Colorado High - Soil - CFL - Super Skunk - 2013

The plants need CO2 just as much if not more during flower.....temp is not an issue. CO2 enables photosynthesis/growth, leaves or buds doesn't matter. If you supplement w/ CO2 you can keep your temps higher, 85-90 degrees F. If you're not using CO2 you should limit temps to 80 and have good air exchange. Just put some dark tape over the LEDs, plants are not affected by moonlight, which can be pretty bright 1/2 the time.

Thanks OG13! I'll keep that in mind and if these babies make it to flowering I might just do that. Another alternative is to just remove the CO2 monitor during flowering since I will already know the supplemental CO2 profile that my DIY generator puts out over time and can "fly blind" during flowering without the CO2 monitor.

I honesty think your air is just not moving enough Im in Denver and have those conditions except low lights on humidity but my humidity only get out of range when its raining or foggy. I run a 6" in into my 400w hood no glass my air exits through a big filter and out the same type fan than out of the room. I currently only need A/c in its over 65 out side
Do you have a journal Stoner?:thumb:

Hi Colorado High!

I was using 75% FoxFarm Ocean Forest Potting Soil and Coco. I saw a similar reaction in my plants. I think the FFOF is a little hot for veg.
When I added more Coco, 50-50, they recovered beautifully!
Not sure if that helps, but that was my experience!

Do you love the D&S Growology? I want to try something different on my next round. :-):Namaste:

Well, to tell you the truth I haven't had that much experience with it other than my first attempt which caused the burning and stunting that I'm currently experiencing. The fault lies entirely with me and not with the D&S Growology System. The principle of using only one nutrient mix and feeding every time you water appeals to me and I'm looking forward to getting to actually follow the system once the plants start needing to be fed.

That sounds very appealing to me too! Mixing nutes, and PHing them takes a lot of time!:thanks:

Nice save CH :bravo:

Thank you Kusharella! Thanks really go to those who persuaded me to alter my course. I'm not counting my chickens just yet though since they still have a ways to go to catch up to where they should be at now. I'm guessing that I set them back a week or two and I'm just patiently waiting for them to fully recover and start thriving again.

You've got that right Teldren! I've lived here for over 30 years now after having lived in the Northwest (Oregon), Mid-West (Illinois/Wisconsin), and Northeast (Pennsylvania/New York). I've travelled/visited the vast majority of the continental US and I have to say that this is the best place to live in the US with the Northwest being the second best place IMHO. In addition to the beautiful mountains and scenery, clear blue skies, relatively temperate weather (given that it does experience 4 full seasons), Colorado is now the first place in the world to legalize, legislate and commercialize cannabis. How much better can it get? ;) ;)

Yeah I spent most of my life in Chicago where I would go to prison for what I can do here legally. Moved here almost 4 years ago and the economy is like night and day for a carpenter like me.

Day 48 since the start of germination and progress has been slow but steady. The environment remains stable with temperatures between 80-90 degrees and RH between 50%-60% during lights on, temperatures drop to around 60 degrees and RH rises to around 80% during lights off. Supplemental CO2 starts out around 2000 PPM with a fresh batch of sugar/yeast and after one week it is down to around 1000 PPM. The lowest levels of 600-700 PPM occur right after the exhaust cycle has completed but it does recover relatively quickly. I'm still just giving the plants molasses water with only one half gallon total being given over the last week. No nutrient issues with any of the new growth. I've started some LST on the bottom side shoots of the largest plant and it does appear to help with the growth of those side shoots.

Well, that's about it until the next update. Until then -
