Chromes Gone Hempy: "Kushberry" + Bagseed/Bagseed Clone: CFLs!

I love it. More things to learn. Hempy style huh? Well if anyone is lookin' for me I'll be scouring the how-to's etc to see what that is all about.

:reading420magazine:

Your girls look great and the white of the perlite and the blue buckets, it all makes for a very appealing shot. How can such a beautiful plant be illegal?

:tokin:

ItsChrome, Nice blue buckets , do they have a res. or are they reg buckets ? I just may start a few in "hempy style" is there anything in there besides Vermiculite and perlite ? Thanks dude hope I can do as good as you've done !! :peace:

I was thinking the same thing. Where did you get those buckets?

Skooterclown, Cool video guy !! How did you sneak into Itschromes' tent !? You guys are doing a great job with the buckets and the video !! :thumb:

Hey buddy
Slappy and I wanted to say thanks for the video. We are truly flattered.

I thought I'd put something together in your honor.

Oh man that was awesome!! the production value really blows mine away.

Gotta tell you You make me spit cereal all over my laptop, not one but twice. Having never heard that song before I just about lost it when he dropped the first deep bass chrome. Hahaha Then again when the pic of the crappy ass schwag popped up. haha good stuff! Thank you!

Lisa Bell looks like she will have two main tops... nice,, :)
Actually there are three main stems. so there should be three. I'm not sure how this one is going to grow out. with the other two ladies I plan on topping them. what do i do with lisa?

I think you need to quit your job! It's taking up too much of your time. Now everyone else has got to pick up the slack to keep this journal on the front page. :cheesygrinsmiley:

Just look at all the traffic you caused! ;)
Hahaha so true. but try explaining this to my GF.. :)

As design of a hempy dictates the bottom Inch of the pots hold water, this acts as a min res. I'm not using any vermiculite myself. since the main reason for it is to help with cal/mag since it releases it over time as it breaks down. How ever since I use a cal/mag solution in my nutes I figured I can forgo this. I really dig the buckets too!!

Dont they look just pretty in that rig? I actually picked them buckets because I figured it would make for some pretty pictures. Plus the price was right!

I was thinking the same thing. Where did you get those buckets?

At the Christmass tree shop. I love that store. though man dont go stoned, you will buy soooo much random cheap junk.

To every one else, Thanks you so much for the kind words and continuing support! You guys rock!

Itschrome , That was a great video !! I have a new plant thats just not keeping up root wise, so I may just try putting her in a "hempy" bucket so it would be OK to just use straight perlight ? would a small bubbler set into the bottom do any good ? One more question, is it all right to put the rockwool right in the perlite and just top water till the tap root gets down to the res ? Thanks Itschrome !!

Yes, just fine. In all the research I did i found about 50% use just perlite.

would a small bubbler set into the bottom do any good ?
Nah not really. Its not needed. with the perlite being as loose as it is air flow really isn't an issue. when you water the water pulls air down tot he roots as well.

One more question, is it all right to put the rockwool right in the perlite and just top water till the tap root gets down to the res ?

Yes, KB was placed in her setup as a seedling still in her seed starter. and i think she is doing just fine. Plus it will help hold water at her roots as they grow down to the res.

I don't think an airstone would work in a regular hempy bucket. But if you check out Setting Suns grow, he is doing hempy but has pots with a separate res in the bottom and put an airstone in it. He said it makes a difference.

Reps to skooterclowns!

You are so right about the Christmas Tree Shops. The place is dangerous on the wallet.
But I'm goin' to have to go tomorrow now that it's in my head :)

ItsChrome I had a blast riflin' thru your gallery to find shots for the vid. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks everyone for the rep.

Oh noes!!!

Checking in on the ladies today yielded black spots on KB.

They run along the edge of some of the lower branches.. I'll post a photo tomorrow as my camera batteries are dead. I have run through the trouble guide and I'm still not really sure what it could be? Any guesses? I know its hard to call with out photos so I understand if you can't really say for sure yet. All i know is i'm sad..

SkooterClown,, that was a great video,, reps 1000 times if I could. :)

Chrome,, that sucks about the spots,, hopefully it's not anything major,, (like a stoned moment of spilling nutes on the leaves or something like that..lol)

I know in some standard plants black spots on the stem can mean a fungus. Most of the time this is caused from leaving them wet a lot. This usually starts on the leaves first though, unless the lights aren't drying up the stem when you foliar feed. Just a thought!

I haven't been foliar feeding them since doc yelled at me for doing that..

Peeked in doesn't look to be spreading, so I dunno.. I have to go back to work now but check back later guys for photos..

PS: i miss mid day BS with you guys soo much, but in the end the money and job satisfaction at this place out weighs my fun time..
