Chocolope/Critical Kush/Pineapple Chunk/Incredible Bulk/Jacks Smack In SCROG - LED

Re: Chocolope/Critical Kush/Pineapple Chunk/Incredible Bulk/Jacks Smack In SCROG - LE

Harvest went fine. Washed them all of course and hung to slow dry whole.

Here is the 72 day old auto as well fraggle skunk. Now with lots more room In the veg cabinet.
Was a free seed from herbies.

lifted all the net pots from veg cabinet And jammed them into the SCROG violently.
They are so huge from 9 weeks veg while waiting for the previous bloom to finish they are huge. Now have to spend an hour and weave them in.

Awesome OGr. Must have been tough figuring out where all the branches would go. Like operating a loom! Makes me think of a scrog design where you use fiberglass poles that clamp into place. Then you could set in all the plants, divide them with the long poles and then put each of the short poles in one by one and clamp them. Would be great for emptying a scrog too. I would put a hole in the back of the cabinet to socket them into and a clamp up front. People might buy such a system.

Ok so it only took a half hour to break this thing into the screen. Many branches were harmed in the making of this SCROG. Now that it is all stuffed in we will allow the plant to self prune. Anywhere the canopy is too dense it will eat the leaves and dry up the stock. When that happens I cut it out. Same with the ones I have broken too badly to recover. No big deal though canopy is more than full, no need for any veg time in here. Next batch ready in 10 weeks 8-)

Sounds like a cool idea man. Unfortunately my veg cabinet is only 2x4 so the plants need to fit in a much smaller space before they get to spread out into bondage ;-)

I also prefer to hang my plants whole for a slow dry, so I can't cut them out of a hard screen. I use rope. Just cut the rope alone the front and sides of SCROG and easily pull all plants out. Then spend half hour re-tying a new rope to stuff the new ones into.

Re: Chocolope/Critical Kush/Pineapple Chunk/Incredible Bulk/Jacks Smack In SCROG - LE

All I do to decide where it goes in screen is start with longest branches and threads them to corners of where I want each of the five. They each get about 2'x1.25'. Then just fill in the gaps with the dozens of branches they each have after a 9 week veg with countless endless FIM the whole time ;-)

Re: Chocolope/Critical Kush/Pineapple Chunk/Incredible Bulk/Jacks Smack In SCROG - LE

I will only cut the ones that die. The plant decides what is too crowded itself. In the crowded areas some leaves and nodes automatically turn brown and die until it is the right density.

I am not sure how much it stretches if you don't train it. Even in all my pre SCROG grows I always broke the shit out of it so it would stay flat. Look at my other two journals.

Last time in SCROG i tucked it back under for first week but that became impossible after that. It was about 15" above the screen in the end

Oh and the fastest grower in bloom was incredible bulk this time not Choco. Choco has always been my highest yielded but I think she took a hit in veg due to high nutrient solution temps.
