Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

It's all @Justin Goody's fault - He got this whole thing started when he dropped
off both of those seeds last year...;)

Now that sounds like a plan!
Yes it does! And we know how my plans can go. :Rasta:

Yep, sorry for both of those
You make freebies look the best, @Carcass
Wait til I see you next time, I’ll have some late Father’s Day beans…some new flavors have materialized ;)

OMG... I've reached the end!? Been reading this journal for almost two weeks now. All I can say is "wow!" what a journey, and so many amazing plants. That SSH is one of my favourites, and I'm considering ordering a seed or two. Since I'm definitely an Indica girl, that's saying something lol.

Can't wait too see how that IG turns out! She's definitely a chunky girl!

Thank you for the kind words, Dawn!
You read the whole thing?...Glad you enjoyed it, and feel free to stop by anytime you're in the neighborhood- the IG should be done in about two weeks- should be a pretty good harvest from that lady!
And Welcome back to 420, we're glad you're here :welcome: !

Been busy with the grandkids for the last 3 days, but today I've finally got some time
to do the Monday Update...

Things have been going pretty well- the Iced Grapefruit is still fattening up a bit @ 103 days old
flipped to 12/12 52 days ago, first flowers 43 days ago.
She's still living on @GeoFlora Nutrients veg nutes, supplemented with a little of @Blue Planet Nutrients Cal-mag pro & Easy Weed.
She finally stopped dropping leaves....I'm glad she stopped before she ran out...
She's still surprisingly green for this late in the game...Allegedly, she'll be done in about a week, but I'm not too sure about that- she's still cranking out the pistils and drinking more than ever...

I used skewers to prop up some of the colas that were falling over sideways...I think they'll all have to be propped up by the end, whenever that may be....:hmmmm:
2.jpg

Here's a few of her buds...they're getting pretty big now...with a little foxtailing on the biggest ones- I don't mind foxtails- they smoke just fine
3.jpg

I turned the @Atreum Lighting Hydra-1000 down to 50% for the pics- gives a better representation of how she really looks, color-wise...

And the silhouette shot:

Now on to the two outdoor girls (both autos)

First, the Chocodope- 34 days old, started flowering on day 28 (6 days ago) she didn't do much stretching till yesterday, but she's grown 2 inches in the last 24 hours, so she's going for it now...yesterday morning she was 8" tall, today she's 10" tall
7.jpg

I removed all of her restraints now- since she's outside, she can do what she wants from here on in...
I think she's going to do real well- not as good as @BooWho2 's:high-five:, but not bad either...

Here's one of her little budlets:
9.jpg

And lastly, there's the little Amnesia- 24 days old, and not growing much....
probably didn't help her when I broke her upper arm off on Saturday....
10.jpg

She's just starting to flower, so hopefully she stretches a bit- she really hasn't done much so far- she's not quite a runt, but she's sure growing slow for an auto.
11.jpg

I don't think she's going to amount to much, but I could be wrong- we'll know more in a week or so...

And that's about all I've got today!
Thanks for looking, I really appreciate the support..:peace:
And if you haven't been vaccinated yet, please consider gettin' it done soon!

That IG looks more amazing this Monday than it did last Monday!
The Chocodope is robust!
And the Amnesia is setting you up for a big surprise!

Grow on, distant relative. :Rasta:

Thanks, GDB!

I don't know about that- I was just outside tucking one of her few leaves out of the way, and I broke it off...
I think I'd better just stop touching that one...

Happy Monday Carcass! :ciao: The IG is gorgeous as ever, and those long, green, sativa leaves are gorgeous as ever.

Really glad to see you got 4 weeks out of Chocodope before flowering started. She’s looking stunning as well. IIRC I believe I got something like 17” in stretch, and every day there was another inch or two - much like yours is doing. :high-five: I’m so excited to see how she does for you. So far so good! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Since I’m here…I was wondering how you go about hardening little seedlings for outside? I need to get 2 autos hardened (as well as some GSCs) but it just seems so darn hot to do it well. Any thoughts on that? :thanks:

down to 50% for the pics- gives a better representation
That’s an excellent tip I need to try out. And as GDB and Boo said that Iced Grapefruit is simply marvelous.

Thanks, GDB!

More sausage mayhem!

Yeah, Boo- that Chocodope gave me just enough time to get her framework set before she started with the flowering- I think I'll get about 12 more branches than if I'd left her alone.
We've got a week of sunshine and 90+ temps coming up, she's gonna love that!
I was wondering how you go about hardening little seedlings for outside?
With the newer (not blurple) led's, it's not as critical as it once was, but I still give them a day of spotty sunshine under the apricot tree before sitting them in direct sunlight- in hot weather, I'd give them an extra day in the semi-shade.
That’s an excellent tip I need to try out.
Just don't forget to turn the light back up when you're done... :)(it's been done before)
More sausage mayhem!
I know, right? I really think I need to just leave that plant alone...there's
not a whole lot left to break off..

The Chocodope is robust!
Oooo, I like that! What a perfect grow compliment.

More beautiful work by carcass. That IG is igsane, I can’t believe she’s still chugging along. Work girl! :cheer:

Thanks, GDB!

I think Amnesia growing this summer might be bad luck. I believe @BooWho2 also broke an arm off her Amnesia and here's what mine looks like today. Sorry for the blurriness. It wouldn't focus on the head, which is what I was attempting to show. I think part of the leaves came off with the seed shell, at least that's the way it looks to me. I only had the one seed so if it doesn't grow, I'll have to start something else. The second Blueberry isn't growing either.

Sorry it took so long to respond, I had to go visit my Mom at "the home"....
Your garden looks beautiful
Thank You, Trala- yours is also shaping up nicely!
I can’t believe she’s still chugging along. Work girl!
The way she's still putting out the fresh pistils, she's gonna be with us for awhile yet...nevertheless, I do need to get something going to (eventually) fill her spot...
I think Amnesia growing this summer might be bad luck.
I'm inclined to agree with that- it seems to be a bit more brittle than what I'm used to....and there's not a whole lot left for me to break off... so I think I may just leave her alone from now on...
I hope yours pulls through, HG! Even in the blurry pic, I can tell something's missing there....

Good point, Boo- I got the bad luck stuff out of the way early, so from here on in- nothin' but smooth sailing- I am going to ease up a bit on the training though- I think she's telling me she "no likey" the bondage thing ...
That Chocodope sure seemed to enjoy it though ...
