I got 1 Slurricane on that runnaway train right now. All the others have slowed down, not Slurricane #2 - she's growing just like the last Cooky Cadet plants I grew in the spring.

This Sativa can go in flower for a long long time. I've never taken it to the extreme yet and I've done 120 days a few times (with good result). Everything takes longer from grow thru trim, dry and also cure (if cut early <130+days)

Sativa (landrace strains) can run up to 150 days in flower. That'd be the equatorial versions say from Africa, Central America, Thailand /SE Asia and Hawaii. Check out that equator, where all the plants get proper flowering sunlight (and + rain in some places).

Gonna be cannabis there. Prolly always will, unless fire ball. Possible new word problem.

Just had a thought, is there a planet named "Planet 420"? maybe NASA knows.

If you want them to get big, put them in bigger pots. If you want them manageable put them in a #3 pot and amend the soil monthly.

I run them in 7.5gal pots and IF they get too tall I tie them back out of the lights. If they grow past the lights they stop a few inches later.... most of the time.
7-8 ft tall plants indoors can happen. Lights and soil.

Slurricane are at eye level now and still going up daily. Flowers are setting tho so the stretch should stop soon.

Hope so because here's my VEG room.
Another Slurry in the back and a bunch of Jellium getting big plus PMB x DT and clones + Chem91. Getting busy.

I grow with HID lights mainly. My bread and budder lights... They come in 2 main lamps,,, HPS and MH. As taught,,, HPS or for aggressive flowering. MH are veg bulbs. But if you know your going to get a taller plant than really wanted from her,,, Stop any nitro feed and up the calcium double recommended.And try keeping the MH bulb in for the first week of transition into flower,, than kick in the HPS for almost all the rest... The last 3-4 days they claim it's good to throw some more UVblue on the buds.

Ah Norcali! good to hear from you as always I love your wisdom drivebys.
I had a curveball in that I was pheno hunting the last couple of one breeder and some new from another and got root aphids They caused a couple to not stretch and I have no clue how they really want to grow.
My mystery plant from a ICEDGrapefruit turned into a bonzia mini too just as you said and sure enough, I set up a flood and drain and ended up getting some help to lower it down and finish out by hand 2x a day lol. You nailed it, good smile for the morning:)

That has been my case more so than not lately
This go, I went 1000W of metal halide for 2 weeks into flower for the stretch and they ended up perfectly.
Blasted them with the light too as it's not as efficient as HPS, I ran it close about 18" off them suckers lol. I was like i'll be damned if i play cowboy again.

Woody correct, those are the DT mothers... not going to flower them likely. Too many others. Already have cuts going so take more cuts here in a few days wait for roots and move along.

I have to twin sisters in flower now of those in the pic up there. One is the clone mutant that is about 110 days or so on flower. She's still kicking it too still throwing out white pistols like she was just put in flower last week too.

A quick cell phone pic. She's getting frosty now. This is about mid way up a 30" cola which is the main stem. It's nothing but flower from the soil line up to the top. I'm going to be surprised by her yield I'm thinking.

DT Mutant Clone 110 days in flower

Slurricane #1 - I'm gonna say 40 days in flower. She took a while, almost 20 days to stretch and get flowers. I put her in 12/12 before she was an adult plant (alternating nodes). She's just starting to get some color. Been leaving the widow cracked at night and temps down to low 60s. Next to nights going to get COLD out in the teens 15F or say -10C so should be getting some purps next few daze.

Jellium #1 - polyploid she's VERY tall and thin, thinking I'm going to top her, which never do but I don't want a tall skinny plant. Then I have a cut. Not sure where to top her?? suggestions welcomed. Likely wont be in flower for another 20 days or so.

She's already got purple leaves and still in VEG and no cool temps either.

Uncanny, never seen a girl pray so high without praying for magnesium...You have some insane health in there Bobuddy.

I have to agree that Jellium is interesting. You called it a polyploid, and I'm about half-sure what that means. I know it's about the number of sets of chromosomes but what I cannot recall is if it clones out?...

All cannabis is Diploid but some polyploidy can be VERY potent outliers, it's usually sterile many times and cannot be pollinated... but for the life of me, there is more to it that I'm missing... Will have to go on a research-aboot.

No advice on the topping from me:( Too many potential places for an embolism on that fatty freeway of a meristem you have there.
I don't know how that would effect the girl without hands on ya know? But, I wish you the best of luck and want to hear about how she does etc. Was this a random seed? Curious.
Anyway one good place to look for odd cannabinoid ratios is in the polyploids and I think they can be turned such with a chemical? like STS I think, Anyway they could have WAY different cannabinoid ratios. My thought is that Doug's Verin may be or have been a polyploid.

I can puff this gorilla glue bubble gum I’m smoking on thanks to my buddy @Lowded118 guy is growing some good medicine too . Which makes me want to say something here lights everyone’s are different so that is something to be considered I think greatly . But really want to say is there truly are so many remarkable growers and so many different ways to be grown in but to be able to try different packages is the best thing ever .
