Highya Krissi,
So glad you have oil! Also glad your girls are fine! And that they are!! Great work!
I'm doing my best, that's all I can do!
Beautiful time!! Wasn't it!
Oh my gosh, yes!
What's funny about this - I was the most forgetful kid in school, I think. I have a history of forgetfulness. I just find a way to deal with it, like all things.
Hahahahaha he said he thinks he was the most forgetful kid in school! Hahaha what did you forget Bode? Oh I needed this laugh this morning! Thank you!!
That's an interesting statement! I like it here better than all places I've lived. If you're ever on the move, I'd certainly help where I could.
I have Google searches for Maine land and properties for sale. We aren't going anywhere for probably 20 years but I have a plan in my head of what I want. I need access to water and fish, enough land for a couple greenhouses and some farming, maybe even some basic animals-chickens and the like?
I could tell you stories about trying! At least you know the end at the beginning.
I still like to hear those stories!
You seem to have a very strong spirit within you! I don't see that in real life, anymore. Sad. However, I have lived by that code to get back up, no matter what!
I've told you, I've been here many times. My soul is a big force cause it's old and it's done this shit ten times over.
Probably scared you with the length of this entry. I should go now, so Happy Smokin'
Absolutely not! NEVER!!! MUCH LOVE ALWAYS TO ALL YOUR LONG POSTS!
Oh what memories. I haven’t had oil heat since I was a kid but I remember those 5 gallon cans of diesel to do the hold over for the oil deliver truck.
Sucks right?! I had a friend of mine who had oil heat a few years ago and I was like oil heat, wtf. Then we moved here and low and behold, oil heat!!!! TK wants to run a gas line and flip the house over, only thing I do like is the smell when it comes on-almost like a fireplace.
Thanks Krissi for taking the time to explain your top and a lollipop.
I don't think I explained it all that well but I'm glad you caught the gist of what I was putting out there!
Top and a lollipop, that should be the unofficial name of this trimming method you are using.
Oooh I like it the T&L method!!!
For comparisons sake, my grow was LST'd and I have 11 colas so it makes me wonder if it's worth all the sticks and time. Great journal, thanks for sharing!
It's what amassed on those colas that makes the difference. I'd rather have 8 stacked colas than 11 ones with larf on them and stuff. I think we all would, right? I'm happy to share, more than happy to share, what I do. I'm still learning and growing and I would love nothing more than to have others grow with me. This is why I do what I do! Anytime Gid!
So today friends is
Days 79/80, Day 21 Flower! Wow, how did we get to Week 3 Flower already! Crazy!
Our
focal plant of the day is our
@Weed Seeds Express Sirius Black, Falkor!
Falkor is my second run of this pure Indica strain. She is berry and sweet and sticky icky icky. Her sugar is coming in strong now, expect to see this become even more snow like soon-my last Sirius Black in Onyx was a caked wonder. If you look closely on some leaves, we already have some purple coming through. Last plant was purple, yellow, pink and various green hues. It was brilliant, I'm so excited!
Her only ailment as of now is some CMAG spots on a bottom leafed branch
ABOUT THE MYSTERIOUS SIRIUS BLACK STRAIN
*A growing operation calling themselves the Oregon Breeders Group has taken responsibility for this strain, claiming that it was originally conceived in Portland in the 1980s under the auspices of the so-called Sirius Black Project; Oregon Breeders Group has not revealed Sirius Black’s genetics, though. Whatever the truth of its origins, this fragrant strain has serious bag appeal and an enduring body high to boot. Its THC content has been measured at between 15% and 25%.
*NO ONE REALLY KNOWS ITS BACKGROUND
THE BUDS
*Genuine-article buds of the strain are medium to large in size and adhere in tapered, pinecone-like formations. They maintain a characteristically indica structure, with small leaves that curl tightly inward toward their central stems.
*The leaves themselves are a deep, uniform purple, almost indigo, with very few traces of green. The unusual shade is due to a very high concentration of pigments called anthocyanins. Finally, yellowish pistils and cloudy, translucent trichomes cover all visible surfaces of these stunning flowers.
SMELLS/TASTES
*Sirius Black has a predominantly sweet aroma with fruity overtones. Notes of grape and berry mingle with an underlying woodsy scent, giving the overall impression of potpourri.
*Grinding up these buds intensifies their earthy tang. Sirius Black gives off a very smooth and easily ingested smoke when burnt in a pipe or a joint. This thick smoke tastes floral and fruity on the exhale.
SMOKING SIRIUS BLACK AND ITS EFFECTS
*Smokers may have to wait a while between ingesting this delicious smoke and feeling its heady effects. Within at least 10 minutes, Sirius Black reveals its presence with some increased blood pressure in the head, resulting in some twitching in the temples or flushing in the cheeks. As these odd tics subside, users may notice some surreal changes in their sensory perception, including auditory and visual distortions like a flattening of depth perception.
*Paired with a favorite playlist, this trippy mood provides a great backdrop for hanging out with some like-minded friends. And indeed, Sirius Black's subtle mental stimulation can encourage free-flowing conversation in social settings, whether you’re with old pals or new acquaintances. Aside from this kind of chatty energy, though, the strain tends not to have the cerebral intensity of some more sativa-inflected varieties.
*As time passes -- or as dosage is increased -- Sirius Black’s indica side becomes more and more apparent, with progressive waves of relaxation rolling through the core and limbs.
*Smokers who may have been active or standing might find themselves making a rush for the closest couch- In the right setting intractable couchlock is certainly possible, as is drowsiness. Because of its mostly slow-moving vibes, Sirius Black is recommended for evening and nighttime consumption.
SIRIUS BLACK MEDICAL APPLICATIONS
Sirius Black’s relaxing properties can have some applications for medical cannabis patients as well.
*The strain’s ability to relax the body and turn down the volume on internal monologues can temporarily soothe the symptoms of stress, depression, anxiety, and even PTSD. Meanwhile, its body high can eliminate aches and pains, whether they’re temporary, as due to injury, or chronic, as due to conditions like arthritis or fibromyalgia.
*In the right circumstances, Sirius Black can even be an antidote to insomnia, lulling consumers into a deep, restful sleep. Because it is not likely to bring about any intense, recursive patterns of thinking, this strain is a good option for patients who are prone to panic or paranoia.
THC NOTES
-Highest noted THC on this strain was 35%
-Lowest noted THC on this strain was 23%
-Average tested THC on this strain is 25%
That's all for today folks! Happy growing!
