Crystal clear and quite a serene image The photo gives out peaceful vibes. You've definitely got this picture taking nailed..

Perhaps. No one else can probably see what I see but I'm screwing something up in saving the massive files. They look pretty crap compared to what I see in my program (RAW Therapee). I learned on adobe but at the moment can't really justify putting money towards it SO....I'm using all these really cool open source apps...but have very little clue what I'm doing :D

I think I need to put more RAM in this computer, upgrade the graphics card, and get something like Nikon's software. I downloaded it, but it took longer to process one flat photo than the 100 or so that go into one focus-stacked macro.

I never noticed the purple coloring on this strain last year. Pleased about that!

Yeah, that plastic 10x loupe jammed into the case of my crappy lenovo (It's actually a really nice little tablet...it's just not a Galaxy or whatever the hell Apple is trying to sell this month)

EDIT: Handheld, btw.
 
Good shots Copperrein. To me it looks like you still have a lot of clear trichromes on the bud shots. How do you like your weed (rare, med rare, medium? Lol)? I like mine to be very head and zippy and motivating - no couchlock.

I think as I learn more about the different 'highs' my tastes will change but right now I'm the same. I wanna be happy and up doing things like damn disney princess :tommy:
 
I tore apart that loupe and cleaned it up. I think I'm in love with my horrible contrivance of a macro camera

It's taking some good pictures. You can zoom right in in the pic and still have definition. It's better than some modern camera phones. :thumb:

Thank you. I'm still failing with the actual camera. I did two shots this morning and the one I've processed thus far is crap. I suspect there's slight movement occurring due to the kitten throwing herself on the tent while I try to photo the 100+ shots it takes to make one of these stacked macros. I'm fitting to build a 'cat-apult'.

While I wait for a hopefully better version of the above photo to render on my pc....I've started hunting for something that might be worthy of nug of the month. What do people consider a great nug? I like a little sugar leaf on my personal buds but do a machine trim on my hostess weed (what I keep all pretty and perfect in jars on my coffee table for company).

Can y'all give me some tips? Plz?

What lense have you got on?
I've just dug my camera out and the only lense I can find that isn't full of condensation is the 18-55. They've been stored in a garage with a leaky roof :( even the camera mirror is damp :(

I never tightly trim my buds. They burn funny in blunts but it's got more goodstuff I think. Why not try a natural bud shot? With its sugar leaves
It's like a natural beauty before the lipstick and eyeliner..

I was trying to show how misted up it is
 
It's just the kit 18-55mm that came with the body.

Oh no! Don't try to power that on! Use rice (not cat litter) to try to dry it for two weeks. Then you can get in to some areas and try to clean her up a little (even the lens if you've got the tools or the ability to make the tools needed to get in there).

Thank you! Am I nuts for thinking the tablet camera pics are nicer than the nikon's?

I just looked at the second render and it's worse. Pretty sure the cat was the issue. I shall wait until later in the day when she's sleeping next time. She's lucky she's so freaking cute.
