Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

To remove chems, excess nutes, crap from your gals.
I don't know anyone who uses chems or crap, but it is scientifically impossible to flush nutrients from your buds. Read this post and the links if you're really interested.
Let me give my one and only reason for a flush at the end... to clear out salt restrictions that might block some of the potential uptake of nutes and water during the final bud swell. I don't give a flip what nutes might be left in the plant at the end... the cure takes care of that.
You don't recommend flushing at the end though, you recommend a one time clear out about 3 weeks before harvest and then regular nutes from then on.
All the Chlorophyll should be long gone after 35 to 45 days, not to mention the sugars and the like that break down to make the " cured " bud.
Great info, thanks Madd!

I'm sure this has been asked and answered a kabillion times, but does the "rinse" need to be done with pH'ed water??
My tap water is close to 8.0 is why I'm asking

Good Morning, @Backlipslide ...
It went well- at first I thought it didn't work-But,as I was packing a little Super Glue (because the PC didn't work)....I realized that I was slowly getting a very pleasant, strong buzz...so I put the pipe away...
She's a creeper-nothing for the first 5-6 minutes, then it starts working it's magic, and working it very well...by the ten minute mark,I was officially baked...
I've actually never gotten that high from one hit of anything before....but ,in the name of science & research...
I'm going to have to test it again tonight- just to make sure...in fact the first thing I did this morning was pluck another couple of little "research buds"...;)
Sounds fantastic carcass!

Thanks,HH,it was really nice-I usually get a little anxiety for the first ten minutes or so after smoking, but it seems to have skipped that part-just nice n' mellow & I slept like a baby!

I stand corrected. All of those I mentioned are leaving the salts you mention. This broken soldier suffers with tbi which greatly affects and confuses much within my memory but you get what I said. I left that universe long ago in favor of the living soil grow approach. "Out of sight, out of mind". Please excuse this as I mean well. Not a scientist but am a very naturally skilled grower. Been in gardens since I was 5 yrs. young.

Thanks @InTheShed & @Emilya I think the PC only has about a week to go,so I'll "rinse" the Northern Lights-She's going to be a slow finisher by all indications

If your asking me, then no, they are some of my harvest from last years outdoor grow of Mama Mia, Jack Herer and Saint Bilbo.

That pile above is of the Mama Mia. Indica! Made 1/2 my 2019 oil needs from this pile (2 lbs, 4 ozs dry wieght) along with the J.H.
I make the oil and load it into gelcaps at .3 grams per cap. One a day has kept me off VA prescribed opiates and out of my wheelchair since 2010ish...also make rosin, live rosin, hashish, tincture, balms and lotions. I also love cooking with cannabis. This little pile is of mostly the red hairs. Decarbed for culinary use

I do the same with rosin. De-carb, mix with coconut oil, and encapsulate. Before I bought the press I decarbed the flowers, ground them up, and put the powder into capsules. The strength varied. This inconsistency prompted me to buy the rosin press. The next step is a cannabiniod test kit to get the exact mix I want by mixing strains.

Yep, had the same issue when I started on this path. Now the flowers are used to enhance the concentrates, plus variety is essential I feel.

That's terrific news PH and I hope the tbi is under control as well. :welldone:

I take CBD oil for my post-concussion syndrome that I make from Candida plants. I had the oil tested at 10.56 mg CBD/ml and 0.5 mg THC/ml, so it's perfect to replace the stuff I used to buy over the internet.

That mound on the table is incredible (love the purple leaves too!) and that garden ain't too shabby either :).

Jeez -I feel bad that all I do is smoke it...I'm just one of those lazy stoners...:)
The things you guys do with your cannabis is nothing short of amazing!

I didn't have a choice. All the strains I tried had me trying to cough up a lung.
