Classics!! I love your taste in episodes! :high-five:

How long have you lived in SB?
I live in Santa Maria, about 70 miles north of Santa Barbara, but it's in SB County-we're like SB's red-headed stepchild-they get all the benefits from our tax dollars, and we get the leftovers-and there ain't much left over...
Sorry I took so long to get back to you,@John Wick -I don't know where the notifications are going, but they're not getting to me....

Everybody seems to be complaining about getting notifications in the last three days.

Yes, I know the area.

In the 80's I used to free style with the company's half a million dollar charter bus and took out your phone lines.

I got tipped well doing that .

Hey carcass! Great looking buds and girls last round! Taking a late seat here if you don’t mind? 52 pages of your progress was an awesome journey and looking forward to seeing how the new ones turn out. You’re proof that with a bit of patience and creativity, anyone can have great plants!

Hey carcass!

Hey, NBT!,Welcome to 420,and welcome to my journal! :welcome:
Thanks for the kind words !
I've finally got something growing again in "the box",so well see how it's
going to work this time...The new plants are autos,so I don't really know
how it's going to go...might go well, might not, but I'm doin' it either way :)
Stop in anytime-I'll be doing my weekly update in a few minutes-nothing too exciting yet,but it's still early...

Monday again,so it's update time!
After trying 5 seeds,I finally got 2 to sprout-a week apart...
The Purple Punch auto sprouted on 8/17 & the GDPxGumberry auto sprouted 8/23.
Two of the other 3 seeds were DOA,and one just plain died on me...I guess I could have screwed them up
but I'm thinking I just got shipped some seeds that were past their prime-but who the hell knows... I've finally got something to put in the box,so it's all good now.

This is them earlier today in the 2 led "seedling chamber"
1.JPG

I'm just going to call this one the GDP,because it's easier to
type than "Granddaddy Purple x Gumberry"
It's actually doing well, compared to how that other one started(GDP in front)
2.JPG

This one (Purple Punch) didn't do much above ground for about 6 days, then it started growing-most of this leaf action happened in the last 3 days...
4.JPG

She was just growing roots for the first week, evidently

5.JPG

Those roots hanging out the bottom tell me it's time to move her to a bigger home,
so today was also transplant day- into her 3 gallon permanent home.
She's going into the same soil she sprouted in-Black Magic soil, with a bit of Dr.Earth organic fertilizer,it's been "cooking" for about a month.
She's in the box now,but I'm going to wait to turn the big light on until the GDP gets transplanted.
She also got the first 4 grams of her soon to be favorite beverage,Mega Crop in a gallon of
pH'd water (pH6.3)

6.JPG

She's not yellow, just looks that way in the pic-I'm thinking the GDP will be joining her
on Friday,or whenever the roots pop out the bottom of the solo cup.

That's it for now for those seedlings, now we'll look in on Ms.Cheese-lots of sun this week,so she grew a full 6 inches since the last update-34" tall now...
7.JPG

She's not flowering yet,but there's plenty of pre flowers everywhere,so it probably won't be long now.
Her branches are reaching out well,so she's getting a little more "girthy"
8.JPG

The bugs are pretty much leaving her alone, except for a few whiteflies (which I'm not worried about yet, because there's only 3 or 4) and the caterpillars I had to spray for last week (Safer brand caterpillar killer- that shit works great!).
She's real stinky already, maybe that's why the bugs aren't very interested.
Here's one more pic of her...just because she's kinda pretty...
11.JPG

And that's about it for this weeks update-I should have both autos in the box under the real light by this time next week,so things may slowly get more interesting up in here...

Thanks to all for looking,I really appreciate all of you!

See you around the forum, and back in here next week
I sincerely appreciate your support-Have a great week everyone :peace:

Great progress! I've been on the hunt for some mega crop in Canada. The only option so far is a big bag as everything else seems out of stock. Not sure I'm ready to drop a hundred bucks on it so held off.

To my surprise, I visited the local supply store for the first time a few minutes ago and he said he has access to Gaia and may be able to get mega crop too and also suggested a place about an hour away he believes stocks it. His boss is going there tomorrow so may bring me back a bag. *fingers crossed* I plan on using it for a couple grows until I can try Doc's high brix method. I'm in desperate need of something as I noticed this morning when admiring the girls there are some hairs growing so I dont have much time left before I am forced to flip them.

Cheese is looking outstanding.
Thanks,SO..She's doing as good as that male I had out there- If this sunshine keeps up,
she may end up fairly large-she's still got "the stretch" coming up,whenever she decides "it's time"

I contacted Greenleaf Nutrients about that, and their reply was:

"hi, we have sizes from 300g, 750g and 2500g. However our Canada stock is out now! So it may be over a month until we replenish our Canada stock.
You can order from our USA site, and we will ship from USA to Canada if you want these smaller sizes now. Sometime around mid August we will replenish Canada stock with all sizes again."

This was 15 July. We should see all sizes available in Canada within the next two to three weeks.

on the hunt for some mega crop in Canada.
The 2500g bag is available on the Greenleaf Nutrients website for $26.00-650 gallons worth.
That sounds like a lot ,but you'd be set for a couple years-2 years of nutes for 26 bucks is a helluva deal,really-$13.00 a year to grow great cannabis.(plus shipping,of course...but still....)

Amazon just got there’s, maybe Canada’s on the way . I’m amazed in hydro how well it does ! I’ll use more in hydro, but it’s about $13 worth I used in flower .

but it’s about $13 worth I used in flower
I forget that not everyone grows only 2 plants...still cheap,though :)
**edit** 3 plants-I forget about Ms.Cheese-she's on 5g/gallon now.

Compared to the $400-500 spent on AN nutrients on each grow I’m amazed. Now if the seeds to these OGs were really 27% thc , plus I think it has a trait problem. After three clone grows it varies 5-10% thc ! It will be rosin !

This is the size I’m after. According to their site it’s $40 CAD. I’m hoping the guy from the store calls this week with good news that he found some. I told him I wanted the biggest for $50 or less so I’m expecting that’s what he’ll bring if they have it. If not I’ll keep checking the Canadian site for the 2500g bag to go back in stock. Hopefully soon based on what Old Salt said.

Edit.. apparently I don’t know how to quote? Lol
Edit again.. got it! Haha
