Chef De Green Does It All: Reveg, Clones, Autos & Photos

I can tell you how to get rid of PM...1% citric acid spray.
I just brought some citric acid to my buddy for that reason. He decided to bring his outdoor plants into his grow room for harvesting... surprise surprise, he brought the Pm with him (thanks to your postings about it)

Check it out folks. The beginning of the end of my Terple. First seed harvested... looking a tad green on the end still, I’ll give this plant one more week. She’s stinking like orange today... like fake, vitamin C orange... Like how a chewy tablet tastes - absurdly orange.

So you're harvesting when the buds are ripe? Will the seeds be fully mature by then?

Regarding this, do you spray the whole plant all over top and bottom of leaves, or just problem areas? I assume you apply at lights off as to not burn your plants, do you increase air movement at night to get them to dry off faster? What are the signs that the citric spray are having the desired effects? Do you make any environmental changes?

Per a conversation going on in my thread, do I need to dry pollen after it's collected (before sealing the ziploc with rice inside)? And how best to do it if I do given the high ambient RH in my neck of the woods.
I would not mess too much with the pollen. I know that you go through a drying process with your rice, that I would do.. just to make sure the rH in the container is as low as it can be.

This is actually something I wanted to discuss with you. You think if I’m drying the buds in the fridge, the seeds will go on maturing for the next couple weeks while the buds are still alive? Or you think the low temps will pretty much stop any maturing action.. in which case I’m better off letting the plant run long?

I spray the entire plant bottom to top in the morning before the sun gets hot. I don't want the water on them too long but I don't want it to evaporate too quickly either. I pull the buds away from the stems and away from each other as I spray to get all the places the PM hides.

In a tent I would guess at lights out, but don't crank the fans to make up for it?

And of course, I have no control over my environment anyway :).

The PM sprayed with citric acid just turns to white spots on the leaves. You can tell it's dead because it doesn't wipe off like PM does.

I don't know what to tell you about the seeds continuing to mature in the fridge. I do know that if you cut the WHOLE plant down and hang it that while there is water in the plant the seeds will continue to mature. When I reverse a plant for seeds then it's all about the seeds. If the buds / plant have to grow an extra week to 10 days then I'm perfectly okay with that. The buds might be a bit more sedative which most people could live with if it allowed their seeds to mature perfectly.

I got a lot done this week. I've started up my sulfur burning tent AGAIN as those S%$#A@ Hemp Russet Mites have reappeared again. Not in force like the first time I dealt with them but I found a few so every plant visits the sulfur tent at least 3 times over the next 2 weeks.

My two flowering plants came down this week. I got them trimmed and in the fridge drying. I measured out 30 gallons of twice used organic soil. I need to re-amend it and get it cooking. And I finished up tearing down my 1986 Johnson 70 HP outboard motor for it's rebuild. It goes to the machine shop on Monday to have the cylinders bored and honed. I got my new piston kit ordered today too. Here is a photo of what's left of the motor, the block that's headed to the shop.

And here is the box with all the parts I removed from it. Easy enough to take apart, now I'm hoping I can put it back together again. With me luck!

Man, you sure know how to do it proper eh Beez ?

regarding the seed thing, you’re right. I’ve only gotta do it properly one time.. id hate to have immature seeds because I didn’t wait long enough.

Terple update now folks, today is day 56 - last day of week 8. She’s looking delicious and smelling just as tasty. Her smell has evolved into a sort of medicinal orange. Like that chalky, zingy vitamin c tablet flavor... yeah that’s how it smells. Overtly orange. It’s pretty mouth watering to be honest. I hope that’s exactly how she ends up after a dry and cure.

i had mentioned that I wanted to take this plant down on Tuesday, which would be day 60. Beez made a valid point about the seeds being all important, so on Tuesday I’m going to pick 10 seeds. If I like what I see, I’ll chop her. If a few of the seeds look immature, I’ll go ahead and give her til next Tuesday. Of course if the first few seeds look immature, I won’t keep going to 10.

Check ‘er out

I’m happy I reversed this girl from the get go. This bag of S1s is going to have some very very special things in it.

(This’ll be an edit for you shed) Oh wow, I forgot to mention something. With the fall of this Terple, I’m ending my journal. It’s been a really great year for me in the garden. I’ve grown a lot of plants, using a few different methodologies. It’s been a lot of fun sharing that experience with you all. I’m still here, I’m not going anywhere. As you all know (and voted on), my next run is planned out already. I’ll be back, but this one’s over. Once we all see viable Terple s1s, that will be the true end.
:ciao::thanks:
