Sorry man. Your logic is correct to remove what would otherwise become spindly bud that's only good for the trim pile, but this should be addressed in veg, or after the stretch in bloom. TBH, it's really best to do it in veg if you're growing photo stock, but as Old Timingman was getting at, stressful events in bloom can have adverse effects. FWIW, the sample I removed from my Bubblegum who is currently in flush had a seed in the first nug I ground up, so looks like we both have some bad news to deal with. At least you're still in the realm of possibility. If you don't have beneficials, I suggest getting some. That stuff really an apology elixir. I've seen that stuff make some pretty traumatic abuse be equaled to a grain of salt. A grower can never go wrong with a very happy root zone! CO2 in the canopy also might help.
