CF, if i was running HPS or something that produced a lot of heat id be running it at night for sure! LED i havent had an issue with yet though.
 
I took the buds from the Purple Haze out of the dry rack. The flowers on this plant are much smaller than the Violator and Tangerine Dream plants. This surprised me because it did not look this way while growing. I will supply the dried weight of the Violator and Tangerine dream tomorrow do the smoke reports and close this journal to start a new one.
Dried weight of the Purple Haze is 29 grams.

I could still go in the winter time but my mos would be whatever the Marines thought best. I did not want that and went to boot camp within 2 weeks of high school graduation. This was definitely not in my plans. I wanted to screw around for a few months before heading out and discovering the world. I was not very happy about this but decided it best to go now. I wanted to get some job training and comeback and land a high paying union job. My recruiter promised me that as an electrician in the Marines I would be the most desirable job candidate when I returned! This was music to my ears! My future was set. I was going to be a Marine and return and become a union electrician for the rest of my life. At the time, this sounded like everything was falling into place. I received my plane ticket and off I went!

A lot of people on this site would keep the male plant if they really like the genetics, let it flower, keep the pollen to use to cross with a female and make thier own strain. I have never done this but would in the future if I had more time and grow room. You would definately need a separate flower space so none of the other plants would be pollinated.
I do not know your situation. If it was me I would let the male plant die and start anew with hopefully female. That is just me. I look forward to see what you do with that plant!

I have heard that several times!! Oooooorah!! The first thing we learned in the marines was that our bodies did not belong to us any more. We were owned by our country and the marines. I never really felt comfortable with that!

I'am with CF:rip:If you keep him anywhere near your room you could screw up your next grow also. but if there is someone you dont like next door and they grow outside well...:peace:

I like your response... Kill it!! I have grown a few plants that I should have done just that!

Hey there driftme!! Yes, with the LED I am sure you will never have a heat problem. It has been very hot lately here and that HPS light sure puts out a lot of heat.

Inlaws were over today. It sure was nice to have the plants sleeping while they are over. Don't every want them to know I grow. That is the main reason for the big light switch. Plus, I am sure it does save on energy too.

Thanks my Friend! I wish I could say I was a great asset to the Marines. I am more of a practical joker and lover than a fighter! I did have a lot of friends and visited a lot of really neat places!
Yes! How did you know. I sell more scotch lock that anyone else on the planet. It is so easy. When someone buys a lock from me. I just say. Would you like scotch to go with that? James. I would have done the same thing. I hope you get two females. I have had one hermie plant before. It looked like a female till almost the very end. I think I would catch it sooner if it happened again because I know now what to look for. I believe I caused the plant to hermie by keeping it in flower for too long. I could be wrong though. I think you already have an eye to spot a hermie by noticing the male pollen sacs so soon on your last plant.
