Cultivator's Return - Multiple Grows

Thanks Terp im managing to use desktop mode which i much prefer as its what ive always used and know my way around the forum using that.

And welcome to everyone.

So heres a few pics of some different grows....

These first pics are if an alien flood and drain set up, 24 plants under 6 lights and its really not great. Now i will say this, its always a bonus to get any weed at all considering there are many obstacles than can mean there is no weed at the end of a grow so im alwYs grateful foe something. However..... there were teething problems with the setbup, even though ive done many grows using this set up and find it rather simple to do, i often make the assumption thay others would find it easy also. I guess thats not the case. Now im not bitching about the help on this one as he is completely brand new and has never grown before so i can only blame myself for the wway the room is set up and the product t is there. The strain is GG#4 and quality wise it isnt bad. We are at week 6 of flower. I think theres def 3 weeks left on this one. So i will get this finished then i will rebuild and modify the room. So you will see it now and then in a few weeks and it will be night and day....

Now we have some Amnesia Haze hybrid that i have in Spain. There arw 16 clones here. Again there were issues here, i just love drama as you will see lol. My partner grabbed the clones and put them.under a 600w hps and a 300w 64k cfl. Nothing wrong with that, apart from she never checked them foe bigs and they were covered in spidermite.... so they have been treated with killermite and i am sending over some plant vitality next week which should deal with the prob. Its a pain really because it means my place is now contaminted but i just have to deal with it now. I have a friend who i work with from time to time who has just moved to spain to enjoy the good life and he will go pull those plants around for me until i get back at the end of the month.

The plants have been stripped back and bent to start some lst training. These get real tall so need to get them wide and low. I had a great result with these earlier in the year so hopefully i can replicate that. Its just a small grow where i will pull 2 ir 3 kgs. But its nice to have some quality weed around for when friends and family come over. Anyway its early days but heres the pics....

I'm in, to further my coco knowledge. I'm going to hang with my buddy TerpKing, he has the Holy Grail !!
We can hang out here together bro and soak up all cults good knowledge, got a feeling this journal is going to be a real gooden. Especially with the video updates, loving those! Got to love that grail .

I hope you don't mind cult I'm here to learn from the unfortunate side of things and how to get problems solved god knows I've had a few lately lol

Hey everyone.

So ive potted the seeds up today. 40 blzbud, 10 kings banner and 12 huckleberry (there was 2 extra in the pack).

I potted 24 blzbud into 60/40 mix and tbe rest into straight coco. Im expecting to lose a few even though tbey all germinated. I have pics to follow but i had potted all the seeds apart from the hucklèberry when it dawned on me that i should have took pics of all yhe strains, nevermind. The problem i haven is that i forgot to get jiffy pellets for the seeds so ive transplanted straight into the coco. This isnt ideal and i may lose 1 or 2 this way as its a little harder on the seedlings.

In the pics you will see that i have covered the pots. I basically put the seeds in the coco and cover witj damp kitchen towel and black plastic bin bags. This will raise humidity, stop light getting in and keep coco warm. I dont want any light on the seedlings yet as i want them to force the tap root to continue growing. Then after 24-48 hours i will remove the cover and the seedlings should be standing tall with shell removed. Then i will place the lights over them.

I see terp made it. Starting to get a great group of growers here!! Jus learned something else. Man this is gonna b epic. Looking great Cult as always!!

No worries mate.

Sonive taken the towels and bags off the pots and they are all standing up bar 2. But i think they will come through. Its too cold in the room so i will need to place a heater in there on monday. I have no central heating in this location and it wlreally does get cold. I will put a small heater in and onece seedljngs get bigger i will use mh bulbs so that will being rooms up to temp. Im hoping now that i have 100% germination rate but we will see in a couple days.

Heres a few pics of the seedlings. As i said in tbe previous post its pretty cold in the room so they are responding slowly but its no big deal. I will remedy that today. As you can see the room is a bit micky mouse and needs set up correctly. I will also sort that out today.

I got almost 100% germination. I lost one seed which could be down to a dud seed. There was 62 seeds germinated and 61 made it, so as you can see this method of germination is highly effective and guarantees results. I find that this way of germinating is by far the best having trialed and errored over thousands and thousands of plants grown. There are many ways to germinate just like everything else with growing but i guarantee this germination method will give you results. Remember everything i show is tried and tested many times over and its not copied and pasted out of a text book. I had a discussion with someone on saturday who told me the way i grow in coco is wrong, he basically said he had read that it should always be wet and never be allowed to dry out. So this coming from someone who is on his 3rd grow and has grown 6 plants in total. Hes read books and info on line. He didnt even mean any harm by it and i know the guy well but my point is its better to follow and learn from people with real experience and not just sat and scrolled through google. In the real world things work differently. Just like i was told more than once that i should never handle seeds with my hands. I always pick them up with my fingers to transplant, just make sure your hands are clean and that you arent too heavy handed and they be fine.

I dont know how i managed it but ive transplanted to seeds i to one pot here. I will split them up in a week or so and give them their own pots.

Now heres a few pictures from a flood and drain set up thats at sgart of week 7 of flower today. They really arent great and the room is a mess but i will strip the room and rebuild it when these come out. I will also build another room in this spot during the week and i will show you all thats as it is done. Then next week i have another 2 rooms to build. So its all stations go at the moment. Everything will be grown in coco from now on and i will put coco in the flood and drain set up too.

Some nice shaven legs there! .I too have man handled sprouting seedlings and never had a problem, also I've had my coco dry out and shrink while I was away but watered and all was fine not saying you should let it dry that much but I noticed no damage .

I have a space with blue kripple in mate bit it will tbe last grow with it. Everyone is complaining that its too strong! They say they cant function when they smoke it lol. Thats a first for me. Im transitioning more towards the haze crosses and the really nice indicas. Now im using seed banks that only have a couple of strains because im finding its better geneticsm alot of the bigger named companies arw producing shitty seeds. Ive seen a massive increase in hermies the past few years and with the fems i also see alot of weak plants. It never used to be loke that mate. At one time even the fems used to be really consistant with quality and numbers but now they so hit and miss im trying to swerve them altogether.

The plan is to go back to making some nice healthy mothers from regs and taking the guess work out of it. Im hoping these Kings Banner and Huckleberry will be the start of the new Indica mothers and then i could do with maybe 2 more kush mothers and 2 or 3 nice sativa cross mothers that are haze dominant. The indicas will be for the UK market and the Sativas for the European market.

To strong hey ya need to neglect ya plants more lol
I grew some San Fernando lemon lush recently An the quality of that strain is great everyone said it the best they've had in yrs weird tho I had it growing in seperate locations An one place grew nice shaped heavy buds and the other location they was the worst looking plants in the room
Do ya still run the easyfeed system I was so hoping that was gonna be a game changer
