Cause She's A Brix House - Noob's OG Kush & Carnival In DBHBB

Beautiful work here noob. What are they about 4 or 5 weeks in? Our OGK hits hard and has/had some great color to her. She finished in 63 days just an FYI. Kinda nice to know we will be smoking on some carnival around the same time. Let us know when you fine up that OGK and we will also to celebrate your successful grow. You need a bigger room lol. Forget the tent and just go for the whole room. Then imagine the size of plants! :bravo:

I'll have a couple hoots with ya!

Hey Nis. I have a tentative harvest date at 55 days but, you know how it goes. The Carnivals are going to be two weeks behind at around 64 days. It's going to be hard to judge when to take them since the trichomes won't turn amber. I'm hoping duggan and the guys can help me there.

Cheers buddy

Forget about breeders times , they mean very little right now....we harvest when pistils have withered and are receding back to the calyx. This is Always when they are ripe and at their most peek potency , just before the THC and other compounds start to breakdown and degrade . Weight is at a maximum, resin concentrations are at a maximum, and gland heads are filled and mature. If harvesting before this....you just cheated yourself out of her best , period! :Namaste:
There....see what happens....Canna follows me around , learns my habbits , then she fu...s off with the DeLorean.........CANNNNAAAA!:bravo:

I knew I could count on you.

I thought the trichomes don't turn amber in kit soil.

You simply misunderstand. They will turn amber if you leave them run long enough, but many times we're ready to take them before any amber begins to show. It's fairly typical that kit plants haven't gone amber but we've gotten impatient. Most of them are sativas and we don't want amber anyway. :laughtwo:

That's good that they might go a little longer. I need all the time I can get to recover. An extra week sounds nice. I'm thinking of taking one plant at a time with the OGK. Might get different highs from leaving the back one in just a smidge longer. Once the OGKs are out of the tent I can let the Carnivals breathe for a week or two before I chop em down. I'm getting excited. My previous harvest is getting me baked but I'm ready for the supercharged stuff.

It's nice to see you around.

:hugs: RoorRip

Remember, you don't even have to chop an entire plant at once - you can take all the tops that look ready and start them drying while you watch the rest of the plant grow. :slide:

I have wondered if that was a possibility. Does the soil continue to send energy to the remaining bud sites? I would think it would stunt the plant, possibly make it go hermy. What am I even asking for? You wouldn't suggest it if any of those things were true. Thanks Graytail

hey Noob...how's all bud! just a reminder about your next crop bud. This is about the time(your grow) that i would be starting seeds and making sure i have the next batch of DBHBB soil cooking. You always want to start with a month overlap with the soil and seed start. This keeps everything on track for the next grow. Not sure of your plans but just sayin OK....have an awesome day my friend!:circle-of-love::high-five:

Thanks for the heads up duggan. I'm growing clones from Growlow for my next grow. I only used half of my last soil so it's been cooking all summer brotha. If Growlow can't hook it up, then I will start some new seeds after surgery. I'm not even sure if I'm going to be starting another journal.

Cheers duggs and tard

Missing you. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:
