Once you select which branch or branches you want to apply the colloidal silver to you want to make sure you spend the time necessary to paint the entire branch paying special attention to the nodes. Nodes where leaves will form, nodes where branches might form, nodes where pollen sacks will form. Paint the branch fully from where it grows out of the main stalk of the plant all the way up to the highest node. I don't paint it on the leaves. I apply it at lights on and right before lights off.

Just curious why you don't use a spray bottle and saturate the plant. Is it because you can't remove the plant for spraying? And, do you only apply once to each plant you want to reverse?

Peace, Hyena

I thought I read once after pollinating you're supposed to spray to make sure the pollen gets down in the bud.
Of course I can't remember where I read that.

A couple reasons why I don't saturate the plant. First, I've had success applying the CS via a paintbrush to just the branch I want to reverse. I paint the entire branch concentrating on the nodes. I brush it onto the leaf stems and the entirety of the branch. Second reason I brush it on instead of spraying it is that I try to do as little damage to the plant as possible. The CS I use is 50 ppm and tends to burn/damage the leaves if sprayed on. And finally I brush it on to save money. I go through a lot let brushing it on then I did when I used to spray it on.

I apply it right before lights out and again right after the lights come on. So twice a day for as long as it takes or till I decided it's just not going to work on a particular plant.

Three days after pollinating i sprayed the heck out of the Colombian Gold plant to render and good pollen on the plant sterile/useless. I did this so I could put her back into the main flowering tent.

I understand that the whole process.......from pollinating the flowers to the plant absorbing the pollen through the pistils takes less then a few hours. I would say at the very least hold off spraying for at least 5 or 6 hours. And I'm pretty sure even then you would be sterilizing some pollen that might net you some seeds.

Because you never know what you'll get with a cross if I have pollen I do that exact same thing. I dust a couple smaller bottom branches and make some seeds.

Haven't had much chance to post in the thread. Getting ready for a craft fair this weekend. A chance to sell some of the jewelry I make during the year and put a little cash into the Christmas gift fund. We do not get caught up in the hype of commercialization of Christmas. But we do use Christmas as an excuse to buy each other a couple of frivolous gifts. We definie frivolous as something we don't need, but it sure would be nice to have and would make life nicer/easier. Lisa has an 8 Qt. Instant Pot on her list. I'm less frivolous and have a replacement 6" hose for my Agri-Fab on my list. It probably has about 4 rolls of duct tape holding it together. Anyway, I pretty much hate being in crowds of people so today will be a challenge for 8 hours.
