Colombian Gold Grow: Come Learn With Me How To Produce Your Own Seeds!

Ok phewf! I want her to bulk up!!

I’ll wait for all cloudy trichs Beez, thanks for talking me down. I gave her one dose of flush juice so I’ll feed her tonight:D

Looks like DDA gets a stay of execution for now.

How about that QPA eh!? She’s frosting up finally and has doubled her girth #lastminutechamp

Here is a photo taken this morning of the Quarter Pounder auto plant. I continue to apply the colloidal silver morning and night and will continue to do so.

I finally added a fourth plant to my flowering tent filling up that dreaded hole. It is a clone taken from the seeded Colombian Gold plant. The NL X DDA is starting to really bulk up and the buds are starting to get pretty dense.

I am pretty sure I harvested my QPA around 10-11 weeks after it started flowering.

Man I am in love with that NL x DDA :yummy::love:

The shape and structure of it - oh my!

DDA gets a stay of execution for now

Ive watched numerous grows of DDA that include an incredible amount of growth and bud development in teh latter stages. Sometimes Sues plants have nearly doubled in mass during the last month. She usually goes 100-110 days from seed, I think.

How about white noise generator on the table next to you to mask some of the dissonance?
That could work. Depends what causes the discomfort for beez, sometimes white noise can make things worse. I have these awesome new earplugs. I have terrible ‘hyperacusis’ (which on better days means I’m kinda like the bionic woman, and on bad days every sound is like someone is beating my nervous system with a spiked mallet). So noisy environments get unmanageable quickly. These new plugs, called IsoLate Mini (I’m not affiliated) mean that I can reduce sounds overall, without losing quality. You still hear everything at the right frequency balance so you dont lose detail, just reduces the overall impact. And you can use differnt sized pieces and adjust a bit to control how much you’re blocking. PLUS>>> they’re aluminium so they dont look quite so dorky sticking out of your ears - almost like jewellery. :D I’ll let you know how they go Beez, next time I wear them to a busy environment.

:Namaste:

This morning I got the NL X DDA seedlings transplanted into their permanent 2 liter bottle homes. I have kept the other three in the solo cups in the event one or more of the transplanted seedlings has a problem.

Awesome looking group of seedlings! I’m excited to see them all grow out!

The NLx plant is a beauty. She certainly demands the spotlight in your tent!

Keep up the good work beez!

Beez you're getting a lot of good bud from some small looking pots man. Fantastic.

I like somewhat smaller plants, stoneotter. Easier to handle especially when they get top heavy.

Thanks a lot, Dutch. A smoke test will tell for sure if the cross was a good one. But I'm betting on it evidenced by the 9 pack I just started.

To germinate these seeds I used three red solo cups filled with small/med perlite. The perlite was soaked for a few hours with 1/4 strength nutrients PHd to 5.5 The solo cups were placed on a seedling heating mat to warm the water in the cups. They all sprouted on day 3 and I transplanted them today on day 4.

Phew, made it through 59 pages. All great stuff and look forward to trying some of this next year but waiting in anticipation to see if your boy parts show up.

I know it's past wed but my guess is 124 on those buds.

Keep up the great work beez!

Welcome, Stirstick. I just finished brushing on the colloidal silver and nothing new to report. I'm waiting with anticipation too looking for the boy parts.

Trying your hempy solo cups for my new round of beans. Cracked them in shot glasses then into paper towels with loose saran wrap til they get a bit more tail then today or tomorrow into lightly charged perlite. Next time i'll try straight into perlite but was paranoid one would get turned around and sprout upside down. Lost one last pop that way.:rip: lil one.

The super nice thing about the perlite............if your seedling doesn't sprout in 3 days (just burying it 1/4" deep in perlite) you know something isn't right. So you take a toothpick and move the perlite away till you find your seed or seed with a tail. I'v found them growing sideways in the perlite but just let it go and it sprouted. But if you had one growing upside down it's simple to gently pluck out the seedling and re-plant it back into the perlite but upright. I use 1/4 strength nutrients and every strain has liked that so far.
