Crawdaddy's 2014 Summer Outdoor Season

I got my EQ for 189$. Going on 3 years as well.:cheertwo:

Recently, my friend got theirs for about ~150$.

Basically everybody I know, and their mother has one. We all love it.
 
Well shit Looks like i got ripped off LOL, just bought it locally, small town smoke shop. I did no research before buying, just got lucky I guess!

O well I am very happy with it anyhow :)
 
Yeah I did research for many hours trying to find the best vaporizer for the money, and this is the one I decided to buy :) Turned out to be a great investment. I am in love with the thing. I will never smoke again!

Nice guys. You have made my decision for a vaporizer easy. I've been eyeing the arizer and volcano for over a month now. I could not get myself to shell out the dough for volcano and have just been waiting. Think I will put in an order soon for the Arizer.

The only vape if have now is the Magic Flight which I love. The vape is not as good and smooth as my buddies Pax Plum but does a good job.
 
Order it up All smiles, I have used a volcano, it a bit more 'powerful' but so overpriced. the Arizer does a great job.

Your lungs will love you for it:)
 
Plus I don't think the volcano has a whip. I don't like filling up bags with 0.5 gram of weed everytime I want a bowl!

I have used a Volcano too, people try to claim it is healthier quality vapor but I don't see any actual science supporting it.

The Volcano ran vapor quality tests on it, but it really is the same quality of vapor that your getting.

Seriously, I can't believe people would pay 600$ for a unit without shopping around first. Talk about soaking.... eh Craw? :high-five:
 
LOL @RL, yea that is for sure, soaking us MMJ enthusiasts seems to be the capitalist way.

I am all for capitalism, but only works with highly educated consumer and some sort of government regulation.

Edit: Or at least TRYING to soak us.
 
Subbed; better late than never! Your plants are gorgeous. I saw earlier in the journal you mention the ghouse being on the concrete. I have a similar one and when I had mine of the concrete I duct taped the bottom to a slightly larger tarp and really made the tape seal well, no creases and put 5 gallon buckets around on top of that. It never moved an inch and we have really hard straight line winds here in winter.

You must be in the north because if I had my greenhouse up it would be 200 degrees in there !

So the final conclusion to the vaporizer is which one? I think I need to get one soon. Smoking is killing me and eating it is not as much fun. I like all the ritual behind smoking, etc.

And Craw, I apologize too if I got carried away in LAs journal about the LEDs. I know exactly where you are coming from and feel exactly this same way about nutes and soil mixes being sold.
 
Hey GF, welcome and thank you, yes I am at about 46 degrees north latitude and with early fall storms many in this area get nailed by bud rot. Therefore a greenhouse is basically a necessity IMO. It can and does get hot here but dry heat, but so far cool this summer, only high of 68 today. This green house you can roll up the sides a little and get pretty good airflow, but still does get hot, but they can take it as long as good airflow. I got 25 lb bags of pebbles holding mine down has not moved at all in a few windstorms.

If you are having issues smoking order an Extreme Q and a grinder today, or visit local smoke shop and buy one. You will love it, tastes are not as intense but still there, and high is same as smoking.

No worries about anything you said, honestly did not notice anything besides discussion, and if someone does 'give me shit' I can take it I a big boy :)
 
IMO The EQ does the plant justice. It does the flavors justice. Smoking does not. I find that the flavors are ever more pronounced. The highs are much more "clean", and they really extract the essence of what we want, not a bunch of really low-grade cannabinoids that only boil off at 250+ Celcius.

Yeah, I clip the sides open to my little tent everyday, need that good air flow :) :high-five:

I am going right now to search for a good price on the EQ. Is there any particular model? I'll just to look. I already have a ginder.

Have you looked on eBay for greenhouses? I was amazed at how inexpensive they were for rather roomy sizes. Many had side openings several feet off the ground, where you want it for good air flow. I may buy one of them myself. On one of my journals I show my greenhouse, but is in winter. I have two. One 200 square foot and in that I put a second smaller one to really be able to keep it warm at night. It worked, I kept it at 30 degrees F above outside temps. Here, it rarely stays freezing or below for more than hours, but last winter it was especially brutal.

When I say cheap, I'm talking 100 dollars for a 10x12!
 
That is pretty cheap, and no have not looked on eBay, maybe next year if need bigger/2nd one.

The main thing is that your satisfied Cdaddy. All of you really have a life time joint man seriously thinking about reconsidering his get high options. I'm in the same boat with Brooklyn; Love the ritual of the joint. But I think I'll look into it as my grow budget is open for a few 100 bucks right now. It's turning into a little kitty now that I have nearly everything I need plus throwing what I use to give to my guy on top of it.
 
Craw, the one you suggested which I just looked at...does this have a bowl or is it the one someone said takes a full gram every time?
I don't smoke that much, at once. My husband never smokes. It's too strong for him, he says. Puss. Anyway, I think that is a reasonable price. And if you bought it local and paid a little more, that is really good for the local economy and to help support it. I buy everything online because I have to drive 10 miles to the local rolling paper/paraphernalia joint. To go to a hydro store is 15 miles. Right there is about 8 dollars in gas for my 13 mpg Expedition. I also like that I'm paying local taxes to help support the roads and all that pays for. Nothing is free. I digress...
 
The Volcano requires approximately ~0.5 grams to pack in the bowl, otherwise it will not be a bowl that reaches its full potential.

With the EQ , we can pack a ~0.2 - 0.25 gram bowl and reach full satisfaction.

I do not measure mine though, I just use a little bit and grind it up good. I have noticed that if I fill it up too full it does not work as well, vape is not as thick.
 
I don't measure mine each time, I just know from trying both, and how much less weed I had per bowl out of my stash. Volcano uses up tons of herb.

Yeah, I usually fill it up about 75% of the way up to the black heat tape, too much restricts the airflow and thereby less extraction :surf:
 
And I have one more question, if you don't mind. Does the EQ do the bag thing or how does that aspect work out? I feel so dumb, but I've never seen a vaporizer in action. I should check on youtube to check it out.

Is the bag the way most of them work? I'd hate to spend the money then hate it. I'm going to youtube now...
