Yeah I hear you Shed, and BTW I’m really not referring to anyone on this thread, I enjoy all of y’alls grows and know you all know how to grow.

I just see soooo many posts lately of, “is this done?” and its like, no dude, it’s not, have you ever seen a bag of weed? LOL

Almost always because of some hyper focus on trichs. That said, if ppl have determined they like their weed and the Terp profile with a very specific ratio, more power to them, can’t argue that. Always go for what you like.

Hey Growca, ya I definitely have pulled my share of buds a little early because of trichs but you live and learn. There are a bunch of post that only harvest based on trichs but trust me these babies won’t be coming down early. And really once u get a bag of weed the hairs are all broken and and the buds are smashed it’s just not the same on the plant.

Hey @Van Stank or anyone growing organically I was pricing my my amendments for my soil and it’s comjng out around $150 idk if I’m just trying to put too much or if this combination with produce decent quality. Here’s my list what do you think:

Alfalfa Meal
Bat guano high in N
Bat guano high in P
Crab Meal
Shrimp Meal
Azomite
Blood Meal
Bone Meal
Kelp Meal
Dolomite
Rock Dust
Sulfur

I have kelp meal and just bought crab meal and shrimp meal. I’m going to just buy a little at a time until I have everything. And the weather just hasn’t made up it’s mind if it wants to get warm yet so there’s no rush.

Where is your primary calcium source? I don't see any oyster shell flour or gypsum. I would also consider adding some insect frass or Neem meal as well, both are in mine along with crab meal for peat prevention and defense.

You gotta start somewhere....give it a go and keep good notes.

I knew I was missing something but ya I’ll add in some Neem meal also. I can’t wait to get everything and get my hands dirty.

It really was! Lol so convenient and takes all the guess work out of it


Although if you are state side, I’d recommend buildasoil... they can mail everything you need right to your door and have taken all the guess work out of it for you as well.... @RETRIX used them and has some gorgeous plants going on right now from their basic mix.

Veg Update:

The Harlequin x NL by Stank Genetics is up first today was transplant day they were almost root bound. I don’t know how much it hurts a seedling to be root bound but I heard somewhere that it very detrimental to final product but idk so I just went ahead and up potted them. I normally wait until I see pre flowers but it will be ok.

The Annunaki cross is doing great you can barely tell last week I broke a decent size branch stretching her out more. She will fill the whole 2x2 if I let her I have her pushed back so the smaller plants can get some light. It’s also time for a trim of the lower stuff. That stuff will never get any light now. The clone has been alive so I think it will make it. I have a 100% success rate when going straight to soil so I think I will keep doing it this way.

Flower Update:

Day 64 of flower and the ladys are looking good when it comes to smells Stankberry1 is killer I definitely think it’s smells more like the ATF. When it come to looks Stankberry2 is the best looking nugs I’ve grown the smells are great still more of a blueberry. It’s buds are purpling up nicely I think they will be mostly green but some of the lower stuff is straight purple/pink. Stankberry2 has also been drinking a lot less I went ahead and watered it but it’s definitely slowed down a bit. I didn’t take pics of Stankberry1 but it’s not close to being done it has at least 2 weeks. Not sure how much longer Stankberry2 will go but I’m sure this is going to be it’s last week.

Flower Update:

Your two sound very similar to my two. I am chopping the Blueberry leaning pheno today, day 73. I haven't smoked any testers off her yet. The other one is more ATF leaning and she has really been densing up the last week as well as frosting up. I think I will take her on Monday or Tuesday next week (roughly day 77).

I smoked a tester off of my version of your #1, and its definitely got some hair on its ass!!! When a tester has me zooming for 2 hours, I know its going to be good. I will be smoking a tester off the Blueberry pheno today as I harvest her.

I did cut a baby tester I snapped a quick pic it looks and smells so good. It looks purple but it’s really almost a pink.
