Conradino23 Keeps On Keeping On Outdoor & Indoor Using LOS/High Brix Methods

So you're in for a ride. I hope these plants turn out well for you. Remember, that they use way less nitrogen and potassium in comparison with hybrids, so go easy on the nutes.
ive cut the soil way back I no these sativas don't grow like indicas and I need to keep them short 3ft or less I have had a small amount of experiences growing sativa and I always started out to hot they bounced back but they weren't the same this time the soil isn't hot so let it be done lol!:)

Thanks again. I figured I'd get good advice here.

I have some microbes I'll toss in there too.

I had the Happy Frog from last winter when the local store was out of DrEarth.
DrEarth has been my go to nute for years. In the soil and for teas.

Well if you’ve never seen it before, then most likely Happy Frog is to blame. Looks like calcium indeed, maybe there was too much Mg or too much K in there. I’d definitely use nitrogen with some calcium carbonate dressing.

Yeah just cut it well and you should be ok :thumb:

Have a great weekend :passitleft:

Looking good.. Mine are abit behind yours but mine is well on the way. But I found afew mites on one.. And I can only wish they were spider mites.. Bout got me jaded on outdoors here.. Next year I'm going to have to start afresh again..

I might throw acouple UD seeds on a towel this winter. And give it a try inside.. Yours are shaping up nicely..

These mites are killing you there... it seems there’s nothing but mites in Oregon :)

As soon as I move outdoor I don’t even bother to check for mites, the humid climate and the predators are knocking them down.

I’m looking forward to seeing UDs grown indoor. You just need to select for the right females early and it’s downhill from there :thumb:

It might be the truth, but here I only started seeing them when I went indoor. Outdoor they just never grow strong.

Yep!

I'm in Oregon & haven't had any mite problems with my grows, 4 yrs running. I only rely on predators, but, bless 'em, they're doing their job so far in my garden (knockin' on wood, loud & hard).

But yep, lotsa other folks in the region seem to have probs...

Grow on!

They are getting carried around by all the clone trades and sales. People are passing them around like the clap.
I think that's definitely a big part of it. I grow from seed.

It seems to be this way, but I see a lot of growers getting wiped even when they go from seed too.

I don’t clone much either. Occasionaly like with this UD. I don’t really have conditions to keep mothers. Seed is my preferred way and it works for me, but I don’t have any market I have to keep. In the long run I’d self any clone anyway if I had to, I’ve seen to many people losing their plants over mites, fires or they just hermed.

She looks very doable so far, little stretch and little branching.

My apartment is on a 2nd floor, it’s a 3 floor house. To be honest I don’t mix anything anymore as I keep recycling the soil I’ve been using for the last year :)
