Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Thanks, VG! She really is doing great- that seed fairy picked a real good one...
I made a wish on a star and I think the seed fairy is going to visit me in the land Down Under where the women glow and men plunder!

Happy Monday everyone! Time for an Update on what's growing...

First up, the GSC from the SoCal seed fairy...

She's 72 days old, flipped to 12/12 22 days ago, first flowers showed up 8 days ago...
Her canopy is a little bumpy now, but not too bad...
1a.jpg

She's doing pretty well...21" tall now- this pic is 2 from days ago @ 19.5 inches tall:
This is the last pic where you can get a side view of the canopy- she's too tall for that now...

And today- She's 21" tall, and now the same height as the door opening...So she's grown 11.5 inches since the flip (she started at 9.5")
So, evidently, it is possible to grow a plant taller than the usual 17"in the box!

She enjoys 5.5g/mc+4ml silica and .5g Aloe Vera powder every 3 days, and she's real happy with that...

Here's a couple of her 8 day old buds...

And now on to the outdoor ladies- first, the 2 in pots:

First, the 54 day old Wookiees auto- she's 23" tall, and starting to fill in a little...still a bit sparse, though
These are both being fed 5.5g/mc, 4ml silica, and .5g /aloe vera powder/ gal.
She's a very stinky girl...
5.jpg

Here's her triple bud- nice n' frosty but not very big yet...
6.jpg

Next up, the 54 day old DarkDevil auto  18" tall now, and also starting to fill in a little.
She's a real healthy little plant...oddly, she smells a little like peaches:hmmmm:
7.jpg

Lots of purple on her...
8.jpg

On to the 3 autos in the ground:

First, the 8" tall Wookiees runt- she's 65 days old, and starting to fade a little...I'm going to predict a 7g harvest for this tiny lady...:)
9.jpg

White Chem is 16" tall, and doing pretty well- she's also 65 days old, and starting to show her age a bit...
She looks like there may be half an ounce or so on her...
And last, the 7" tall Wookiees x Kalashnikov is 54 days old, and even shorter than the other runt- another 7g harvest, probably.
10.jpg

And that's about all today...
Thanks for looking I appreciate the support:love:

I'm not planning on doing a training update this week, but if there's anything anyone would like me to go over, repeat, or clarify, just let me know!:thumb:

Quotes:

Or, hopefully, bend,bend...

I was concerned about that for awhile, but I think she's about done stretching at 21", and she's still apx. 17" from the light...She no longer fits through the door, so, no matter what happens, she's in there to stay until harvest day...no silhouette shots, unfortunately...

Thanks, Beez! I think they will, and, since there won't be much of it, it'll probably be some great smoke!

In due time, grasshopper...in due time :cheesygrinsmiley: ...

I'm working on it as we speak...
You really are my grow messiah C Bomb, you really are!

Great update, Carcass! Your GSC is stunning. If it gets too tall, @Emilya is doing some interesting things with applying a red light to her grows to slow down the stretch.

You added aloe vera powder to the feed? What does the it do for your plants?

made a wish on a star and I think the seed fairy is going to visit me in the land Down
I think I know that seed fairy!
You really are my grow messiah C Bomb, you really are!
Thank you for the nice words, but Cleo is all you, Trala! All I did was give you a little advice, you did all the real work, and you did it exceptionally well:adore:

Thank You, HashGirl!

It's a supposed to be good for plants, lots of growth hormones and other good stuff in it...
@BakedARea uses it too, in fact he's the reason I started using it. He can probably give you a more educated answer than mine...
I can say that it definitely doesn't hurt anything, and the 3 plants I'm using it on have had zero problems since I started using it...but, I can't say for sure that it's the reason..
That made me think that the box should grow Jack Herier and play Pop Goes the Weasel,
Ha! The old Jack(Herer) in the box trick, eh?:cheesygrinsmiley:

I was in the dollar store today, spotted these cool little 5ml. jars in the crafts section- 5 for $1.25...
the lid even has a gasket, so they're air tight and smell proof!
Seems like they might be pretty handy for seed or pollen storage...or...if you had to mail something that
you really didn't want to get crushed, they'd work for that too! ;)

You could also cure a tiny amount of weed in them...I should be able to just about fill one of them with that runt I've got growing outside...:cheesygrinsmiley:

Great find C!

I'm a big Dollar Store fan so I fully understand the joy you probably felt finding these! :)

On one of my Dollar Store hunts a few months back I found these for $1.25 each.

The jar not the lighter.

I've been trying to figure out a neat little system for grinding up a variety of weed to choose from when I smoke. Kind of like a little "library". Those might work for that! Off to the dollar store tomorrow!

That whole purchase and post just to make the runt joke..
Actually, that joke reminded me that I've never checked trichomes on the runt, so I finally took a look at them a little while ago, looks like she's probably been ready for a week or so- It's hard to tell when they've stopped drinking water when they're in the ground..
And when you need to get on your hands and knees in the dirt to check trichomes, trichomes don't get checked very often either...
So, she's getting chopped in just a few minutes (68 days old)...the White Chem is close, but not quite there yet, I'll probably give her another week..
I'll post up pics of the "big" harvest in a few minutes

Those might work for that!
And, as an added bonus, they're cute as hell too!

And when you need to get on your hands and knees in the dirt to check trichomes, trichomes only get checked once don't get checked very often either...
FTFY!

That's because your mind and body both say nooooo!
Ha! They don't say nooo as much as they say "maybe tomorrow"...:high-five:
..and you're exactly right!
Carcass “knows no bounds” when it comes to his updates
Thanks , NTH!

And now for the tiny harvest Update!

The outdoor Wookiees runt is now history...harvest took about 20 minutes, start to finish...

A few minutes later...

I thought I was kidding when I said she'd be a 7 gram plant...apparently, I was serious... :)

And that's it for that one!...she's tiny, but she stinks like a big girl!
