Yeah they will all be single colas which will make for an easier trim job. I need to borrow your homemade trimmer!! lol

If I can average 14g per plant I will net a cool 50 ounces off of a full 100 plant run. I can live with that. Fingers crossed!

When I was doing single cola non defoliated sog clones I was getting around 13 per so defoliated lolly clones should be 14-15 grams per.

Lolly clones are best for hand trimming. If I didnt have my power trimmer I would be doing it your way. Close stacked SOG

But my weed wacker trimmer just knocked out 25 defoliated and branchy clones in 45 mins. :rasta:

The oldest 16 are on the left in this picture. They're on day 37 of 12/12. The 14 on the right are on day 32. They're starting to get some frost on them.

I like how each set of plants steps down... It's like a green "Stairway to Heaven" :)

Looks like our girls are a day apart in 12/12. We may be chopping pretty close to each other.

I cut the last 20 clones tonight which when rooted, will fill the first 100 plant run.

What I've learned so far

1. If I water daily, each plant takes 8 to 9 ounces to fill to the point of getting runoff.
2. If I skip a day it takes 14-16 ounces to fill each pot to the point of runoff.(I've never skipped 2 days between feeding/waterings)
3. Defoliation does not seem to hinder bud production in any way with the strain I am growing(Snow White). The plants recover quickly and add new fans. Hopefully, it will pay off with increased yields.(We'll have to wait till we harvest to see for sure)
4. Going straight to 12/12 keeps the plants compact and allows the light to penetrate down through the canopy which is crucial for good bud development.
5. The GH 3 part line seems to be doing an effective job and the feeding schedule is very easy to follow.
6. 2 liter pots are definitely large enough to handle the root systems of plants grown SOG style. In fact, I believe they make perfect SOG pots, especially if you're packing them in tight.
7. The more established the root system is BEFORE you bury the clone, the heartier the SOG plant will be. I've buried some clones whose roots weren't super developed and they are smaller by up to 3-4 inches. That's fine, but it's just something to keep in mind and it goes along with what Mr. Smith was saying. In fact, I have revamped my cloning efforts to absolutely maximize root production in the cloner. Thanks for the advice Mr. Smith!
8. Journaling here at 420mag and the interaction and feedback I get from all of you guys, makes growing twice as fun!

Just some notes to keep in mind for those considering giving 2 liter Hempys a try.

What's your thoughts on doing 30 clones in the same size cloner and leaving them in there from start to finish?

My thoughts:

It can certainly be done but the thing to keep in mind is the temperature of your res. If you get in the mid to high 70's you'll have problems with your roots. Ideally, you want the res temp in the 66-70 degree range.

To achieve this you can use either a water chiller or drop some frozen water bottles in your res to keep it cool.

Day 41 of 12/12 for the originals. Tomorrow makes 6 weeks. The plants are putting on some weight which is nice to see. I'm pleased with their development as we're just past half way.

I'm feeding the oldest 30 plants at 1100-1200 PPM
The intermediate plants are in the 800-1000 range.
The smallest are in the 600-700 range.
