I'll call it that.... and probably a few other things, too...You can call it a dud if it starts flowering later this week.
No worries- it's just the luck of the draw, and they can't all be "gems"...Man I need to quit sending you duds lol.
Ultra Lemon Haze is up next- I've got a ton of indica, so I need a little sativa to round things out- plus, when you've only got indicas, everyone seems to want sativa...What’s next if this one doesn’t get with the program?
Hi, Dean!I’m thinking about starting some autos ,
Once the second set of true leaves start, come in at 1g/gal of megacrop. The third set you should be at 2g and hold there until the start of the fourth set. At that point I'm looking at the plant to see how fast she is growing and may go to 2.5g or 3g.
That's good to hear- I'll probably get one started in the next few days- I've only got 1 ULH seed, soI'm diggin the ULH grow so far.
It probably just seems early to me, because they're usually a bit bigger when I start the MC...this one seems to be running about 4 days behind, which will still work, as long as it doesn't start flowering ridiculously early...I don’t think you are early on the MC.
That is the way it goes isn’t it!!plus, when you've only got indicas, everyone seems to want sativa...
CBD pot is easier-is it indica or sativa?- who gives a shit...it's cbd! That is the way it goes isn’t it!!
just never happy!!
Thanks, Trala!you’re doing amazing sweetie!
Cause?It's not growing much
Why?She was still under the 2 little led bulbs till yesterday
The petioles on my GTG bagseed were all bright pink/purple. I’m hoping it’s just a genetic thing, it seems to be doing great so far.Time for a little update on the Super Silver Haze auto...
It's not growing much, in fact it's pretty damn slow, but it did grow a little...
Up-potted her on Thursday to a 3 gallon (day 11), then she got topped on Sunday (day 14)
She was still under the 2 little led bulbs till yesterday, when I finally turned on the big light...
The SaugaView®:
Her branches are finally starting to grow a little- Not sure what's up with the purple leaf petioles, but I'm not going to worry about it...she got fed 2g/gal. of MegaCrop/4ml Silica Blast on transplant day, and seems to like it so far...
I couldn't leave much of a nub/stump when I topped her, so I'll have to be real
carefulbreaking offtraining those top branches ...
I still don't have that warm, fuzzy feeling about this one....although, she's finally starting to look like a
plant, instead of a seedling- if she holds off on flowering for another ten days or so, she may still turn out alright...
The third set of leaves came in (almost) normal- not quite as funky as the first 2 sets...
the fourth set looked pretty good, too, until I chopped them off...
So that's about it for this one-
She's still running about 4 days behind where she should be, hopefully she catches up this week-
Thanks for looking!
I appreciate the support
And please be careful out there...covid's not done with us yet....
I'm not sure why it's growing so slowly- it sprouted real fast, then did almost nothing for ten days- now it's growing, but slower than what I'm used to...Cause?
I thought I might have a runt on my hands- on Sunday, it finally convinced me otherwise-Why?
You're probably right...Hope so, because it's probably within 5 or 6 days of flowering...I think in 2-3 days that SSH is going to look like a whole different plant under the bigger light.
That's what I'm hoping for- She's slow with everything else, maybe flowering will also be 4 or 5 days late...Maybe she will be a long vegger?
Getting better all the time, luckily, but for now there is definitely some unpredictability in auto genetics. The next few years will be great as they are fine tuned, and some people here figure out and make better versions of them.Yes, I've been curious about what to expect from my first auto, which is now 20 days old. Node 4 is on the way, but I have no idea whether that's fast/slow/good/bad. I guess the in/stability of autoflower genetics as a whole doesn't help!
Ideally, you'll have a fourth node at 12 or 13 days, but 20 days will work too, as long as she holds off on flowering for awhile...but that's the one thing that we can't control...Yes, I've been curious about what to expect from my first auto, which is now 20 days old.
They're better than they used to be, potency-wise- but the unpredictable flowering times are still a weak point...if the breeders could dependably set the flower clock to 35 days or so I think autos would be a lot more popular...for now there is definitely some unpredictability in auto genetics.
It probably will...I'm in it for the duration now, so it is what it is....Hopefully that lil auto gets a movin for ya.
