Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed Stock

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

I am older. I have a good job, respected in the community. I have a lot at risk. I just want the freedom to grow a tiny bit and micro-dose on the occasional weekend when I am depressed and not feeling very positive about the world.

To be able to do that without fear will be a big moment.

I am in the same story. except I grow for my wife. I told her for years I could grow some tasty bud but we kept buying from our guy. I told her about my guerrilla grows when I was a kid.

So. Yeah, we waited till legal, nov 2014 the votes passed for us recreational, started growing couple of months later and joined up here.

full disclosure, I can be pre-employment and/or random tested and in my fifties. I do not want to jeopardize my employ, but, I would probably continue to grow if it were not legal.

Biggest thing why I do not like to tell no one. If ya have ever been ripped off? people love free weed legal or not. I lost a lot of hooch to people helping themselves to my hard grown plants. But I forgive them now 30+ years later. All good now.

So true, grate feeling. :thumb:

This discussion really made few turns already :cheesygrinsmiley::Hookah: But I'd like to say that legalisation doesn't diminish the risk of being ripped off at all as I heard many times. You have to be as careful as before and it actually gets easier for thugs as they can spot the plants quicker if gardener didn't take precautions. But anyway I haven't used any guy for years and I really wouldn't like to come back to the old situation, cause weed in Italy is total shit, you have no fckin' idea. But hey we have state-produced medical bud now and it's another kind of shit, I wouldn't even like to touch it :thedoubletake: :tokin:

Anyway here's an update on the plants.

Here comes CG' 72

And here we have UDs in different stages of growth, but mostly pushing their third node.

These are worth looking at cause these grow in HB soil while the rest of the bunch is being grown in my garden soil. There is a difference in colour and shine although this is slower pheno, both plants express the same thing.

They all got some compost tea yesterday and it seems some are getting ready for transplant. I actually started it today with a bunch of F2/F3s mixed, which I put in my 2nd spot. They were all at their first node, very tiny, so we'll see how it's gonna work for them. Otherwise I'm popping Leb. Very tiny seeds like sativa ones :thumb::surf::smokin2:

These should be mostly females, but few candidates for males I can see already.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

I'm going to have to pull mine out and see if they show any sex yet.. Alittle early, but I have had sign earlier than these.. I've just not fely up to snuff.. Looks good.. I kind of always like that feeling I was getting away with it,, growing that is.. But even in legal gardens people need to be careful.. Kick ins do happen alot. Just takes a friend to brag about your plants to the wrong guy, next thing you know you got a carload of Crips up from LA rip you off and be halfway back to LA before cops wood even do anything.. Pot is worth more than money to some peoples. Keepem Green

I agree you have to be careful either way!

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Leb seeds have been quick to germinate and all 8 popped. I've put 5 in the same pot, it actually works quite well and lets me save the space with many plants being grown in the same time. Monday I'm gonna transplant few UDs outside and I'm gonna upcan two for sun dep crop. Later I'm gonna start germinating few Manipuri and repot or transplant CG '72.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Been hiking today a lot to get to to the southern slope of the valley to transplant 6 UDs, which hopefully will make it. I also repotted two to pots filled with HB soil, they will get few more days of veg and then will start to be forced. I don't know if they're male or female, but we're gonna find out soon. Still waiting for Lebs to show, probably in 2-3 days something will break the ground. Nice weather all around, sunny and warm :surf::thumb::smokin2:

A view that people dream of having :) Congratulations.

Do you sex all your plants as they bloom outside, or do you select for sex before hauling them up a mountainside?

No I wait till June and then I pull the males or I don't :laughtwo:

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Sounds like my old outdoor grows, usually pull males at a few pit sites but could never get them all.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

Well fortunately I'm focusing on one spot particularly and the rest is just kind of emergency growing, so pulling males will be easy. I'm thinking maybe about putting some autos in their place after they're pulled.

Re: Conradino23's Another Outdoor Grow With High Brix Soil - Air-Pots & SoCal Seed St

That sounds like a plan, i think all my outdoor plants will be autos this year.

Why not? It's not like they are seeds from Mordor !
