I see in your pics that you have the LED about 12 to 18 inches over them. How close do you think they will get to the light? Or what is the closest you can run those LED's?

I asked because I have a small space and current plants are about 9 inches from the CFL's. I estimate another 3 inches of growth. So mine would be 6 inches from the CFL's. I am guessing this will be to close for LED's. But if these are:
Panel switched to full flowering mode, 56 Watt.

Scar you can almost put leds right on the plant very low heat. 2 inches from the light and barley feel heat
 
Are those pure flower LEDs in bottom chamber seem real red to me?

I don't have Led's personally but I have read that you really don't want them very close to the top of the plants because of the UVs emitted. some folks I know here keep theirs 18' or more above the top for that reason.
but like I said I don't have any personal experience with them.

Maybe some of the newwer 5 volt LED lights but I know the 2 main panels of mine the guy I bought off of had 15 grow journals breaking down how he designed and tested his light. His light does a lot of touching the plants when they stretch. So it might be light design that determines how close they can be. I know with my light have seen no ill effect from light being really close. Remember the top chamber ran it's LED at one time about 2 inches from my plants with no harm and they were seedling at the time.

Yea flower switch was on too as I was switching today or last night did not want to mess with the switch but the light does have 3 settings flower mother seedling almost like having a high med and low.
 
Day 1 Flower 44 from start

Nothing really new the Tahoe and Maui Waui still slight drop not sure if that is new light adjust or I watered too and phed down a little and added superthrive so not sure if that is the cause. Either way nothing scary at this time. They looked good this morning. Last night set the timer for 12/12 they run 8 pm to 8 am. I figure this was best timing as it runs the lights during the coolest part of the day.

I still got that little one that will not grow so now it is a experiment as it will be on 12/12 too. I also started another Maui Waui to run 12/12 from seed to see what I get

I always look at it as a cloudy day when I take them out during watering. Mine are out of direct like for 5 to 10 minutes every 2 or 3 days.

Day 1 flower 44 from seed


Nothing new they spent well over 12 hours in dark yesterday. The light is on like a 11.5/12.5 schedule. Mechanical timers have there limits on nail perfect timing


They are still little droppy but nothing of concern just yet. The seed has not popped yet and the world smallest pop plant is green and looks to maybe have another set of leaves.

Dam it and again I forgot to process the photos so will post later
