Carcass, I will be trying your gummy recipe out this week, although I can’t seem to find a method of infusing the oil (I will be using olive oil). What would you recommend?

I use a crock pot for making salve, but I use the MB2 for making oil.@InTheShed has a tutorial on the crock pot method
I plan on doing a cup of oil, and oz of my Hindu Kush bud.How much oil are you going to infuse?
Thank you, I am still waiting on my gelatin, and was not aware of the sunflower lecithin needed. I am glad I asked!Good luck with the gummies, if you need to know anything else about the process, let me know and I'll do my best to answer your questions.
The Rams managed another win so it was a good Sunday! I hope yours was good as well!Have a great Sunday!
This is great, thank you, Boo and @Amy Gardner!Oil recipe
This is from @Amy Gardner. I’ve used it a couple times and it works great. The decarbed time and temp that Carcass referenced above (90 mins at 240) has been confirmed as the proper time/temp by Shed since the tutorial was originally posted.
I will be attempting the mason jar/instant pot method. Wish me luck!I use a crock pot for making salve, but I use the MB2 for making oil.
You will be fine. Please post your gummy results! It’s a great recipe.I will be attempting the mason jar/instant pot method. Wish me luck!
Get the liquid one rather than the powder/crystals.sunflower lecithin
Thanks for clarifying that! I need to pay a little closer attention...I use a crock pot for making salve, but I use the MB2 for making oil.
Good Luck, DAB!I will be attempting the mason jar/instant pot method. Wish me luck!
Yes, @DutchinAB - let us know how it goes! I'll be making some more gummies this afternoon also...You will be fine. Please post your gummy results! It’s a great recipe.
I didn't know they made powdered sunflower lecithin- I did use granulated soy lecithin for my first couple of batches- I assume it worked alright (how do you tell, anyway?)but now I prefer the LSL...it is just a tad messier than the granules though...like honey that doesn't wash off...Get the liquid one rather than the powder/crystals.
Hi, Amy! I'm here...would of been in here sooner, but I had a dentist and a doctors app't this morning.@Carcass
I had a covid test today before my colonoscopy on Thursday, but I keep turning down the dentist! Lying in a closed space with my mouth open for 20 minutes seems to be contraindicated these days. They may be protected from the patients but I'm sure not!I had a dentist and a doctors app't this morning.
I don't care much for the dentist thing during the pandemic, but I have a cavity that I need to get filled
Don't you hate those 2am feedings? She needs water every 2.5 days now
I'm hoping that's how it goes! The box will be rammed full of buds in a few weeks.
Thanks, Fred! ... and I am staying stoneder, but I'm still a lightweight!Looking great carcass! Very healthy.
If it were anything but a cavity, I wouldn't be going there...but I've been putting it off for awhile already, and like a lot of things, ignoring a cavity doesn't make it go away... I haven't had a toothache for 40 years and I really don't want another one.Lying in a closed space with my mouth open for 20 minutes seems to be contraindicated these days.
If that were the case, she'd just go thirsty till morning...Don't you hate those 2am feedings?
Absolutely bursting with good health, CarcassThanks for clarifying that! I need to pay a little closer attention...
Good Luck, DAB!

Hi, Amy! I'm here...would of been in here sooner, but I had a dentist and a doctors app't this morning.
I don't care much for the dentist thing during the pandemic, but I have a cavity that I need to get filled before it starts to hurt..there's not much I hate more than a toothache... first cavity in 40 years...
I may have to cut down on the chocolate just a little...
And, while I'm here, might as well do a little Tuesday journal update....
The Super Silver Haze is doing well- no problems at all yet- 20 days since the flip, 69 days old...
the Saugaview®:
The canopy is not so flat now- some branches are growing a bit slowly- on the plus side, she hasn't outgrown the box yet...She needs water every 2.5 days now, still being fed 5.5g MegaCrop+4ml Silica Blast.
I thinned out a lot of the undergrowth- A few leaves, but mainly just the little branches that weren't going to reach the top anyway...I'll clean it up a little more when she's done stretching.
Not much of a stalk on this one...there used to be, but tying the branches down sort of pushes it down into the ground. In this growspace, a long stalk is just wasted space anyway. The main branches will be tied down right up to harvest time.
Starting to get a few trichomes now-
And a silhouette shot- she can grow 5 or 6 more inches before height becomes a problem- she's about 15" tall now...
So that's about all there is today!
Thanks for looking- I appreciate the support!
I hope you're all having a great (or at least"not shitty") new year!
Thanks, Sye! Unfortunately, I'm not done with the dentist yet-they couldn't do it yesterday, so I go back next Tuesday....I'm sure this virus thing will be under control by then....SSH is looking fantastic, Carcass! Well done on clearing the dentist and doctor in one day.
Thanks for the compliment, GDB!How long did you keep her in veg?
Thanks, Trala - So far, so good! She's been fed 5.5g/gal. of Mega Crop for the last 3 feedings, and she's so happy with that I'm just going to keep it there till she looks like she needs more.Absolutely bursting with good health, Carcass
