Crawdaddy's 4'X4' Grow Tents w/Mars II 240X5W LED

Nice grow mate, I have same size tent & also running mars 1200, got 4 girls in coco 5 weeks in veg, how high from the tops do you have your light?

Thank you and yea I like this setup good size light for tent size IMO.

Well, anywhere from about 36" to 20-24". The Hawaiian Snow(front right) is so much taller, and the Brainstorm(front left) too but not as tall as the HS. Where you keeping yours now?

Here I will try and take pic...if you look close there are two pieces of duct tape on back wall. lower one is 36" from light, higher one is 24". As you can see the Hawaiian Snow in front right is way taller.

I may raise it another 6-10", but i would have to re engineer how I hang it.

you have journal going would love to see? I have too many plants 4 would be better, or one giant :)

Really dig what you're doing :bravo:

If I may ask a question about the Mars II 1200 unit, did you get the regular version or did you opt for the flower or veg spectrum options they have available?

Thanks for showcasing the tech and keep on killin it!

I have a smaller tent with a 400w led that I vegged for 4 weeks at around 28- 30" from the plants. They were getting really bushy but slow vertical growth so I put them in the bigger tent under the 1200w a couple of days ago & set the light at around 38" to get some stretch, which is now starting. Will prolly give them another week or 2 & flip. I got 4 in 30 litre pots in Coco, so if I can keep them healthy I think I will have a full groom with some big girls. I have taped a bit of string under the light at 24", so I can tell we're there at from the light. I also had some temp issues, it's summer here in OZ & I was venting into air con room tents are set up in but to hot so had to poke a hole in the ceiling & exhaust hot air, hung light as high as possible & added a 6" intake, all sorted, this week temps are ok but humidity is over 70, bloody weather changes here by the day. Start a journal, where do u guys find the time, my better half already gets pissed that I spend more time with the girls than I do with her. Having said that I love this site & have learned so much just lurking around, but would love to put up a few pics of my set up & get some tips on how to get the best from my grow.
Keep the good info & pics coming brother, keeps me inspired

Glad you did find a way to get temps under control. Is the humidity higher in tent then the normal air?

It still winter here, so not sure how I going to deal with temps in summer. May have to buy AC unit for this room, or have an exhaust into attic at minimum, but that would involve hole in ceiling.

Glad I can help!

an ac may help bring the humidity down with the temps Glen or just a dehumidifier

Happy Shatterday Crawdad

Same to you Chronic, hope your weekend is going well :high-five:

Res change on the Hawaiian Snow today, she is having burned tips so made the fert solution half strength on feeding schedule.

Going to have to find way to prop her up, cause in corner of tent growing at an angle.

My Hawaiian snow stretched sand stretched I was digging it when I threw her in to flower she was the runt of my Hawaiian snows. But she is going to finish nice has 20 days left she just takes so long at 12 weeks my longest variety hands down.

She's looking great at Crawdaddy, nice root system. ;)

Thank You, Yea i love being able to see roots, one plus of hydro:)

I think there are some major differences in phenos in this strain. This big plant mother finished in about 62 days, smoking now and it was done. But then, like you, Greytail grew it and it went 100+ days in flower. Plus I have 3 babies, pictures in my other active journal, of 3 just into flower plants from 3 different HS seeds and they all have a different look.

Generally humidity is around 5 degree higher in the tent, it's sitting around 65 in the room 70 in the tent. It's been raining last couple of days & still around 27 degrees out side. This is a prob cause I want to flip so might be looking at dehumidifier ,

Sounds like you live in the tropics, what about growing outside?
