Carcass' $150 Low Budget Grow 2019

Happy Monday everyone!
It's update time, so here goes.......
Things are moving right along in the box- another 7 days has gone by without any bad stuff happening,so that's a real good thing...

Here's this weeks Saugaview® into the box-it's a little more crowded in there than it was a week ago:

Alaskan Purple auto left, Gelat.OG auto right, Dr.Seedsman bottom

A look through the door...

The Dr.Seedsman CBD will be up-potted to a 3 gallon (ProMix) and moved outside in another week or so- She's 22 days old today, topped above node#5 four days ago. Fed 4.5gMegaCrop & 4ml Silica Blast per gallon.
(photoperiod plant)

AlaskanPurple auto-41 days old, flowering for 16 days- 4.5g MegaCrop/.5g Sweet Candy/.25g Bud Explosion/4ml Silica blast/gal....She's showing a little tip burn, even with the somewhat low dose of MC
1594057894772.jpeg

Gelat.OG auto- she's the hungry one-7g Mega Crop/1g Sweet Candy/.5g Bud Explosion/4ml Silica blast/gal.
Her leaves started getting a bit pale 6 days ago,so I boosted the MC from 6g to 7g- no tip burn, so she apparently likes it...She's 62 days old, flowering for 29 days

Silhouette shots of the 2 bigger girls:
AP auto: (a bit scrawny right now, but it's early)

G.OG auto: (a little fatter than last week)

The APa is on a 2" spacer- I think she might be about done stretching, so she's gonna be a short one....
(not that either one of them is very tall -Apa is 12", G.OGa is 14") lots of buds on both though...

And then there's the outdoor photoperiod ChemDawg#4- only 18" tall, but growing about a half an inch per day...
She's also a hungry one- 6.5g Mega Crop/ 4ml Silica Blast/ gal.
1594059340431.jpeg

Her main top and a few others have 3 leaf nodes- funny- I just noticed this last Tuesday- been there forever, and I just noticed....
She's loving it outside- it's been hot here for the last week, so she's doing extremely well- I'm bringing her in and sitting her under a couple of led bulbs for 4 hours a night (7:30 till 11:30) to delay flowering till she reaches apx. 2.5 feet tall.( about a foot to go)
I bring her in before the moths come out at night so they can't lay their eggs on her- no moth eggs means no caterpillars will be having their way with her...
lots o' leaves:

And that's just about it for this week!
Thanks for looking, I really appreciate the support!
Stay safe out there, and have a great week!:peace:

Those are the best Saugaviews... the crowdier the better :cheesygrinsmiley:
She's showing a little tip burn, even with the somewhat low dose of MC
If the tips are yellow it's burn, but if it's a lime greenish color it's fine and the plant tips will grow into a darker green eventually.

Just the very tips are brown, then there's about 1/16" of yellow, so it's pretty minor- I'll keep that one at 4.5g/MC for a few waterings- when she starts looking hungry, I'll boost her MC up a but... :cheesygrinsmiley:

on the pier in Pismo Beach

My best friend I grew up with down here hails from the pismo beach area.. or his family anyway. Never made it over there for a surf but he always told me about the beach breaks. I bet that water is cold af!

it's been foggier than shit- as it will be again tonight....

Where are my manners! I’ll remember to turn a fan on next time! My apologies my Braddah!

:lot-o-toke::lot-o-toke:

Garden looks wonderful carcass!! Those silhouette shots damn near bring a tear to my eye. Stoked you and Mrs. C had a great 4th!

Hi,Sunny- Thanks for stopping by!
Never made it over there for a surf
You didn't miss much- the surf (and the weather) at Pismo sucks about 362 days a year...
and if you go in that water, you won't be seeing your nuts for awhile!

Not a problem! Mrs. Sunny has had my pair under lock and key for quite some time now so they are plenty safe from going missing

Like a lot of us here life seemed to get really busy all of a sudden.
This^^. June and July are pretty busy months for birthdays and anniversaries here for us. And this year, taxes! (yeah, I just did mine yesterday). :laughtwo:
Because liquid lecithin is three times as potent as powder or granules (it’s also three times as messy), use only 1 teaspoon per cup of butter or oil for your extractions.
Thanks for that ,VG. I've always used that ratio but was getting a bit worried lately seeing peeps mentioning it should be 1TBS per cup. Thought I was doing it wrong all this time. But maybe I might try Carcuss' suggestion of 2tsp just to see if it makes a difference.
The main fireworks show in my area is staged on the pier in Pismo Beach
My family used to go camping there when I was a kid - like 50+ years ago. :laughtwo:
I found out last night that apparently, Mrs.C. and I were the only ones in the neighborhood that didn't buy a bunch of illegal fireworks-
Same with us. Fireworks all throughout our neighborhood til almost midnight... and all fireworks are illegal here - even sparklers.
Happy Monday everyone!

Your plants are looking awesome as always. :thumb:

It's definitely caterpillar season here. I've removed about 10 of them just from one auto plant that was flowering. Gonna get crazy in a few weeks once my photos get in the full swing of flowering.

Mrs. Sunny has had my pair under lock and key for quite some time now
My friend used to make fun of me when I had to ask Mrs.C. if I could go out with the guys:
"Honey, can I please take my nuts? ....All the other guys are bringing theirs!"
The one leaf looks like the margins have a little tipping too with the discoloration and pointing up.
I did notice all the margins are pointing up- I had no idea what was causing that,so now I know-Thanks MrSauga! (I thought it might just be genetic or something)

The moths were a huge problem on a Cheese plant I had growing in the ground last year- I had to spray them with BT every day, and they still managed to screw up 2 or 3 buds...they do love the buds!

.5g Sweet Candy/.25g Bud Explosion
Yup, it's the start of something along the lines of K def. I say along the lines because it only ever shows as somewhat of a K def. The def is really from too much P (prob Bud Explosion) along with the N and the Ca from the MC causing a decreased availability of the K. I'm not sure what versions of SC and BE you run but if it does get worse try dropping the BE. If the SC only has a K value I would keep it in. If the SC has a P-K value then I would drop it as well if the problem persists. Different versions have different values.

Thanks for the info, Mr Sauga!
The SC is 0-0-16, the BE is 0-19-39...
I'll drop the BE- I don't really trust that stuff anyway, that's why I was only using a quarter gram/gal...just trying to slowly use it all up.
Unfortunately, while you were typing, I was watering the AP, .25g BE included.
I'll leave it out of future feedings- I've had it cause problems before, but I was using 1.5g/gallon back then.
The safest place forthe rest of it might just be in the trash can...I've only got a few ounces left anyway...

Hi Mr.S! When you say “margins” what exactly do you mean? Are you talking about the outer, serrated edges of the leaf “fingers”?
Yes, the little "teeth" on the edges of the fingers.
(I just learned it this morning ;) )
lol, you are both correct!!

The SC is 0-0-16, the BE is 0-19-39...
Same versions as mine. You should be able to use them safely after the second week of flower. If you were using them earlier, or you were feeding high amounts of MC(which you weren't I don't think) then you may have problems. Typically I use .1g of SC and .25g of BE with as much as 5.5 - 6g of MC. As long as it doesn't progress I would continue to use up your product. The plants look great all in all and your first post mentioned how minor you thought it was. Either way they are going to finish with some great looking buds.

or you were feeding high amounts of MC(which you weren't I don't think)
Actually, I only increased it from 4g to 4.5g because she started flowering and I figured she would need a little more food to support the buds. Not the case, apparently.
I'll just leave things as they are till she starts looking like she needs a little more.

It's odd she's such a light feeder- the Gelat.og. right next to her is on 7g and it's barely keeping her green....

Inside I never know what's going on with the plants so when I reach 4g's the only time that'll I'll make an increase is if my lower leaves start to lose their greeness compared to the rest of the plant. It's noticeable and if you start to see the signs you'll always be at the right level of MC. I have been in flower with four plants now for over two weeks and they are only taking 4.5g's right now. Two different chemovars but both lighter feeders than others plants that I have had.
