Critical 47

Found a use for the clothes thingy that was in the attic. Measured the distance from the light to the plants. Mostly close enough.

Good thinking Jiggi. 🍋

I wanted to say that so far my experience has been a good time. I'm still getting the hang of the 4 stages of the MJ plant and the feeding schedule. I realized today that I wasn't doing the fertilizer chart properly. I wasn't way off just wasn't doing them the right way. 🙃
So I'll continue to feed everyone the way the schedule reads from here on out, minus the nutrients I don't have..(yet). I made notes this time so I know who got what an when. Thank God plants are so forgiving within reason.

I've been topping all the little growths under the Channel, and leaving the top alone. I wanna see what happens 😇
And I slightly topped the Thia at 2 nodes, I should have waited longer probably, so I got her 4 branches tied down, the 2 main are free and I'm just letting the tops grow upwards from the branches held down. It reminds me of a carousel.. I don't know why.. it just does.

Slightly topped? The French used to 'slightly top' peasants before the Revolution c1799 lol

Yesterday I put a couple of scoops of used coffee grounds into a apple juice (2 L) container and let it sit overnight. Filtered the contents into a gallon jug, used one them little garden seed bags as a filter. Diluted the remaining part with water. Gave everyone a cup+ or such of the coffee water. They perked up 😊

Also, wild Thia has white pistols forming in the nodes and tips. I snipped her too soon, I didn't know how to count nodes when she was little. Ha! Operator error! Friendly fire. It's all good though, she's still a highlight of my day. theres thunderclouds rolling in, gotta enjoy this nice weather before the cold rainy weekend

She has reached the light twice now making me pull out the ladder in order to raise the lamp. I'm using a Kings LED 1000w with dimmer switch. Makes it a lot more easier to adjust the DLI and all that. I turn the lights on between 4-5am. Lights go off between 12pm-1am. I adjust the lights from 30% to 80% gradually through the day and back down to simulate the sun. Which is probably useless considering she's an auto. 🤔 Oh well.

Sativa's are definitely on the fluffy side! So to prevent staleness, molding and circulation I simply turn on the ceiling fan. As well as open the kitchen window and the screen door window. When the weather permits it.

So I want to tell you, don't use burlap sack to line your containers with. Idk I guess I thought it was gonna help the roots and whatever else... No. It really doesn't. It's used for winterizing and to dumb down and kill weeds. 😐

In my case, it's simply giving the gnat overlords and their kin a place to hide from the @Sierra Natural Science 209/203. 😆

I had a really nice report for you all but I pressed the wrong command and erased the entire doc. ... Damn fat little fingertips. Next time 😉
