a variety of grows in different styles and abilities. thats why most of us r on forum, the ideal set up is generally unobtainable for the average waged person so I think your on the right track showing how those on a smaller budget or set up can get great results.

I have a degree in PR and as a musician I know all to well bout the issues of online promotion. The most important thing is the content. The live thing is unlikely going to be as popular as the views that come after, in my experience. For example my friend a music producer has 50,000+ followers on her music account, she has 100,000k+ on facebwank. She gets £250 a month just from a company using her fbk for targeted advertising. Plus a smaller amount from youtube and royalties from streams. So she makes a small amount from all her online stuff even though she is a world famous dj. She does a live show online and gets between 100 - 500 viewers peak time... but a week later the live stream has 50,000+ plays.
If your tube or whatever you choose to put it on gets popular the videos will pay for themselves at least.
If you did it on something like twitch tv you could have people donating to you live as you run the stream. Pro gamers make like €300k a year streaming themselves playing games, I wonder how much you could make doing live gardening :)

Regarding the oil my friends in UK have a similar deal where someone who needs it for medical reason sponsers/pays them to grow x amount of premium herb, everything is covered and any excess means they can do the close circle of non patients reduced price bud n oil. Win win situation. There's a big difference between earning a living and being greedy, when it comes to medical use I think.

Interesting points that I will take on board. I make good living from gardening already and I not trying to make more. I do give a lot back and help a lot of people out. But just be good to bring in some revenue to cover costs of travel or whatever when doing videos on location and covering the cost of equipment I will need. Either way I will have something up and running soon, a pilot if you like. I will do a few shows and see where it goes. No pressure ;)
