SO true about the heat with seeds. I fried afew this year. It always happens in the summer to me. I use the cable box but when that ambient temp is high to start with it's real high on there. I recently bought on of them IR temp guns on E-Bay for afew bucks. Pretty cool unit. And handy. I like to check temps when I do transplanting of clones, when I get afew that don't die. I think that wood be about the highest stress time for temp changes, except maybe when you introduce the germinated seed to the soil or whatever medium your using. GL with the GDP. Hey you know you guys got perfect weather to grow out some of them fine sativas over there. Like some Malawi Gold. I hear that stuff is killer. It's a fairly long flower, but I hear she worth it.
Hey one other thing, I think it's great you go over and keep a eye on Pop's. I kind of like the guy. Sounds like someone need to keep a eye on that old HillBillie. Who knows me and my old Lady are thinking about a trip out that ways in the future. But we've been talking about it going over a year now. But it is getting close ot time to take off for acouple weeks. Maybe we'll all get together for a dinner or something. I'm going to try to get ahold of a cousin of mine who's been growing over there for about 30 years and see if he has some seed stock to work with. About 20+ years ago he turned me onto some seed off stock he used for his Puna Budder 'pollen hash'. Stuff was ripper and I grew it out for 4-5 years before I lost the strain. nice you know people with local strains I cant find any I don't know anyone lol so I get imported seeds from the seedbanks in uk lol
mainly use singe seed center one of 420 sponsors I like to be able to buy one or 2 seeds just to try
and yea OMM is a very cool dude I don't mind helping him out at all, but it isn't a one way street he helps me out too :thumb:
 
ok its update day not much on update atm gonna pop one or 2 more seeds in a week or week and a half
a holy grail kush which im not so fond of looks great smells great but not the strongest smoke and im still debating what else to pop atm
looks like ill be getting some bubba x gdp and ogk x gdp seeds soon lol

ok on to bk not the happiest healthiest root system on this one threw some of that gdp pollen on her so hopefully I get some good seeds and better root structure
on another note these bubba seeds were given to me so it is what it is
never had the issues with seeds I buy oh well hope for better days ahead

actually the root systems shit
I see it everytime I gotta add more water
but as I mentioned I got those seeds free and this is the first time I had root issues
the seeds I buy don't have that issue
also the 60 day wonder suppose to be a cross of Williams wonder and ruderalis
Williams wonder is suppose to be indica isn't it? and ruderalis well we all know what they use that for :thumb:
lemme know when you got a new journal man id like to see you growing
 
yeah I read long time ago about ruderalis then disregarded it when I saw it was a strain that was taken to some cold part of the earth and flowered quick, which in essence would make a super fast indica phenol, but look at that sativa in there! Williams wonder must be incredible LOL

mono is also running some autos that are growing like crazy, like theyre from a hot part of the earth moving water and food faster than colder parts because of heats ability to increase metabolism

It is crazy that you have harvested I think 3 times now since I started my grow, and most of mine are still going ha ha. We live and learn :) The adventure of it is my favorite part, good or bad.

well its the indoor control of environment like hrs of light and hydro for fast growth
I wouldn't be able to do it outside in hydro the way I am doing in in bubblers itll get too hot
but don't have the natural sun inside
soil takes longer in or out
I love your outdoor stuff I cant get em that big inside not enough space lol
