Cause She's A Brix House - Noob's OG Kush & Carnival In DBHBB

Recharge. Thanks for picking that up Cannatard. I know you are well versed in the ways of HB. I appreciate your input. Do you water any different in flower? I just use the lift method. But that might be hard when the plants grow through the screen.

Thanks Cannatard.

I usually feed/water every 3 or 4 days in flower cuz you really don't want them drying out. And, this all depends on the size of the plant, heat and humidity. If theyre large plants and you're running a bit low on RH, 3 days. If your temps and RH are spot on, every 4. Oh, and it also deoends on the size and pot material. I've always used cloth pots

Noob... I'm stressed just looking at your scrog compared to mine. :lot-o-toke:

I'm choosing not to do a scrog this time, but I was going to. It wasn't going to be a true scrog. More of canopy management and support for a beast of a plant. I was going to let her spread out under the screen, then let her grow about 6 - 8 inches through it. Look for the best and tallest tops and prune all the rest just before the stretch ended. Kind of thin out the canopy that way. I don't know how well that would have worked, but it sure does look beautiful in my head.

I cannot wait to see how you tackle yours. Much popcorn will be needed...

We need some kind of song to send Noob off to flower with. A battle song? or the incredible hulk sad walking away song....

Definitely something in D minor :tommy:

Yes mason...good idea brotha...cuz Noob's gonna need a battle song....for sure. Those girls of his are revved up and mean business. They will not be slowed down...they will blow thru that screen...just watch. As soon as they get their next GE Drench with Tea...we'll see them start to motor! Have a great day mason, Noob and friends!:circle-of-love:

That's the attitude, no room for failure. :high-five: I'll be watching with interest too. Tell me you didn't think of tossing a piece of heavy wire fencing onto them? It'd probably work. :laughtwo:

Evenin' Noob. :hugs::hugs::hugs:
I'm letting them get acclimated to their new environment before I start messing with them. Probably going to be tying branches down to my pots to give me some help.
:hugs:

I suggested a cinder block on the screen to hold her down. Then the Hulk sad walking away song after Noob tames the beast...

Don't laugh. I'm seriously thinking about it mason.

I live in the desert so my rh is always between 30 and 45. I'm thinking I will be watering more often in my fabric pots.
When you give drenches, do you just use less water when you mix it up? Thanks Cannatard

They will be getting sprayed some brix in a couple of days. Growth Energy drench coming later in the week. Then the fun begins because they are gonna explode. I'm a little worried. cheers Duggs. Hope your weekend is relaxing and long.

Thanks everyone for the support.

Cheers

Noob,
Lovin the scrog man.
Ill keep watchin!

Depending on the size and density of the plant ill give between 1 and 1.5 gallons every 3 or 4 days. The amount of feed will be the same every time

It's just a more concentrated form of the drench, correct Cannatard? I'm glad I have you guys to help me with this grow. I don't want to be the first to screw up some plants in docs kit. :)

Noob,

I'm trying get to grow some beast plants like you do Stage. Where do you think I got the idea.

Hey there Noob! I've missed it here!

Oh Canna. I've missed you too. I see you around your yard so I have been getting my Canna Montana fix that way.

Mornin Noob, Canna and friends.. how's all today Noob ? Cheers my brotha!:thumb:

Hey Duggs. Due to low humidity, I had to jar my last harvest a little earlier than I wanted to.
The High Brix plants look so happy after their destress spray. They are trying to get past the screen right now but I'm redirecting them. This is going to be an every day thing for the next two weeks isn't it? Hope you had a relaxing weekend my brotha! I stopped by to look at your plants. Just once it would be nice to see you mess up and have a problem or too like us novice growers. But noooooooooooooo. You have to grow big ass, sticky, beautiful plants. ;)

Cheers everyone

RoorRip

Hey bud...that's funny you ask me that...ya, you bet your a... you will have like....every day for a couple weeks as you say, then every two days for another couple weeks...basically for the next four weeks or so, your gonna be busy...more than you thought...but it's a "good" busy cuz they will stretch and grow like mad (once they "start") so , you have , or will have so many lil tops to deal with...so many bud sites. stay with it and wham....unbelievable harvest!:thumb::Love:

I don't want to be the first to screw up some plants in docs kit. :)

On on my second run Noob and getting ready to do my second rescue drench. You'll never be the first. Even after making multiple mistakes on my first, 6.14OZ of very good bud from one plant. I'm starting to wonder if these plants in Doc's soil can even be killed... lol

If I was you, I'd focus on upper-body strength and some cardio vascular exercises to get you through the stretch.

You're safe baby, I broke that ground for you many times and still had a stellar harvest. :laughtwo: It's really, really hard to screw up a kit grow. It's why I find it a good companion method next to my LOS no-tills.

Tents are up and I'm getting ready to drop a couple Carnival seeds. Time to get the kit girls started.

Shove over there friends. My first kit grow produced airy, odorless buds with just a light dusting of trichomes and no resin to speak of. Maybe the lack of resin, or the airiness of buds, then created a bud washing disaster. They came out of the wash smelling like wet socks.
The produce was not good, but yeah, I still smoked it, and yeah, I tried again, and again.

Obviously this was no fault of the kit, but I think I proved pretty thoroughly that it's not foolproof. I just wasn't equipped to control the environment, and a heat wave during early flowering, a couple instances of neglect (they got parched twice during flower), combined to result in 6-8 ounces of really crappy weed.

Cheers! :peace::passitleft:

I forgot about that grow Rascio. :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs:

Are you sure you didn't just get some ditchweed throwback pheno, Rascio? It sounds like you grew yourself some hemp.

I remember you had irregularities, but not anything that could ruin a grow like that. That was odd.

Sue I'm so excited that you're getting your tents back up. I really want to see you grow some monsters. Are you growing in first run soil? Which lights are you putting in the tents? So many questions. :hugs::hugs::hugs:

I was feeling very confident with the kit. Then you come in here and drop a bomb like that and scare me.
I'm playing. : )
Welcome to my little garden Rascio. I might have welcomed you before but I smoke weed so I forgot if I did or not. So, welcome.
I know that of I really try, I can screw this up. But then one of you awesome people or duggan would kick me in the ass and get me back on track. But I'm glad you reminded me that things can go wrong.

Thanks Rascio

Cheers

Quite possibly that too Graytail. All my first grow plants were from seeds though, albeit a strain that nobody seems to grow anymore. (Sensi Seeds Silver Haze). I also had some Afghan Kush, and one odd thing was by the time I gave up waiting for them to finish, the two strains looked and smoked almost identically. They couldn't have all been Kush though, as I only started with two of those seeds, and I grew out 4-5 plants.

Yes, weird. But I have faith! Just ordered more kit supplies in bigger sizes.

Cheers! :peace::passitleft:

Hey everyone....Rascio...did you visit , or follow my Desfran grow...100% Sat, similar to the SSH, you mentioned. Two of the four plants in that grow are still sitting around in jars..about a pound worth...waiting for a BH run...cuz they went something like 15 weeks i think and finished (?) with NO resin. I even forgot to run them thru my "Bags" the last BH run not too long ago. DP released the strain and i got a pheno that just sucked! Anyhow , this "kit" that we all talk about and love...is very worthy of the attention and accolades it gets , along with it's creator, Doc .You know that though ...you have been around here a while. Nice to see you back BTW...cheers Rascio , Noob and gang!:Namaste:

I did indeed Duggan. I've read all or your journals pretty thoroughly. Your crappy results with the Desfrans is a cornerstone of my continued hope and faith!

So good to be back talking with you fine folks.
