ChemDawg D BX 3

Thanks man here's a pic of the ounce on a stick plant somewhat reduced in weight due to bud rot:

I cut each individual nug off the cola and trimmed the rotten part off. You can see where I trimmed in this pic:

The rest of the plant don't look bad. Golf ball sized nugs :)

I'll be chopping the next original clone soon. Oh, by the way the plant in these 3 pics is in reveg, :peace:

I like these nugs that stay out of the light bleach zone. With about 100 watts per sq.' in this unit, that zone is too far from the bulb, though:

You can see it on this one:

On the other hand, this one need to be fed. I haven't been sticking to feeding every time after a certain point of flower development like I said I was going to. I'll feed it the next time, then try to find out how long a mixed batch of nutes will last before it goes bad (that's the reason I don't feed a plant sometimes; I need less than 1 gallon, so I wait until another plant needs fed too):

I'll get pics up of the seedlings soon.....

:peace:

Note: I RO watered the CDDBX3 clone soon to chop, and fed the other one that's a few weeks into flower a dose of AN Iguana w/all AN organic supplements at full bottle strength. The clone I took isn't doing well, but it's still alive. I always have a backup plan for that, though. I transplanted this Chem project clone from the last breeding into a 2 gallon pot:

I have a round SCROG I made that I'll spread that plant under when I get the room in one of my 12/12 units.

These seedlings are showing variation in size like crazy; I hope that doesn't mean a lot of variation in plant and bud structure later. A few of them don't look well, either..... :(

Upper row, middle plant in above pic: That plant stretched a bit and fell over. I had to smoke a fat juicy blunt just to get a piece of drinking straw to stand that thing back up with, and I had to smoke it all by myself. I hope you all appreciate the sacrifices I'm making here in order to progress marijuana research

Thanks CHH. Man I'm looking so forward to having something stable in my hands to work with. I want a few decent IBL'ed strains to work, too. What I really should do is S1 all of my faves 5 times (I've read that you can also stabilize a strain this way) and use them for crosses. This GDP is A-okay I'm burning a blunt of it right now and I like it plenty so it'll be one of the strains if I do it :)

That effin unit's always full of dope yet I'm always almost outta dope this paradox has been puzzling me since I started growing..... :hmmmm:
lol i know right!! i have plants with branches hanging over but not a gram to use! sucks wet dog fur! so i guess you could plant a new seed every day for 2 months then you will have a harvy every day! in theory i guess

i love gdp one of my top 3 all timers chem d and cheese are the other 2,, im a shit subscriber/friend i realized its been a month snice i parked my bike at your place, things have been crazy busy tho and all sorts of newness going on,new journal coming soon, but thats a lousy excuse , the project is looking great PC i love that budcicle you had shame bout the rot,,i never have that prob here rh averages 10-20% but watering is a daily task,,i'll do my best to not be gone so long again!

really nice plant... damn the bud rot.

Thanks; I'm waiting patiently on a dry bud of it to test, Buckshot. I hope it's good enough smoke to keep, 'cause it yields like crazy. Trust me I'm a cannabis con-a-sewer I know these things (got another blunt in my mouse hand so I'm not gonna scroll up to spell it right) :)

Couldn't they have just called me a wild and weedless simian like some folks 'round here do? ;)

This one's gettin' the ol' choparoo in a few days (after a dark period):

This next one seems to be responding with a lot less yellow, but I think I may need to feed these Chemdawg D BX 3 clones every time right into flower instead of alternating with a watering until 3 weeks. I fed this one today and I'm going to do so every time until the end:

I'll take new clones if these don't live; they don't look good (one is an original of this strain and one is a GDP):

The variation here may be due to the fact that the pollination was late and a lot of the seeds were underformed, but this is the latest on the 4th round of my breeding project. A few look really bad:

I'll post more pics later, :peace:

Update on everything I got going on with this mess :)
I just finished harvesting the CDDBX3 clone I put in the dark period the other day. Another decent yield; I'll take a pic of one of the stems I'm drying soon. I'm diggin' it; it's the first decent sized colas I've had in a while with no bud rot or grey mold, so I decided to give them a halfway decent manicure.
I don't know if I'm going to keep revegging the ounce-on-a-stick plant, but I better decide to start taking care of it soon because it's starting to yellow up some. I'll just give it some food anyway when I feed my seedlings for the first time, which should have been by now but the pots are wet. Because of the bad start I'm having with my next CDDBX3 clone, I decided to reveg that original clone I just chopped today, though.
The seedlings are 3 weeks and 3 days old today, and I'm going to start calling this grow CDDBX3-4 as I mentioned before. Two are still looking bad, and the others vary in size but all the healthy ones seem to be similar in appearance at this point. If out of 9 plants I get 5 females and 4 out of 5 of them look the same I want to do at least 2 more breedings before I start the strain I'm going to cross into it. I'll get a pic of them up soon, too.
The CDDBX3 clone that's next on the chopping block has been going for 5 weeks and 3 days of 12/12, After putting it down out of the light bleach zone and feeding it more, it's managing to keep green. At least for now. I'll get some pics up of that too, and while I'm at it some pics of the ounce-on-a-stick buds. Just for the yield and taste of the weed I'll probably keep it :)

:peace:

Generation 4:

0071329.JPG

I fed them for the first time today, a method that seems to be working on my GDP S1 project so far. I go by the FF feeding schedule subtracting 1 teaspoon from all 3 of the bases whenever they are used (Grow Big, Big Bloom, and Tiger Bloom). I need to get them into 1 gallon pots soon (maybe tomorrow); the bigger ones are looking slightly rootbound.

Here's the next original clone in flower:

0061405.JPG

It's still a bit light green; I'll keep feeding it every time unless I see signs of nutrient toxicity. And here's a clone/reveg from the last breeding grow that looked and smoked nice; I tried to SCROG it:

Here's the whole unit they're in:

0011877.JPG

I'll get pics of some buds up tomorrow, :peace:
