I echo the Malted Barley tea for the above and might shorten days to harvest. I just found my dry kelp and I'm going to make a foliar tea with kelp and horsetail fern.
Horsetail fern (foliar) is like mold insurance isn't it?
Very nic me job brown lobebthe colourful strains really to me turns the plant into something darn beautiful to stare at and to me very artful looking. It works... I'm there now, well except with the 120 day sativa. But that's going to finish early @ 95ish days lol. Maybe-ish
I harvested DT #10 and also the mutant clone. The Mutant is shrinking down, day by day, making me fell like a complete ass-wipe. I always run the runt mutants. Always expect something really really good and then I'm not sure. Its the same every time too. At the end of the day I'm here writing "never again" and ya know what? I have a mutant weird growth leaves out of leaves looking a little squirrelly Jellium plant. Sure enough, its the 1 plant out of the 10 in VEG I wanna put into flower. I already moved my Jellium Poly Ploid into flower first.
Yeah so getting wordy here sorry.
Harvested:
DT #10 - good weed already tasters smooth and lemon flavored. Just pulled a few tester buds off the line that were hanging extra days so crispy dry and no cure.
DT #10 - Trimmed and in the cans - got 2 half gallon mason jars + 1 quart mason. Not top yields for this one but it was a mother plant that had been topped several times. She was manageable in flower. When I don't top I'll get +12zips in the can but total un-ruley grow.
I'm getting good at floppy.
DT #10 - is a keeper. Got #11 and #12 going and some mothers and some girls. Trying to get several clones all same age and do a shotgun mailer.
DT Mutant Clone - on the hook now - nothing but colas hardly any fan leaves either. Gonna be trim day prolly Friday. She's a smelly one. Got a little skunk smell to her on top of the lemon. Many of the fan leaves were dark purple black. No smoke test yet.
Next on the chopping block:
Slurricane #1 - she's right at 60 days on Saturday. She could have been chopped already I think but the lower nugs weren't quite finished. I think they all are now so it's another chop day.
Pics YAY!
Photo bomb.
Jellium #1 - tri-ploid version. A little droopy on her first day. She was a little root bound and purple already in VEG. Don't see that every day. I have another Jellium in VEG that has purps already too. Exciting times.
BIg Boy camera pics not that they look any different than my cell phone pics!
DT Clone Mutant - looking for nanners, she's +90 days. This is the time with these long running Sativas, they will start throwing nanners at the least bit of stress. I don't really worry much because there's very little if any viable pollen. I do have a fan running almost right on her tho. I'll turn it slightly away from her. Don't want her to get chilly at lights out.
DT #10 - some close ups of flowers. I haven't introduced any cold air with these ladies. They don't really like cold nights. Gotta keep em comfy.
Mystery Girl - close up, she's about 10 days behind DT #10 but getting a little sparkle going. Was hoping for this one to grow a little faster. Maybe some PMB pollen. Getting my brush out today!
I think it’s a a three set of leafs fans instead of normal two .?Sum purtty Bob. Got some great colours going on there. could you explain what tri-plot is?
those slurrys wow you could use a couple of those pics for show maybe bud otm there beautiful and the mutant im like that to I always want to grow the mutant out see what I get usually not much but sometimes its good and that makes it worth it looking forward to the report!

Ramble alert!
Thanks Sticky... yeah while you were typing I was posting in the Contest thread. I think I did the bud contest.
hey bob it doesn't matter if you win those pics of that slurry belong there regardless of the outcome!
Ramble alert!
Thanks Sticky... yeah while you were typing I was posting in the Contest thread. I think I did the bud contest. Lots of great flowers, seeds and critter posts tho. Plant contest @Cola Monster posted a whopper he was growing in his sun room. Lol.. its a beautiful plant.
Cola grows how I wanna grow in the near future indoors and outdoors. He's got it all, great genetics, grow style, consistency, great attitude and loves what he does and it shows in the great pics he takes. Wish journaled more. I'm in an illegal state and hate having to hide these beautiful plants. Likely will always be that way tho. Sorta like how the farmers have to hide where they grow the sweet corn. Lol
Thanks Iti for your kind words.
Cannabis is a dicot meaning it has 2 opposing petioles & leaves as it grows to maturity. Once mature, a dicot will begin to alternate petioles/leaves, 1 then up a little, then another and so on. Once the plant starts alternating, this is when we know they are mature & ready to change lighting for flower.
A Tri-ploid has extra sets of chromosome. This causes that alternating/apposing leaf thing to run amuk. Be like us growing a 3rd leg errrr well big enough to use in walking (prolly 3 balls too). High again so disregard the last comment.
Here's a pic of the triploid with early growth. Once the plant reaches maturity, alternating apposing left sets is where it really goes weird.
This is a tri-ploid cannabis plant - notice there are 3 sets of apposing leaf. Remember that when the plant reaches maturity (aposing leaves change from apposing to off-set).
Fair pic of the 3 apposing leaves. After plant reaches maturity, what does the plant do?
There are now several plant probabilities for mature leaf set. No answer either. Why does 1 plant mutate in this or that direction??
This is exactly what Mendel the father of genetics threw out as in-significant result in his genetic studies. My question is: why did he throw them out?
Tribute the the last mutant I grew out. She's got a nice smell, hanging on the line. I think I got a good one here. Interested to see how the mutation affects the medicinal value and flavor.
DT - Mutant Clone - she mutated because I put her into flower at planting, from roots in water to a final container and right into flower lighting, pressed the Iggy btn. She's now on the hook. Will be in a jar in the AM tomorrow.
Ramble alert! /end
hey blazin it usually takes 6-8 weeks to start showing sex heres an early pic of a male!Lovely lookn girls bb congrats. Hey with tht dt mutant u threw right to 12 12 from birth. What did u get for a yield dry if u dnt mind me asking?
