I just brought some citric acid to my buddy for that reason. He decided to bring his outdoor plants into his grow room for harvesting... surprise surprise, he brought the Pm with him (thanks to your postings about it)I can tell you how to get rid of PM...1% citric acid spray.
Looks about there Chef
Yes siree boys. I’ll probably take her down on Tuesday, that’ll be day 63 or soCongrats on the seed
Regarding this, do you spray the whole plant all over top and bottom of leaves, or just problem areas? I assume you apply at lights off as to not burn your plants, do you increase air movement at night to get them to dry off faster? What are the signs that the citric spray are having the desired effects? Do you make any environmental changes?I can tell you how to get rid of PM...1% citric acid spray.
I would not mess too much with the pollen. I know that you go through a drying process with your rice, that I would do.. just to make sure the rH in the container is as low as it can be.Per a conversation going on in my thread, do I need to dry pollen after it's collected (before sealing the ziploc with rice inside)? And how best to do it if I do given the high ambient RH in my neck of the woods.
This is actually something I wanted to discuss with you. You think if I’m drying the buds in the fridge, the seeds will go on maturing for the next couple weeks while the buds are still alive? Or you think the low temps will pretty much stop any maturing action.. in which case I’m better off letting the plant run long?So you're harvesting when the buds are ripe? Will the seeds be fully mature by then?
I spray the entire plant bottom to top in the morning before the sun gets hot. I don't want the water on them too long but I don't want it to evaporate too quickly either. I pull the buds away from the stems and away from each other as I spray to get all the places the PM hides.Regarding this, do you spray the whole plant all over top and bottom of leaves, or just problem areas? I don't know what to tell you about the seeds continuing to mature in the fridge. I do know that if you cut the WHOLE plant down and hang it that while there is water in the plant the seeds will continue to mature. When I reverse a plant for seeds then it's all about the seeds. If the buds / plant have to grow an extra week to 10 days then I'm perfectly okay with that. The buds might be a bit more sedative which most people could live with if it allowed their seeds to mature perfectly. This is actually something I wanted to discuss with you.
