Thanks old school. That's exactly what I did now. I have put panda film on my windows so no light or heat gets into the room. I also opened another vent and placed a 6 inch hose in it for more air circulation. We shall see how good it works.

Hey bud, i was just thinken...what time of day are the lights on. I ask ,cuz mine come on at 5 to 5 ...they run all night when it's cooler and electricity costs are about 1/2 (off peak hours).That way when i'm gone all day , i know the GR is quiet and shut down...i feel better this way! Just wondering bud.

Mine are on 12 to 12. I usually don't go to sleep til around 1 so it gives me some time to check on them when the lights first come on. Then, in the morning, I have from 7 when I get up until my son gets up. Is it ideal? No but it gets the job done for now.

Thank you Angry, I've actually been around a bit as key1999. I figured I should switch usernames as I use that at a few non 420 places.

I'm planning on starting a journal with the little ones once they pop their heads up and start growing. It'll be my second grow with docs kit. I'm a few weeks out on my first attempt.

(Edit) I guess I should have kept reading. Thank you Duggan & Noob for the warm welcome as well. You'll be seeing more of me soon I'm sure. I've been on test mode so far with my growing. Stepping things up with this next cycle.

And I agree with you old grower, I've been looking for strains that like my environment.

I started in dwc actually. After several failed attempts I switched to a home made soil mix with autos.

After I got that down I thought I was good to go in high brix. I got lucky and got a pure power plant going in dbhb, but burned through most of my other good seeds. So I switched back to my soil mix with some reg bag seed and now feel confident enough in my germination and seedling rates to move forward.

Ace sativas are starting to pop up today. I can't wait. :slide

Thanks Duggan. I feel like I've got the basics down. I'm working on my cloning skills, but I feel like I'm close. I'm hoping to implement some Pheno hunting and breeding with the plants I'm starting now. Quite a bit to add in right away but why not start it now. If I fail at the breeding part to start with, I'm still growing great plants to smoke.

example..my crown royals were fine at 90 degrees with the leds 12 inches from them..they loved it..you saw the buds...

Our crown royale flux looks like she is getting heat stress or wind burn. She is furthest from the fan and it's 77 under the light. She has been like this for the last 3 months. Meh, she is still growing good lol.

I used to be a season ticket owner with the Texas Rangers. I haven't been to a game since my divorce. I still keep up with them. Thankfully they are in the same division so I get to catch 18 games a year on tv. I should take a trip to Seattle and see them play this season. Ok maybe when my son is 3.

Sprayed my girls with Brix this morning before lights out. I also started taking the lower branches and bud sites off.

The buds are starting to fatten up and there is frosty everywhere. I should take more up close pictures.

In that type of environment, you should be outdoors, no greenhouse. Grow a tropical Sativa, like something from Thailand, Vietnam, etc.

Let the rain do it's thing, along with the sun....you could get epic product, but probably ugly to look at and hermaphrodite to boot! But it will smoke like nothing else.

Well Doc, I really would if I could, but this is the closest as it gets which I could provide haha. It is pretty much outdoor minus the direct growing in the ground and the rain. And it is a makeshift greenhouse in which it has roof and the sunlight is shaded by the UV sheet. Most of all, it is dangerous to grow completely outdoor. With this I also have the benefits of extra artificial lights and more control in the bugs dept. But yeah still if I could plant them directly in the ground in my garden and my family doesnt mind then for sure. Thanks for the advice, Doc. I am also looking for those strains. Maybe I will fetch me some from ACE. I would have to use up all the ones I already have now tho.

Hey guys nice to see you today. It's hot as hell here. I hope you guys are having a good weekend. I got my Vapir rise 2.0 today and tried my first bag. It reminded me of a volcano so that's good. The high is always chill for me so I think I will be using it at night.
