Capt Blast Moving Indoors - A Utility Shed Perpetual

Happy Memorial weekend Capt..... I need a bit of help if you don't mind and if you all would hit the first link in my signature and hit the like on that post I would be forever grateful... It's a link to a post about a Twilight Led and I really really really want this light so if you would help me out a bit please.......:circle-of-love:

You got it Sugar, done!

I like that cloning going on! Great roots. :)

Dixie Cup needs a break, and so do you. LOL

Beautiful buds too, those things are stacked nicely. Congrats on those!

LOL on the fly traps. I have to really really watch myself when those are in use, long hair + fly traps = might as well cut the hair off.:rofl:

Well I finally got home before my flower tent lights came on @ 2100hrs and managed some white light photos for a change. Thought I'd pop 'em up for yawl. There are 7 WWxBB in this 5x5 under 1k HPS, the one smaller and further along with the buds is @ 4 weeks today and the rest @ 3 weeks, thought it pretty cool to show the difference in 1 week of veg time. Getting braver trying to to take advantage of the full height of my tent. Hoping the stretch is bout done because I'm almost out of height

You're right Canna we both need a break, left Dixie home yesterday and she wasn't very happy with me about that!

I'm really liking the way the WWxBB stacks and makes such good hard buds.

The cloning was a rush job so I just went with a little experiment with straight vermiculate and sat them in a tray with 1/2" of water before I left the house. Water was dried up but vermiculate was still wet 5 days later, added water twice and in 14 days had them not only with roots but good and root bound. No dome, no hassle, I like it, like it a lot. Can't wait to try it on some other strains.

Cutting your hair is no help trust an old dude with not much hair, I still get stuck in those damn things too!

:Namaste:

I've found that I can only get away with that when the humidity is up.
Different strains really do quite a bit differently when cloning. My Crit+'s were hard to clone. The OGKs are quite forgiving.

2cents.

Good 2 cents and always welcomed. I guess in the summer time we shouldn't have a problem with RH being up in these parts for sure Tead.

Thanks

I'll have to try that vermiculite cloning thing Captain. I hit on a similar system, which is putting the cuttings in rockwool cubes and then plunking those in a little tub of wet coco. No dome and not much human interference at all till they root- other than a water level touchup once in a while. Works great- most of the time. When it doesn't- I don't think it's the basic system. I'm going to try your idea and layer some vermiculite in the bottom, or maybe just mix a little in the coco and see what that gets me. The coco tends to end up a little on the dry side after a while. Would be nice to dispense with the rockwool and try peat instead, since that's easier to find here. Thanks for the ideas.

I won a couple gift certificates for the POTM thing. One for Gorilla seeds and one for Crop King. Saw those strains you're growing -Green Crack and WW/BB. Quite a few nice looking strains at Gorilla. Can't say I saw much at Crop King that caught my eye- but if anyone here has some recommendations I'd appreciate it. I have a whole lot of long flowering sativa strains and low yield oddballs already- I'm thinking to get one of them there 'normal' short flowering high yield strains- since part of my crop goes in trade to people who like indica more than I do.

Any thoughts? :thanks:

I would try the straight vermiculate WC if available there, kinda/maybe takes longer but hell you time it how you want to right? As far as the Rh we were discussing in another thread as well as with my neighbor Tead, to me, my RH in my tents is all over the place WITH humidity control, but on average it doesn't seem to affect my crop especially near as does temp control. Now all that being said, I could probably yield more trying to dial that in but why, when you gotta spend so much dinero to do it + time + space + a little Chinese dude or elf in there to run all the shit!

Like you, I want to try Gorilla, but they seem limited as to selection. Now if these 7 WWXBB in the flower tent do even half as good as the little storm rider I just harvested, I'm going to be cloning their ass off, hell I got the next two runs ready in just these clones I liked it so much. I was leery of the BB part until Dr. Bob just heaped the praise on it. I'll do a smoke report on it tomorrow , it's heavy and hard just want to try it while straight kinda like first cast, first hit of the day. I will apologize in advance for my report though, never was a wine taster, cigars, well just a teeny bit.

P.S.

RH as it may indeed slow my starts whether clones or seed but there it again its just timing for me.

Good to sea ya hear friend

:goodluck:

I'll try some straight vermiculite and see how it goes. I actually have some of that already.

You may be thinking of Crop King here? Gorilla seemed to have plenty of good strains from some good breeders. I managed to squeeze ten different strains into my $50 gift certificate, including freebies. :thumb:
Crop king has a dozen strains or something. Not sure what they're like. They definitely seem to have the thc content though. I'll be checking out a couple of them.
Hope all's well with you sir. Don't work too hard.
Heading back out to crawl around under the oh so glorious fleet and deal with the latest barnacle outbreak. Spilled bleach on my 420 t shirt too, damn I should know better...

You're right it was crop king I was thinking of. Thanks for that WC

So I've had my outdoor plants in my spot where I started seeds & Vegging in my cage last year, place gets about 4-5 hours morning sun, more intense in front than back. Now when I thought to bring my lil' gals out from the tent they had been vegging in I had an oh shit moment and hem hawed around the best time to put them out as they had been on a 18/6 regimen of light and with the hours I been working I wasn't going to put them out at midnight when the lights go out. So I loaded them up went out back to the shooting house flipped my DIY tray over, shot a cotton mouth deader than a hammer, and put them in. 3 days later, yesterday afternoon just before dark went to spin my tray around, to allow more sun to the back ones and gave them some water and grow big. They have double in size so I guess they didn't care about the time clock. I hope to get them in the holes on my 1/2 day off either Tuesday afternoon or Thursday morning.

Here they are before opening the pen and spinning the tray:

Then after spin and water and closing the pen back up:

The outdoor girls look like they are enjoying "God's Grow Light" :) and your indoor grow is rockin'! I am trying to get caught up around the house and grow. I no longer will have to be out of town 3 days a week so I have the time I need to get my grow back in order.

Good kill on the cotton mouth. I hate those things, but I love your dog. Looks just like my "Cocoa" that I had for 15 years.

Have a good weekend, Capt'n !
