Cronic your grow is doing great and the cloning system is really nice. Your ladies are showing their love for you and are looking great. :circle-of-love: Happy Munchieday my man

Hey Chronic, when you use that kind of cloner, same idea as mine, how long do you let the roots get before planting them? I go a few that have like 1/4"-1/2" long roots, wondering when I should put them in soil.

Also are the buckets you have your plants in stand alone hydro containers or do they attach to a shared reservoir? I am interested in trying some hydro side by side with soil so a stand alone hydro bucket be perfect.

88 more and your there
Happy Munchday Cronich:)
nice cloner and nice clonets and a wonderful bunch of Ladies too:thumb:

Thanks Fishy :thumb:
have a munchytastic day yourself man

do you pole fish or use nets?

poles or electric reels depends what im doing
deep sea bottom would be electric
shallow bottom we use poles
most of the fishing I do is for deep sea pelagics
tuna, marlin, mahimahi, and ono:high-five:

hmm that's a good question never really tried to measure or even thought about the length I just looked at it and thought if it was enough or not

but I would say let a few roots get to at least a couple inches first some are thick some are thin supposedly the thin ones are the ones that suck most stuff in.
sometimes you can see roots starting in as little as 3 days but usually rooted good enough in 7-10 days
in soil id probably prefer to have it rooted pretty good at least a couple inches if not an inch more give or take
in hydro a couple inches is fine as its not really changing mediums, basically the same thing, once roots look pretty good in the cloner you can even add a light nute feeding in the cloner, itll help keep it fed and roots will grow a little faster

all my buckets are standalone dwc bubbler just like the bubble cloner just air and water oh and nutes in the dwc lol
reason for me wanting to keep it that way which is actually a slight bit more work but
I can have all my plants flowering on different schedules allowing me to have a more perpetual type of harvest:thumb:

so about a day and a half and I got about 3/8 of an inch of taproot coming out of afghan kush/ skunk
still waiting for gdp to show cmon baby pop for me
if I don't see anything by this evening im gonna throw it on a heating mat and see if it helps

Thank you for the thorough answer. That should help. Mine are rooting kinda slow, but I think cause water to warm.

np anything I can do to help :thumb:

Did I see that your only using a 2inch airstone in your cloner? Or did I miss something. Im hoping that's all you got in there because I never thought it would work because I've only seen em with pumps and I need some kinda cloner fast. Have you had success without clonex?

this is the second time ive used this and ive never tried without clonex but id assume it still would work as the water will wash most of it off but the residue is still left in the water till I change it every day or two days
and theres 2- 2 inch stones running off a dual pump
the stuff I read about bubble cloners don't mention any rooting gel to use if im not mistaken
I just have it from when I was trying to clone the old way with rockwool clonex and a humidity dome

hope that helps

hoping for you..some seeds just need longer than others. it surprised me but these dead looking seeds I just laid down popped so fast..ones already broken soil, just 3 days after I started germination. did paper towel then soil that I broke up well :thumb:

I know yours will pop, try to stop messing with it so much. heat mats can sometimes kill seeds

3-5 days is normal
