Canuk Seeds Comparative Grow

more paper towel... u trying to drown the seed or growth them ? pure tap water sitting for a few days.. no h2o2 needed..

Thanks DeltaDubie, I only soaked them for a few hours. They are now in paper towel in a tub, on a heat mat, my usual method of germinating seeds. I poured the solution onto the paper towel with the seeds,

I have them at 24.5 C because our temperatures are up and down like a yoyo, from 30s down to 13 C. I prefer to keep them at a stable temperature and then I can feel confident they will sprout.

Our room temps are fairly stable. 28-32c Rh steady 75-85% 365 days. We do something very close to Carmen. Soak for a couple of hours in water taken straight from the swimming pool, its a low concentration of H2O2, no salt or chlorine.

Into paper and ziplok bags and then bulldog clipped into a cardboard box for about 48 hours just left lying around out of direct sunlight. Any longer the tails can get too long to easily work with them.

Think we’ve done something approaching 50 this week. Got tails on all but 2. Had about 5 not launch (although there’s still 19 in bags)

My Canuk’s are still on the boat - hopefully arriving in Bangkok any day.

Be nice timing getting the 25 of them early next week. All those 50 will be in solos by then.

Lets see if I’m so blasé in 3 months when we have 60 plants to harvest 😂

You got your hands full for sure! Can't wait to see all those lovely plants!

I have some videos up on Vimeo

This is from the weekend of the current main grow. Really want to harvest asap. We had a 5-6 hour power cut two days ago but they just need a little longer. Think we’ll start cutting some at the weekend. Nightmare few days coming up, new (human) baby due any day, think being induced tomorrow, my daughter’s fourth birthday Sunday (she wants a rabbit, like I need another animal in the house 🤣) and all these seedlings on the go. Plus harvest. Ho hum, we’ll get it done.

Holy Moly, Nick!

Either you have a huge garden or I have a little, teeny one.

I'll go with the former! :thumb:

Once we convince you to go organic you'll be glad you have it in the house as rabbit poop is one of the best of the manures. Great quality stuff and one of the few that you can use immediately without composting first. :thumb:

That’s very cool to know. Rabbit poo is about the only kind I can deal with, its dry and hard balls, loads of wabbits round where I grew up. I’m just worried about introducing the cat - he’s the Apex predator on the street.

We have organic too though! Giant SIP and Midi SIP Auto. Might compost her though. 10” max and in flower. Don’t think she liked the Co2

Dam!! That's cool!! 😎

Yea, I meant once you go organic for real, not just a dalliance. :laughtwo:
The next main grow isn’t organic but right now we have really tall girls in there. I wanted to see how big we could go after I had roof taken off 🤣

We’ll see on yields. Next one in that room, the girls are already in solos. I’ve gone pretty much all bushy Indica hybrids done in 8 weeks and we’ll flip a little sooner. The Midi SIP Organic I think doesn’t like all the Co2 in there, can’t generate enough nutrient uptake quick enough. Maybe just came up with that idea when you mentioned rabbit poo for some reason. But also its an Auto so who knows. Not a fan.

But if we do a grow after that it will be low season, no ones buying, maybe an all organic grow in there? Run it a little longer and slower. Not sure how it would work? 5 gallons enough? It would be quite cool to have a smaller yield at a time of year we’re not really going to be selling much I guess marked “All Organic Grown In Thailand”

But not SIPs! We have the irrigation system perfect.

Hmm - got me thinking, Azi. Cheers.
