I used up all my trim in the last batch of oil, so this batch is just nugs- I don't smoke a whole lot,so I've got a years worth of pot to use up- If I wasn't using it for oil, It seriously would be around long enough to get stale,and I don't want that... :)

As long as you don't spread it too thin,it's actually a good light for the $$(89)
A 2'x2' is about as big as you'd want to go with one light,but it does good in that space.
I don't know if this will help you,but the lux reading on my meter is 60,000 at 12"on the one I just bought.

Lecithin...you're doing it wrong! From our resident lecithin guru SweetSue as well as the no longer around Cannasavvy, you need liquid sunflower lecithin, and it should be added after infusion, and then left in the fridge overnight to bind with the THC.

I use the Now brand off Amazon or almost any health food store. They should still be open :cheesygrinsmiley:.

The only lecithin I could get locally was a pound of the soy granules.
That's why I add it pre-cook in the MBM- because it won't dissolve otherwise.
I really do need to get the right stuff...next Amazon order, I'll get some of the good stuff & toss the soy!

Yeah, and I've got close to a pound left (minus 6 or 8 tbsp.) and it expires in 5 months- no way I'll use more than 6 or more tbsp. in that time,so most of it will go to waste anyway,,,
I'll just get the right stuff- it makes more sense to add it after infusing the oil,as opposed
to before it starts brewing in the mbm-seems like it might cook out or something.
 
@Cannasavvy did a test of THC levels in infused oil and found much higher levels when the LSL was added after infusion than before. The test starts here.

He's a great kid guy...
He's just finishing his first Mega Crop grow (Tangerine Dream auto)and he pretty much nailed it!
The kids got some skills! (I may be a little bit biased,but it is a beautiful plant!)
Anyway, If you see him around ,give him a welcome,if you've got a minute...

I read @Sweet Sue 's postings on lecithin...But I think I already had the soy stuff when I did.
I tried to dissolve the granules in oil,and it didn't work-that's why I've been adding it to the MBM .
I'm definitely going to get the right stuff- I'm all for even better gummies!

I was only being honest. :love:
 
My little flowering auto clone got transplanted yesterday...I was initially just going
to leave it in the solo cup and make a few seeds, but I felt sorry for it-all those roots with nowhere to go...
I up-potted to a 1 gallon,since space in the box is "limited" to say the least...
So here's a few pics of the process-not very exciting stuff,but we all like pics,and I've got nothing but time,so here they are...
Had to cut the solo cup off,but I managed to save a few of the longer roots:

Here's her new home,prepped with a little rooting powder:

and done! She's on 4g/gal of Mega Crop,next feeding I'll up it to 5,since she's flowering
I also watered her with mosquito dunk treated water,since that new Black Magic soil comes with a generous
portion of soil gnat larva....

And here she is this morning-no droop,no nothing, just doing her job...(growing like a weed)
All the leaves are greening up-even the ones that have been yellow for the last 3 weeks...

I also got to stick the part-time houseplant out in the sun,for the first time in about a week...
She's on 6g of MC now..20" tall, those 4 main colas are 11" long...and she seems to like that sun!

BUT..it has since clouded up,and it looks like it's going to rain rain,so she's coming back inside...
That was fun while it lasted....
