The hash is a mix of all flavors culled last round. As for how I make it I have a tutorial in my sig.

The soil mix I use offers a broad range of all 16 micro and macro nutrients as well as a full range of L-amino fulvic and humic acids. Whereas the dwc ladies are in only the base nutes of their respective brands. Leaving much to be desired. This is to see not which nutes is the best per se but rather which is most well balanced and suited to sustaining a healthy plant as a standalone nutrient. With minimal issue. Its still anyone's game still. But long answer short... they're not as frosty because their diet is very limited whereas the soil ladies have a buffet. One eats Mac and cheese everynight the other is a five start chef ;)

Things have been going much better brother. thank you for asking. I have been channeling my positive vibes your way as well dude.

One question on the super soil I am in veg plants are near 8 weeks old and some of the older leaves seem to get some dried out leaf tips like it loses no green color really just dries up can you tell me what you think. I will post a picture in my journal tonight hopefully.

Salt buildup. That's what causes it. Manure's of all types do this, as well as salt based ferts.

A thorough flush with yucca extract or a weak humic acid solution will help tremendously getting the salt out.

Thats what I was thinking too. Weird since I have not given any synthetics. I am not too worried about it plants are still vigorous and happy. Hey Doc I wanted to apologize for not putting up the reports sooner. Been a busy week for me. But boy I am going to tell you that high brix weed is hands down superior in every way. It gets a point from me for all criteria I look for in a bud. The high, well the high is truly unique and a pleasure to burn all day if you can. I promise to give up the report soon.

I haven't looked at your soil mix....but any organic mix will have salt issues after several runs. Salts are not necessarily synthetic!

Salts are very natural, especially those that occur in soil....naturally.

A good flush as described will help tremendously.

As for the smoke reports, I look forward to them!

RE: HIgh Brix High. Serious trouble here. I have created a dozen weed snobs and they won't smoke anything else.

Solid info doc. Shotta if I recall ur using organic teas in unison with your mix. The salinity of some (the oyster shell in particular) is greater Han u would find in say potash. Coupled with a hot mix fairly heavy in minerals and you've got buildup. I use the tea every 3rd water maximum to help offset buildup. Ideally with most strains ull need only water.

Ive always been a weed snob. I can't imagine what brix will do to me. In other news my brix on the SS heavy d hit 13 this morning. Kinda jacked on that.

hey doc been trying to get all in order for the brix grow, wanted to ask you which tool u use to measure?i use a pycnometer and its a bit of a pita, i have a hydrometer as well....somewhere. do u recommend either of theres or do u prefer a refractometer? thanks again mate!

I use an analog, temperature compensated refractometer, like they would use for testing wine grapes in the field.

It's designed to do exactly what we do.....test plant juices
