Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

This is easily my favourite part of the grow.
I like this part too, but not as much as the part where they go into the jars for curing... ;)
And, at least 3 of our sponsors carry it, i.e. @Herbies Seeds , @George from The Vault and @Delicious Seeds .
Thank You, HashGirl!
I haven't been seed shopping lately, or I might have known that...:hmmmm::thanks:

Thanks so much, HH
So far, so good..!:cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks, Boo!
Hopefully you like her buds as much as I do!
I hope so too, because I'm probably going to have a crapload of it!...well, maybe not a crapload,... but quite a bit... :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thank You, T
Us folks in the states think you're pretty special too!:high-five:

Happy Dads day Carcass, from what Ive heard youve done a fine job in that area.

Tbh I barely wish my own Dad a happy fathers day, but he doesnt grow weed, I think theres a lesson in that for all of us.

Not to mention all the surrogate girls your Grow Daddy style has influenced.

Hope you had a ripper. I still come spy, even if I dont jump in that often, to see your beautiful grow/s.

Thanks for the kind words, DV8, and welcome to my journal !:thumb:

And since it's Monday...it's time for an Update on my little garden(s)!
Sorry it's so late- Mrs.C.'s aunt died last week, and the funeral was today...:rip:

First up is the GSC-84 days old now, flipped to 12/12 34 days ago, flowering for around 24 days...
She's between 21-23" tall now, so the canopy is a bit bumpy, but not too bad...
3.jpg

14" from the light to the canopy, which is about as close as I want her to get...although, she doesn't give a rats ass what I want, so all I can do is hope shes done getting taller...
1.jpg

Sorry I can't get any better side view pics, but a lot of her is above the door opening.
And she won't be coming out of the box till harvest time..I could get her out ok, but I don't think I'd get her back in without doing some real damage...

And now on to the outside ladies- first up, the 16" tall, 77 day old DarkDevil auto - flowering for apx. 50 days, she's doing real well out there- getting a little more purple every day...

The potted outdoor plants, and the GSC are all being fed the same thing-5.5g/gal/mc, 4ml silica, 1g Aloe Vera powder, and a tiny bit (.25g) of "Easy Weed"to add a little potassium to their diets...

5.jpg

One of her buds- still lots of new pistils, so she's going to get a little fatter before the end...
5a.jpg

And the one with the odd, foxtaily buds, the 23" tall, 77 day old Wookiee auto...Not much to her, really, but what there is on her is pretty darn frosty
7.jpg

She's still putting out fresh pistils too, just not very many.
Fortunately, I don't mind foxtails at all..:cheesygrinsmiley:

Lastly, the 2 that are in the ground out there..The White Chem is 72 days old, and the Kalashnikov x Wookiee is around 60 days old. They've been fed nothing but @GeoFlora Nutrients since day 1, and other than the fact that they're both runts, (not GeoFlora's fault) they've stayed pretty healthy...
9.jpg

A White Chem bud- looks like she'll be some pretty good weed, there just won't be much of it...
those webs are from a little spider that's lived on her for about a month now...
10a.jpg

Other than a few whiteflies, no bugs have bothered any of these outdoor plants- but, they've got a ways to go so that might change....

And that's about it for today!
Thank You for looking, I appreciate the support...:thanks:

I hope the rest of the week goes well for you all!

Mrs.C.'s aunt died last week, and the funeral was today..
My condolences to the missus and her whole family. :(

With a plant that size ya gotta figure bumpy into the equation!
she doesn't give a rats ass what I want
You will win in the end, that's a guarantee. :thumb:

I know how you feel. Coming out of the shed is easy. Going back in always seems to scrape the biggest flowers!

As I recall, 4 out of 5 dentists prefer the DDAs that ran long. It's a beaut!

That's great! If the aphids haven't found them yet maybe they're happy somewhere else. :)

My condolences to the missus and her whole family
Thanks, Shed- She broke her hip on Monday, and by Wednesday she was dead...we weren't real close, but she was a very nice lady... she'll be missed.

I usually take them out a lot, so it's odd, having to leave her in there the whole grow...

They must be- I've been checking them every day, and have yet to find an aphid, or anything else, except 8 or 10 whiteflies, and they're only on the Wookiee.

Good afternoon C Curve :)

Omg the perfect curve you get on your frame work makes my heart sing! Mine looks like a dogs breakfast in comparison!

I’m also wondering if I’m not thinning out my foliage enough and would appreciate your opinion if you could take a look at Cleo in the journal I made for her.

She really is just beautiful. When does the stretch stop? Like approximately.

Hi, T
I’m also wondering if I’m not thinning out my foliage enough and would appreciate your opinion if you could take a look at Cleo in the journal I made for her
Cleo looks just about right- if anything, maybe remove just a few more leaves in the center area.
In her pic, you can see through her a little (you can see the wall behind her)- I'd say remove a few more leaves, till you can see "through" her a little bit better...not sure if I explained that very well...?
Although, if you just leave her the way she is, she'll do just fine too..

Thanks, T!
The GSC stretched for a little over 3 weeks- a couple of the taller branches are still growing, but very slowly now..

Hey C!

Those outdoor girls are nice but that Great Stacking Cannibas plant is a real scene stealer! Wow! :Rasta:

Good morning C Sunrise!

Thanks! I’ll do it today :)

Thanks, GDB! Today she's a Great Stinky Cannabis plant-:cheesygrinsmiley: it's hot here (85f in the box), and when she gets warm, she really puts out the smell!...come to think of it, she might be thirsty...I need to check that..:hmmmm:
Thanks! I’ll do it today
Cool!, yeah, it should help with air circulation through the plant, maybe even prevent a bit of bud rot down the road... :high-five:

Spiders make good bodyguards outdoors.

Spiders make good bodyguards outdoors.
Yes they do!
If I find a spider in the yard, I'll put it on one of the plants- sometimes they'll stay, sometimes not.
The plants with resident spiders do seem to have fewer "other" bugs on them...

Condolences to your wife and family on the loss of her aunt Carcass.
Thank You, Boo- It's a sad situation..now that she's passed away, her 85 year old husband (of 65 years)
Is all alone in their big ol' house...that's got to be rough...:(
Your plants are all looking lovely, especially the GSC
Ha! I'm actually a little surprised that she didn't outgrow the box...
