Come on folks let's see your veg plants! Here's some for ya

Jumbo ufo for most of veg the last 2 days I added the 400 hps and will keep it on through flower I'm flipping them today
.........

Looking Great and should not even mention this as you certainly have a handle on this.
But here goes, if I am miss informed please correct me.

When I transition to Flower I use a MH (More Blue). Have read the blue will help
reduce stretch, I add the HPS once the stretch is over

Yeah true but the led's veg them so tight I'm after some stretch the nodes in the first foot are about 1/2
Inch apart 2 cm roughly so the stretch is welcome and I grow Bubba Fire under hps at work start to finish it does pretty well here's a veg pic from a month ago and flower from yesterday

Perfect timing I was just down stairs tending to the garden and thought to my self MAYBE HE WANTS THEM TO STRETCH :)

BTW Wish I had a nice space like that WOW Nice.

I'm more the Low budget Macgyver Kind, just added heating pads to the sides of tent to add a little heat,
cant afford the 1500w heater. Another idea I just had was putting a BED warming electric pad under my
tent between the cement floor and tent ?

EDIT

Sadly my other alter Ego is TIM the TOOL MAN

Me too Mr Gazoo even my planter is diy lol
Thnx Norcali been mostly elbows and a**hole lately lol I've had my nose to the grindstone it's been fun and we'll worth the effort I got Lunar Landing started at the warehouse and Bubba kush so hopefully they yield well in hydro. I was hired to install the roof vents at my place of employment on a bid contract and they asked me to stay on permanently when one day I saw a plant in the lights so I gave it some lst they had a barrage of questions since they usually didn't do any training except defoliation and hired me on to do most the training

Heyy HizzyB no problem.. ill try my best to explain ..all in all it basically does the same thing ..makes your plants nice and bushy

Topping: Is when you actually remove the "Top" or the foliar head where new leaves derive from..exposing the next two tips on the lower node to the light thus making two tips outa one ..but i find a slight growth decrease for a few days from recovery..

Pinching: Is when your pinching the stem 2 or 3 nodes from the top then bending it over.. now ur not snapping or breaking it.. your firmly pinching the stem(in one spot) until the inner stem is soft then bend it over gently thus exposing you lower case tips of the plant to the light to make it more bushy and this technique has alot less recovery i find it comes back to the light in only a few hours..

I use a combination of both techniques to bush my plants out and make as many tips as i can in my time frame for vegging the plants ..if your short on height in your grow room this can be very effective in space managment for how tall ur plants can get.

Hope this helps you
Grow on my friend

Flushing buds since 2002 .

Thanks herb child

Now I know!!

I top

Once in a while some lst

Supervropping works wonders on mine. I could easily fill a 4x4 scrog with 1 plant in 2 months. ( but my plants move around a lot so not an option ) I also use pinching but I don't fold them over. I pinch it in a few spots if it's growing faster than the group and it slows it down for a day or 2.

I use a combo of all techniques I super crop, lst, top, train, under trim, lollipop, and de leaf, they seem to like it all but if I had to chose two it would be lst and and under trimming.

I've got a blue treacle auto at day 23 right now. She's been topped and as you can see done a bit of lst to her too .

I might dispute that, pinching and topping are the same.

What you are describing is supercropping.
