ChemDawg D BX 3

Here's pics of one of the mother rejects again, going into the 2 day dark period. The mother is the only one I'm going to let go all the way until the seeds are ready.

How long ago did ya start flushing?

I use organic nutes, and I've read that flushing isn't necessary in that case. What I do is stop feeding 10-14 days prior to chop, and water each time until the water runs out the bottom and floods the 2" deep plastic dish, then take the pot out and put it onto a towel. The towel draws the extra water out of the pot quicker so I can put it back in another dry plastic dish. I do this about 3-4 times before chop.
Yeah, they did plump up. :)
Rock hard nugs, and the bottom popcorn buds are just as good of a high as any top buds I've dried and cured in the 3 years I've been at it. Chopped # 2 today, by the way.....

Mate I loose track of which ones are which with yours , you got your sh** sorted. Are these the ones you started at the beginning of this journal. If they are, how have they grew sooooo fast. Good job matey, :Namaste:

The pics I've been taking are of the plants I decided not to use as a mother. They are the same plants I started at the beginning of this journal. I was going to wait until harvest to take a pic of the mother I'm using.

I see you went with the G.W. mask for your new avitar:thumb:

sorry didn't mean to blow your cover, but I got phsyco shit like that:)cant fool me
and G.W. is indelible in my mind
You noticed, huh? :)

Astounding. Late but subbed up

Welcome, cannasensei. Actually I've got at least 2 and maybe up to 5 generations before I get this first parent stable enough to even work with, so it's not really too late at all. I picked a mother that doesn't have all common traits to the rest of her sisters so it may be 5 generations. The info on the seedbank site doesn't say what the backcrosses were to (his "garlic pheno" Chemdawg D father or to the clone only mother isn't specified). I'm going to light stress the next round to get me a true female. I know I'll be going at least 3 generations with Rezdog's CDDv1.1 to do the same. But it'll be fun. I don't expect to get a keeper the first time out breeding, but I hope to learn a lot.

Oh by the way here's a cola off the first plant I chopped. I think I picked a good place to start. :)

ooh ooh ooh, AHH AHH AHH!!!!!
you should try for nug of the month chimpy:)
I could vote for that:)

Thanks, but I can't take a better pic now half of it's smoked haha :)
There's been a few Chemdog D nugs in those contests already; people's probably getting tired of seeing it around. If I get something good looking again I might toss it in there just for the fun of it. There's some killer weed there though; those folks can grow dope.....

too modest

Haha yeah its a good one Chimpy.

Only nug i ever entered was a Chemdawg D it got 2nd lol :).

This year I am hoping for some more good Chem D nugs, not to mention a few other flavors too :).

I put the mother in the dark period today. I'll wait a few days (maybe 3-4) then take the shade leaves off and trim while standing, then chop and hang her above a tray to dry. I've got a lot of traffic in all my grow units, but as soon as a break comes up (1 month?), I'll pop the first grouping of these into a paper towel. I'll go 1 month of 16/8, then 24/0 for 3 days, 12/12 for 3 days, and repeat this 3 day pattern until they show their all. One good male to keep, then kill the rest and the hermies. I'll choose the parents and put the remaining females into flower for smoke.
