So in your cloner the root tips actually are submerged? Mine they just get misted by not submerged wonder which is better, if either?

no they are not submerged
just above the water
the bubbles keep em wet:thumb:
but the tips aren't all even in length so there could be one or 2 in the water but it doesn't hurt
the main idea is to keep it just above but it still works if its in a bit

so it looked like the shell cracked open a slight bit more lol

ok so I might dump one of those og cuttings ill leave the rest so you can see em root
I have enough growth on the bubba kush now to sex it so I may just take a cutting off it and root it for sexing purposes
someone gave me a bunch of bk seeds he got from a friend he doesn't grow so he gave it to me problem is he didn't know if it was fem seeds or regular seeds so I need to sex it
reg seeds would be ok I wouldn't mind a bubba cross with something
free seeds anywho I kinda was thinking this bubba might be a male cause it was stretchy from the start all my plants so far have been tight noded in the start under the lights I use
but well see stay tuned
if its a male ill grow out the clone to collect pollen and seed a branch or 2 of something and kill the one in soil
if its female I guess its gonna be my bubba mom:thumb:

2 of them definitely have roots already growing there was only the 2 left and its only day 3
but I killed off one to try and root a bubba kush clone and sex it:thumb:

Lookin good Cronic, hope you're havin a happy weeday yourself, a kushtastic and skunkerific one (especially if you get a afgan kush cross rolling ;)) as well.

Are you germing with the seed pack inside the bag? Is that your "label" for germing seeds? I hadn't thought of that, I always use a sharpie... good idea, not as much bleed as a wet paper towel. :Namaste:

I don't really cull anything at all as far as poppin seeds is concerned they all get a chance
I just did the cutting to show my cloner and how it works besides I needed to keep the mom in soil down to size

I bought a couple new netpot lids
and some hydroton gonna need it soon

I get other buckets and I cut two pieces off of them as close to the top as possible so I can get at least 2 out of each bucket I waste
if you work on a construction site you can get free buckets without having to buy but as im not working right now I just bought a couple and proceeded to chop them up
I figure you can use the bottoms to plant something if you really want just make some holes for drainage and add soil:thumb:

so anywho the reason for this is
I tape them to the inside of the netpot lid, the netpot lids I have are slightly taller in the middle then the edges
this causes the water that splashes onto the lid to roll down to the edges
as the lid is a bit loose and doesn't have a watertight seal it tends to make a puddle around the bucket over time
this little lip on the inside is like a drip ring the water rolls down to the edge of the bucket and instead of reaching the edge it reaches this lip then it has no other way to go but back down into the bucket:thumb:
since the very top of the bucket is unusable you have to take from below the lip its why I only take a couple inches off the top after the lip
2 pieces 1 inch each I use a table saw to try and cut it straight
the operative word is try lol once that top lip comes off the rigidity is no longer there making it a pain in the ass to cut it even and straight
the reason behind only taking off the top is I want the diameter as big as possible, keeping it as close to the edge of the bucket as I can leaving less opportunity for the water to get out

I have one I have been using for a couple grows and it works great:thumb:
I have others I don't have the inner lip on and they leak water from the top edges
