Crawdaddy's 2014 Summer Outdoor Season

Very nice video. Very nice machine. I'm going to look to see if they have a similar machine without remote or stealth potpourri!

What happens if you can't inhale the whole bag? Does it go to waste and how many bags does that amount of weed make?

Your not supposed to inhale the whole bag in one puff

I started using the whip for that reason, it is much more leisurely IMO. But it's nice to have the option :)

With the amount of herb that can be packed into the cyclone bowl, and depending on which fan speed one is using, approximately 3 bags can be filled up. The first extraction is the most flavorful and plentiful.

Well i just use one bag per bowl, but could probably do more, my g/f and I usually share it.

Anyhow, lets get this thread back to Plants! (keep asking about the vape if you want It all good, just no plant update for a bit)

So first off is the overall shot, alot of the plants in here will be going back inside after new tent set up, and some are the g/f's plants...

First is the autoflowers, 3 more will be coming down later today or tomorrow, the two in back are a bit slower.

Here is the BVK(left) and BCB(right) growing Capn Style. The BVK REALLY sucks up nutes, ppm went from about 600 earlier in week to ~225 and about 6 gallons of water(about gallon a day), I refilled res and adding nuts to ~550 PPM. the BCB does not drink nearly as much as BVK, but both seem to be doing great. I also topped three more branches on the BVK earlier in week.

here is the Big Blueberry, hoping she does not get too big, but will be moved to center of greenhouse with more height when autoflowers are done.

Finally the FBK(right) and Critical(left). I love how big and lush the FBKs new growth is, the Critical has alot more branching, but not as big leaves, but they both doing REAL well since transpant.

Enjoy! I sure am!

Hell of an update if I had to say so myself!

OK so I'm kind of clueless here. Do you plan to have the "Capn style" plants growing throughout the season? I'm not fully acquainted with what Capn style is. I was really more wondering if there is excess water moisture/humidity formed from having all of the water in the reservoir? Was thinking they a little localized excess humidity in there with stagnate air could be a cause for concern about mold/rot. There is definitely going to be a dense forest in there come bud day. I'm stoked to see you growing the Critical and the Blueberry. The Blueberry I have is supposed to be crossed with Santa Maria. I wonder how different it will be than yours.

Brilliant growing! :cheertwo:

Lester,

Cap'n style is a very simple, yet flexible, hydro method using top feed and rockwool cubes. The capn has documented it very well in his blogs, on Ipad now but will give link later. Since the reservoirs are basically contained I think your concerns will not be a problem. The bigger problem here in that respect is early fall storms, like last year but I cam through pretty much unscathed thanks to greenhouse keeping plants mostly dry. My bigger concern that many have mentioned is res temperatures getting out of control in hot weather, which really not have...yet.

Thanks for the kind words! I really loving how this season shaping up so far.

It really is a very nice looking machine with all very well made parts. It just has more than I need. Why a remote? I don't understand what that is necessary for other than maybe a paraplegic who can't move well or someone with physical limitations, but for people who don't have those, what is the remote for?
