Update Day 4 Flower

First I’d like to summarize my customer service experience with our great sponsor @LEDRF and his Perfect Sun LEDs. So Neil was very supportive every step of the way in diagnosing the issues that the light was displaying. The outer bank of leds seemed to have a failed driver or an over-voltage situation. We were unable to correct the issue so at his expense I shipped the light back to him and he sent me a brand new light. I’m happy to report that after a week of stress testing it is working flawlessly and has been put back in service just in time for flowering.
For now the PS Max Yield is running full tilt and the HPS is running at 600w. I can run the HPS at 1000 watts at the same time but it gets really hot and running the ac when it’s 50 degrees in the garage seems wrong lol.
The Max Yield completely washes the HPS spectrum out to my eyes even with the HPS at 1000watts. For now they are side by side in the left side of the 4x8.
Figured we should have some proper photos for the official first week of flower. Temps locally have been uncharacteristic for my region and as a result the plants are seeing 67-68F nighttime and up to 80F during the day. Keep in mind my daytime in the tent is actually from 4pm to 4 am.

Without further ado:

Dutch Passion Blueberry

Dutch Passion Durban Poison

Bedroom Cookies 2.1 ( cutting from BC2)

Here’s a couple full tent shots:

So, Bedroom Cookies Mom and Aunt (BC2 and BC1) weren’t featured but they’re looking great and got a drink today. I hope they don’t get pissed about their 3 gallon soft pots they’re in. If so...tough Cookies :cheesygrinsmiley::cheesygrinsmiley:
They only get plain RO water and I’m not ph’ing the water.

I think I mentioned when I flipped that I added recharge and a couple handfuls to the three plants in DBHBB soil.
Blueberry and Durban got a drench of GI and Tea on flip day where as BC 2.1 wasn’t thirsty at the time. Today she got her GI drench w/Tea. Next drink will be RO w/Tea for all three.
I can tell we’re gonna be going through some water, these plants can drink and they aren’t even coughing full steam yet.

I like having the Durban in there as a preview of things to come! Lovely color and congrats on getting the light back, along with some great customer service.
:slide:
Yeah hey it’s nice to have a look into the future a bit. I’m stumped on what week it’s in but we’re calling it week one for all of em’

Blueberry and Durban are 8-9 week varieties and I think BC is the typical 8 week. I could check Penny’s journal when he ran it but eh it’s done when it’s done ya know?!:high-five:

I was doing that thing you do sometimes...just watching em grow there in the tent as I puffed my j. :blunt:Thought to myself, Duggan was right this Durban is very sativa leaning pheno which is great! I hope the cuts I took make it. I decided to try a different method with these. Just took cuts, trimmed, clones rooting gel, Mykos rooting powder, and into solos with only promix.
They have since been hardened off from the humidity dome and they look great but I can’t look to see if there are roots! Doh! Double the frustration as if they do root, they still have to reveg. That makes it hard to tell if they are growing too.
Nevertheless, this will be a fun experiment.

No clear plastic cups? Either way you should know they're growing when they don't wilt when you de-dome them. Did you take lowers that were less in flower or aren't there any less in flower? Tell me tomorrow...I'm going to bed :).
Yea sure did take em’ from down low as I was taking some of the lower growth that wasn’t gonna make it very high.
If I take the dome off they don’t flinch, but I’ve only left them alone for an hour or so. They must be rooting
Edit: I forgot to mention I looked for clear solos but couldn’t find them locally. I guess I could try the Party Store or something. For now, I put the cup inside another cup to help block out light.

I took the on February 5th.So about 8 days. The dome has been off for 5 hours today and no drooping, the leaves havent cannabalized themselves either. Sounds like a winner maybe?

Here’s the cuts. An experiment of course, but if one roots I’ll be keeping it.

Update Day 7 Flower
Not much to report other than the rain has give my humidifier a nice break and I was able to clean the reservoir. That’s always nice. Aside from that early bloom in Archie’s garden tonight. The sativa in the room is done stretching, everything else are indica dominant hybrids so they might not stretch too much. Right now the Durban is a good 6-8” taller than everything else.

Looking good Archie! :high-five:
Thanks Ween! I’m getting excited thinking about the next couple weeks. I’m always pumped to see what kind of flowers the plants produce ya know?
I hope you kept the river at bay! Good day for cleaning :thumb:
Dude! I was like bailing water from my patio with a shop vacuum! Insane. How’d you fare?
Yeah looking great Archi - that’s quite a family you have going there :yummy::yummy::yummy:
Thanks AG! Yes mam they’re all really happy though one of the Bedroom Cookie moms, BC2, is showing fade at the top of the plant. She’s not in docs soil, which is my primary focus of course, but I’d still like to have her make it through flower.
Don’t tell BC2.1 or @InTheShed ’s BC 2.2, but I like BC1’s structure a little better. It’s very short and compact, with small indica leaves. That’s a bit of an contradiction yeah? Penny and RichFarmer(formerly BedroomFarmer) have said there is a purple pheno so hopefully it’s BC1 cause I could grow 10 of her and she wouldn’t ask for anything cause she’s so polite and easy to please :thumb:
Cheers AG!
