Its a good thing I have 4 plants to go. The dry weight on the AK Sour was 23 grams. She was the smallest and youngest plant. She was only about 6 inches tall when I put her in flower. I tried the popcorn bud after 24 hours. It was not ready like the Moby Dick was. So I really do not have anything to report yet.
Busy day today in the closet!! I took some cuttings off the Lucy, White Ruski and Rock Lock for clones and seeded 4 seeds along with the clones. I believe X starts his seeds this way so I figured I would do so also. If all seeds sprout I will have 8 plants. I really only need 6. That will give me a little room for error and also if I have a funny looking runty plant I can just through it out! The new seeds are Violator Kush, MK Ultra, Sour Jack, Northern Lights and Big Bud, Sour Jack. These all sound like great strains. I hope they all pop and are healthy!!lovely,very lovely and overalls are all I own so I wear them with pride! again nice!
Today the OG Kush and the Purple Haze both had some branches that needed tying up. These plants are really doing a last ditch effort to get some weight. I will be pulling all plants by next weekend...

Ha!! I just found out why I could not find any ripe popcorn buds on the dry rack from the AK Sour!! The mystery has been solved!! I thought it was funny that the Moby Dick had a few smokable within 24 and not the AK!! My Wife took all the popcorn buds and didn't tell me!! I married a weed thief!! Ha!! Smoke Report later!! BTW she told me that she likes the AK Sour better than moby. She is an indica chick!! Sativa gives her a headache and I want to make sure that never happens!! LoL!!!
OH MY, you need to nip it, nip it in the BUD I say, damn gate way drug it is. first its a little mexican. then a little AKsour and then from there she'l be naked sitting on the windmill

Sour AK Smoke Report!!!
It is great to have harvested two totally different types of smoke. The Moby is a great head high. The Sour AK is a great body high!!
This plant is the smallest plant I have ever put into flower and harvested. It was only about 6 inches tall when I first put into 12/12.
I got only 24 grams of dried bud off this plant.
The high is exactly what I needed. It definately is of medical quality. It is a strong body high. When I was watching tv after a vape bag I noticably felt like my arms and legs weighed a ton! I pomptly took a one hour nap! I could have napped more but I live in a busy home. The high last a long time and is very calming. This weed could would act as a great muscle relaxer or sleep aid. I really like it. Definately a right before you go to bed smoke!!

When you said nip it! I immediately thought of Barney Fife!! I say we gotta nip it!! Otis the booze hound was always giving ol poor one bullet Barney a hard time!! Andy could have been a MJ user. Never saw him drink and he always was calm as ever. Mayberry was a safer place because of him!! God I loved that show!!
I used to argue and complain to my wife when things did not go my way. No more!! I always ran into a brick wall. This is my first marrage but I do have children with other women. If there is one thing I know about women is this.....do not argue or cross them!! It is important if you live with them to be extra nice. Even if you have to bite your lip!! Gotta keep her on my good side. I have seen the bad side and don't want to see it again!!

Gas Lantern Routine.... Started on my Veg Plants on 6/22/12. The GLR routine is set up with 12 hours on and 5.5 hours off and one hour one then 5.5 off then 12 on. It sounds complicated but I just set my timer at 7 am to 7 pm on. 1:30 to 2:30 on. 2:30 to 6:59 am off. I plugged it in and let it go.
I just wanted to post this as a reminder of when I started doing the GLR on my veg plants. It has only been 2 days but I have already noticed growth. Maybe not more than if I left on 24/7. But definately not less. It actually could be more!! I really do not know but I do know the plants are growing and healthy. If they keep going the way they are. They will go straight into 12/12 this weekend when I pull the other plants. The Tangerine Dream is already 14 inches and the rest of the veg plants are at 12 inches.

I think I am a fan now. Just a few days and the plants are growing. Not just staying the same. I think they are growing as fast asthey would if I would have left the plants at 24. It would be cool to see a side by side comparison. I just don't have the space or time. But that would be a very interesting comparison.
I always got a lot of stretch from my plants when I left in darkness for 24 hours before going into 12/12. I believe the plants stretch during the dark period. If they stretch that would open up the nodes mid plant and give better overall growth too with the GLR.
Doesn't matter though. I think I am going to keep growing the plants in veg this way from here on out. I am glad I tried it!! Thanks!!

27 years is a long time! You definately are doing something right. I am sure you agree that a relationship that lasts that long takes work. I am sure you both worked through several issues and now your relationship is stronger than ever! Good for you!! I hope I can say the same thing day!!

Thanks James! I am very pleased with the GLR. It really does work!!
I do have a question about harvesting I hope you or anyone can answer. Or if there is an answer. Here is my question.
All the previous harvests I have had I have waited till the trichs were amber And hairs receded in the bud. Sometimes I have waited so long that I have produced seeds from my plants. It has been normal for me to go 4 to 8 weeks past the estimated mature time from the seed manufacturer. I think that is one reason I had bigger yeilds. However I am now thinking that even though I had bigger yeilds my smoke was not as potent. The smoke that I recently harvested is of same THC as the smoke I have grown before. Yet it seems much more potent. Does this make sense?
Do you think there is a window of a plants life in maturity when the plant starts loosing potency? And if there is a window, how long is it? I really believe in some of my previous harvests I waited too long and lost potency.

Believe me buddy, I know!! That is why I said that. It would be great to have that honeymoon feeling forever. I know it wears off and that is when the work begins or the relationship ends!! More good than bad you think!! LoL!! Sounds like something I would say!!
