Casey Jones #2

they're regular seeds. I run 12/12 from seed because of limited space. they're small because of the problems I had early on. usually my plants are this big by week 2-3. at their current rate of growth I should be able to determine sex by next weekend. I don't think stunting them early on will cause a decrease in yield, but it did set them back a couple weeks. if I stunted them mid grow it would be a different story. learning isn't a bad thing.. learning and sharing is even better.

They are looking better. Here is my seed plant under 100 watts of CFL for 27 days for context. size isnt that much different. Mine have had 24/7 light.

I'm still not getting robust growth from one plant. what gives?

I've lowered the plants a little more again. with the ruler up I was able to take measurements with a lux meter phone app. (lol) which maxes out at 65,000. at 18" it reads 25,000, at 16" 30,000, and at 14" 35,000. at 8" it hits 65,000.

merry christmas everybody! :allgood:

the temperature is 75-80 degrees fahrenheit near the plants lights on and like 60-65 lights off. they should be growing faster, but I can't let it bring me down. some good news is I found one very small pistil on the bigger plant so we have a girl for sure. I'm gonna wait till 12/27 to call it the start of bloom for her.

I don't think I can afford to hand out cigars with these small plants LOL. I have to make a correction, the lux meter app. maxes out 9" away from the leds.

Hey b. just subbed to ur journal. Hoping to learn a couple things from this grow - the led distance is going to be interesting. I have mine about 7-8 inches max above the canopy atm. (However I am in flower).

hey bro. one is growing decent, the other bad. kinda hoping the weak one is a male so I can kill it O.o

never wish for a dude bro, lmao but I know the feeling,

do you think dropping 20 degrees over night, maybe a little cause for slow growth??

happy new year B.Real:volcano-smiley:

I think I've seen plants change their speed of growth, after a large temperature change.
